We stayed here for a volleyball tournament and it was great at accommodating a lot of people. The rooms are very large and ours had a great view. You can tell it is a newer hotel or redone. Parking is across the street in a parking garage or you can Valet park. The staff is less than friendly and has a hard time with any requests or helping when myself or other parents had questions or concerns. I think I would try another hotel in the area before coming back to this hotel. There is a restaurant inside as well as a small convenience store and bar. The pool and hot tub are outside but heated.

Amazing views, infinity pool, great pool bar food (get t here quesadillas) and reasonably priced.

This is the guy who verbally assaulted and attacked me.

During my recent stay at Daytona Grande hotel for New Year's Eve, I experienced significant disappointment and concern regarding the inadequate security measures implemented. I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the security protocols in place during my stay. During my stay, I observed several issues that compromised the safety and security of guests, including on the night of NYE at approximately, early morning hours was sitting in the foyer, alone taking pictures with a tripod and at this time I noticed the area was left unattended, with no staff present to monitor who was entering or exiting the event/party that was held at the hotel. However, I thought most attendees were gone. Yet, there were still people coming out of the banquet room. Note: There were no visible security patrols in the hallways or around the property during the late-night hours specifically following the NYE event that you hosted for guests and non hotel guests. During this time, I observed suspicious behavior by guests exiting the banquet room in a state of intoxication, with the area left unsecured. I attempted to capture photographs and proceed to my room when I was approached by an individual who persistently inserted himself into my camera shots. (Photo attached) I felt uneasy and requested that he allow me to take my photographs so that I could continue with my evening. He departed and returned with an individual whom I presumed to be his significant other, inquiring if I could take their photographs. Although I felt apprehensive, I was compelled to take several photos for them due to the presence of another woman and my desire to avoid causing a disturbance. Subsequently, as individuals I believe to be part of his group emerged from the banquet room, he insisted that I take their photographs as well. At this juncture, I discerned that they were all potentially overserved alcohol and were visibly intoxicated. When I politely declined to take any further photographs, I was subjected to verbal abuse, threats, and a display of unsavory and abhorrent behavior by the same individual. As I was being attacked by more than half a dozen people, someone identified as DAVID, who was wearing a security uniform, came directly to me. I thought I had finally found a way to escape the situation, but he was not at all prepared for that moment as I was trying to offer some insight. Instantly, the same guy started trying to get closer to me, and his group could not control him. In fact, someone ended up on the ground. (Please review the security footage.) At that point, David should have taken official incident reports and called the police. However, he did neither. Subsequently, I approached the front desk and asked to speak with a supervisor and I met Holly, who said that she the front desk supervisor and by herself. I once again tried to get someone to take an incident report and I was once again failed by Holly and your hotel and was in complete shock that this was happening to me. I couldn't rest until she recorded what occurred including an unidentified man getting on the elevator with me yet not going to any floor but mine and then subsequently going back down to the lobby because I did not leave the hallway of my floor. I attempted to report this to both Holly and David who both failed to properly report this on my behalf. It was if they wanted no documentation that any of this occurred. These deficiencies made me feel unsafe and vulnerable, significantly detracting from my ability to relax and enjoy my stay, as I was constantly concerned about the security of my belongings and personal well-being. As a guest, I expected a reasonable standard of security, which was clearly not met. I request that you investigate these serious lapses and take immediate action to implement robust security protocols, such as increased patrols, secure access points, and staff training. I hope you agree with me that this type of service is completely unacceptable at so many levels. It is not the kind of treatment I would have expected from a four/five star hotel of your state and caliber. I am very disappointed from this bitter experience. My statements are intended to serve as a cautionary tale for those who may still consider staying at this establishment. This is particularly important for women and individuals traveling alone.

I booked the Daytona Grande for my 26th birthday & I received awful service at the front desk with a lady named Andy. I had booked an oceanfront suite on the 23rd floor & i wanted to extend my stay I went directly to the front desk to book directly with the hotel & I received miscommunication as I was told it was cheaper to book through a 3rd party online. As I did what I was told to do come to find out I was unable to stay at my suite unless I paid an additional $300 with my intention of booking with the hotel directly I felt mislead & extremely dissatisfied on my birthday. The tonality & the way I was spoken to was unacceptable from a 4 star hotel.

We stayed at the Daytona Grande hotel for my fiance's surprise birthday weekend getaway. The view from the oceanfront room was perfect. She wanted a beach day for her birthday and this place delivered :) The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. I was able to communicate with the hotel through Expedia and arrange for a birthday cake slice to be delivered to the room ahead of time as we were delayed because of the airline and not able to check in until after room service was closed. Very happy they made the cake delivery work, thank you! The shower was spacious and great water pressure. We never watch tv in our hotel room while traveling so I can't speak to the tv/channel options. We ate breakfast in their restaurant in the lobby the first morning and it was solidly good. Priced at what you would expect for a hotel breakfast. But the real gem of breakfast were these cheese pastries. We asked the waiter if they made the pastries in house and he told us that the lady who worked the omelet station bakes them herself and the restaurant orders them from her! They were so good we went back and gave her a tip :) The pool was clean and a refreshing break from the hot sun in the afternoon. The hot tub was okay. If I had to guess the water was around 100F degrees. I'm use to 102-105F so it was a little cooler than I prefer. The jets were also not very powerful. Walking down the walkway to the beach was great, we spent most of the time out there :) My only concern, which we also told the front desk on checking out, was how slippery the flooring was around the pool area. My fiancé almost fell once and we watched at least three other people actually fall just walking around. I would definitely stay here again, I just hope they address the slippery pool area.

The parking garage is not attached. The first appearance is grande, white crisp n clean. The room is nice n clean. Rob the Manager is the best. He accommodated me with 2 concerns that were not major! Go Rob you ROCK . I will definitely be back to relax.

The view! Looking east and south.

We rented a suite on the 26th floor. The views were spectacular! Cannot say enough about the views! Also the suite itself was spacious, esp the shower and bathroom. More than enough linens. All thick and comfy! The living room area was set up to maximize the views. Furniture was comfortable. Dining table and chairs were spacious but didn't take up a lot of room. The bedroom also maximized the views. Everything was clean and worked. Unfortunately, the ac could not keep up w the heat coming through the single paned, floor to ceiling windows. Room was consistently 74° which was very uncomfortable for sleeping. Every night was miserable for sleeping. The employee who came up to check the ac said the air blowing was 53° and gave us to two floor fans to circulate the air. He said it was the single paned glass and the not enough tinting causing this issue. Also, we had the blackout curtains pulled closed all day. Why did we pay for a spectacular view only to close it off whenever we were in the suite. The indoor temp, with the fans, never lowered below 71°. This includes days during Tropical Storm Debby, when it was cooler and overcast outside. Also, the fans made a lot of noise, along with the ac. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff was friendly. The evening staff of the onsite restaurant, esp André, was superb. The dinner was delicious. The morning breakfast staff, including another André, was friendly. The lady who made the omelettes of the breakfast buffet made a perfect omelette. The valet guy was helpful in explaining how the resort worked for moving luggage. They would not allow guests to use the luggage carts themselves. Had to use the valet/bus boy. One could self park across the street in a nice multilevel garage for $18 per day or use valet for $33 per day. We opted to self park, no issues w crossing the streets. Our vehicle was always out of the sun, and stormy weather. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. If the room cooling issue was fixed, The Daytona Grande would be a 5/5 and a perfect place to stay while visiting Daytona Beach, Florida.

The check in was simply efficient and amazing with Sega. She definitely found her niche in customer service work. The room was also gorgeous and extremely clean.

We booked through Expedia so the booking experience was simple. Check in was quick and the staff were pleasant. Friendly and helpful. We got the room we wanted and the room was nice. Room: clean and nice. Had basic toiletries but no hair dryer. The mini fridge was the best I've seen. It was bigger than the usual and even had a small section at the too that was a true freezer and froze well. We had ice for our way home when we checked out. Would have been nice if the TV was a smart one so we could watch one of our streaming services if we chose. Only basic cable channels were available. Bed was somewhat comfy but you could feel the indentions from being slept in already. Which I didn't expect with it being so new. AC was very loud when it ran but that is typical of hotels. Bring your ear plugs. Hotel Amenities: No ice vending on any floor. You had to go to the bar lobby and ask for it there. One disadvantage of staying in a hotel that really wasn't complete. The little store they had inside had basic chips/snacks but that was it. No drinks or toiletries you may have forgotten while packing or anything. One bar and a restaurant that was empty the whole time we were there. I didn't even know the name or the menu it offered. No signage or marketing or music. Nothing. The pool was nice and so was the jacuzzi. There was an outside bar I only saw someone attending in the morning for a few hours. No one in the evening or late afternoon. Location: probably the only really great thing about this hotel. I did like that it was right on the beach with a nice walkup ramp to the private section of the beach. Most streets that had fun shops/bars were in walking distance so we walked to most places. For the money we spent, the hotel has major opportunities. Just getting basic amenities up and running and really bring the hotel to life. It was very bland and boring. I wouldn't stay here again

This hotel was right across the street from Ocean Center where we would be headed the next morning. The hotel was massive having a south and north tower with 16 floors on each side. My roommate and I were ocean front on the 12th floor, nearly in the middle of the south tower. WOW, what a view! I didn't realize until arriving to the room there was no balcony. However, you could open a regular size sliding door to see and hear the ocean. There were bars like a balcony in front of the sliding door but you could only step out one foot on the tiny platform. I left the door open while I was reading and it was so peaceful to hear the ocean;) Parking was nearly two blocks away on the opposite side of the street and across the street from the entrance of Ocean Center behind a barbecue restaurant. This was a bit of a pain pulling the luggage that far. Plus you had to go up a steep incline to get into the lobby. I could have paid an extra $20 for parking overnight if I had used the hotels valet service. No thanks lol! We did get a discount for the parking lot because we were attending the conference. Instead of $35 it was $20 (with taxes $23). The hotel was a little dated. The light over the sink flickered. But did stop after the light was on for a little bit. The beds however were up to the Hilton standard as well as the pillows, nice and comfortable. I shared the room with a friend from church. I liked the feature of having an extra sink and mirror outside the bathroom. There was a mini fridge but no microwave. The desk chair needed replaced as the seat was very worn in. Service at the front desk was friendly and they helped answer all my questions about parking. It was a little confusing because you didn't have a ticket and I couldn't figure out how I would get out of the lot when the conference was over the next day. But the front desk attendant advised they would have someone at the exit gate to open it when the conference let out. And they did;) Thanks for a comfortable night's sleep Hilton! I would stay here again if attending a conference that included a discount code as this hotel was pretty pricey.

When we arrived, I went in and spoke with Nastassia, who informed me they did have availability, so I went ahead and book a room from the 9th through the 13th. The first thing I noticed is the total price she indicated was more than the website with taxes and fees. I was given a Veteran Discount and entered my rewards number, which may or may not assist in free stays in the future, but the overall amount still was above the quote on the website. She gave us a free upgrade to a kitchenette room, which was cool and my wife and I went to the room. While there, we requested plates and silverware and was informed they would be putting it together for us stating they would ensure it was sanitized and ready for use. When it arrived, it was not very clean. Not to say it hadn't been cleaned at one point in time, but instead had sat somewhere unused for a while and was just thrown in a large Tupperware bin and not rinsed off again. Everything seemed fine; however, early veterans day morning, we were awoken by construction on the floor above us, before 9 am. Ann, the desk clerk seemed disinterested in our complaint, so we just went about our day. On that same morning after getting ready to head out antiquing, we both noticed tiny little bugs in the bathroom sink, kitchen and table. I couldn't really say if they were bed bugs, because we have never seen them before, but they looked to be very tiny ants. Later that evening, while watching tv in bed, I realize I was being bitten and notified the front desk who moved us to another room, where we stayed for the remainder of our time there. Nastassia was at the front desk at that time and decided to provide us with two free breakfasts for our last two mornings, which was good; however, even when in their dining area, we noticed the little bugs there on the tables. Before heading out on our final day, I decided despite the breakfasts provided to speak with the manager regarding the issues we've had. At first, he asked if we had left our sliding balcony door open, which we did not, because of the very loud surf sound and then asked if we went to the beach, which I again replied no, because the hotel literally sits right on the beach and twice a day, the surf crashes against the walls and in some places comes up onto the pool area, where they have cones indicating the water hazard. This to me seemed as if he was trying to blame us for their lack of cleanliness and pest control at their "resort". Either way, he removed the resort fees from our bill, which saved us the price of a full day, but again, still did not equate to the amount quoted for staying on their website. That evening, our tv internet went out for over an hour. They did send a maintenance person, who fiddled around with the tv, as if we touched something and caused the issue ourselves. Finally, as if the roar of the surf in the back wasn't enough, the hotel sits right off the main road and you can hear every loud car, motorcycle and emergency vehicle for miles. When we were moved from room 609 to 509, the front door started a high pitch howl early in the morning, because the wind picked up, which we attributed to the water proof seal on the door needing to be replaced. When mentioning it upon exit, the male desk clerk stated he would let someone know, but again seemed disinterested in the complaint. When went took them up on the free breakfasts, bar tender/server in the dining area was very cordial and efficient; however, the toast they served arrived soggy, both times. All and all, I can say this was the absolute worst stay I have ever had and recommend you choose another newer hotel in the area.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby that are good for groups of friends or families with young kids. It is very convenient, especially if you're here to go to a race or car show. I had a single king bed on the third floor that a view of the corner of Daytona Speedway and a corner of the NASCAR Headquarters. The natural light was great, the room came with one sitting chair, but at night the lighting made the room feel kind of yellowish and dim. It had easily adjustable air conditioning that was powerful and a large flat screen TV. There were plenty of clothing drawers but the closet space was kind of a weird set up. Instead of a traditional tall closet, they decided to make a slim, super tall closet and slice it in half with a top and bottom, except there was no hanger rack for the top half. The top half of the closet felt like inefficient use of space. There's a fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board which are always helpful. I loved the firmness of the bed and never woke up in the middle of the night on any nights. Slept like a big ol' baby! They don't service your room unless you schedule it in advance, but you must schedule it at least 24 hours ahead of time. If you are staying for a number of nights and you think you'll want the room cleaned, you may as well tell them at check-in what days you'd like your room cleaned and they can put it on the schedule right then. Quirky things about the hotel... The ice room on the third floor was like a sauna. It's 10-15 degrees hotter when you are getting your ice in the little room than anywhere else in the hotel. There must not be any ventilation in the room. The hotel has a bar but there is no bartender and it's never open. So you'll have to settle for the bottled wine and beer selections at the fridge near the front desk. There is free breakfast at the hotel, but it is the exact same food every day. When I went to pick up some coffee each morning I looked and it was the same turkey sausage every day for five straight days. Never saw bacon, never saw ham. The same soft boiled eggs and the same fruit. Variety is not their strong suit, but the breakfast is complimentary. There is no onsite restaurant at the hotel. The bar of soap they provide for bathing is tiny. I enjoyed my stay here. If you're looking for clean, comfortable and practical, it is definitely all of that. A couple of my co-workers did not love their rooms on the 4th floor. They said for some reason it smelled like pee up there, so maybe ask for one of the other floors if you get a choice. I had no issues with my room or the service at the hotel. They don't charge for parking and there is plenty of parking in the lot or parking structure. If you want comfort and convenience, this hotel is great for that. If you're looking for something where you can hear the water, then you should pick a hotel closer to the beach.

Its 15 min to the beach as well so it's not as fun if you're with kids to pack all the beach stuff every time and ride home with sandy kids. It's across the street from the speedway and a Gold's Gym. They have free breakfast, a kitchenette and Monday- thurs free evening appetizers and snacks. The front desk always seems a little flustered and their system is frequently down so they can't help much in terms of requesting for late checkouts, room key duplicates etc. I knocked off a star because the housekeeping staff were super slow in giving us the towels we called in for. It took almost all day for towels even after they cleaned our rooms, the towels were missing without any explanation. That was the main frustration with our stay otherwise we had a good stay.

First, no soap of any kind at the bathroom sink. Only a pump-bottle in the shower. I asked the front desk for soap, figuring it was just a mistake, but they verified this is standard. So you finish using the toilet, you got to go over to the shower and pump out a shot of "shower gel" then go to the sink to wash hands! Also, the commode did not flush with adequate power, requiring often two flushes and sometimes, your own efforts with TP or towel to reach down and wipe away 'crap' that did not go down with the weak flush! TV has a very weak system-- difficult to find channels, no ability to use apps like Netflix or to even find decent listing of channels. Just several CHEAP things like that that I suppose the management is using to save pennies, but they all add up to an inadequate hosting.
