I found a car I was interested in at this dealership and started texting with a salesman named Coby. After some initial back and forth I agreed to go down to the lot to see the car. I then started researching the dealership reviews and saw the reviews here on Yelp. They're awful. I texted Coby and let him know I wasn't interested due to the reviews I saw here. He made a token effort to try and convince me to come down, but I had not interest, I've had a bad experience in the past (see my review of Armadillo Auto if you like horror stories) and I wasn't going through that again. I resumed my search for another car somewhere else, and I kept coming back to the one at Daytona because it had everything I was looking for options-wise. I looked up more reviews on Google and saw they have something like 800 reviews there, and were 4+ stars, so I texted Coby again with the idea that if I started to feel like things were going the wrong way I'd just bail and move on. My experience from there was very positive, they negotiated with me over the phone, they didn't pressure me for a sale when I told them I was going to leave because I had to think about the terms we had discussed and the car, because I wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing. Everything was professional, it was how I wanted the transaction to go. I spoke to Daniel, Levi and Miguel along with Coby and everybody was super nice. Do NOT buy a vehicle from this dealership. I purchased the car from out of state. They sent me a video before shipping it out. In the video call the sales person Cole said that the wheels were in perfect shape and no curb rash. However, when receiving the car two of the wheels were damaged. They tried to blame the transport company, but they sent me pics showing it was noted at pickup of vehicle and not the transport company. This is going to cost an extra $1200 out of my pocket. They refused to take responsibility or even offer any pricing concessions. I was told shipping"ship it back we have plenty of other people who would purchase this car" Additionally, I was told shipping and 2 keys were going to be included. After signing paperwork, I was informed that I would have to pay $1250 to ship the car and it only had 1 key. The management was unresponsive. Do not trust these dealership. Levy was so great at trying to make a sale and even after writing things on paper and multiple times stating to ensure things go to a different address our plates went missing. For weeks we have been calling asking for our plates and status update and always told that we will get a call back as the person who sold our car was not in. I asked prior if we can pick up in person and he stated not to worry about it. The store manager is rude and unprofessional on top of that when calling asking for a solution and reimbursement that is a mess up on his seller ends. I am not quick to make decisions and I do not respond well to feeling pressured by sales people. Thank goodness Daytona motors understood this, they gave me the space and time I needed to make the big decision to purchase a second vehicle. They were helpful in arranging a PPI so I could feel more confident in the decision. They listened to my reasoning and were thoughtfully checking in on my reasoning. I visited the dealership on three occasions to see the car and even just sit in the car. They lie and say the car is "in great condition no issues" and the ev has a severely degraded battery in actuality. They just want to get it off their hands for almost 5k out the door. They are lying about the current mile range they only put the original range that it has when new. Originally paid $500 for them to replace the 4 bald tires on the 2022 Tesla we were purchasing. By swapping from 22-inch wheels to 20-inch wheels, they said that we actually wouldn't have to pay for new tires as they had 4 "like-new" tires that they would throw on the car. They sent the car to get the 20-inch wheels repaired. The car was charged to full before, they drove the Tesla Plaid 100 miles in the process of doing a wheel repair, completely uncalled for. The wheel repair was crap, the paint is peeling off. They were supposed to repair the trim as stated in the Due Bill. They said they put the 4 "like-new" tires on. I test-drove the vehicle and the wiper blades got stuck up on the windshield due to not being tightened down. Misdirected by this and the 100 miles of missing charge, I failed to check the tires. After purchasing the vehicle, I looked at the tires - 1 was completely bald, another had a giant hole in the side wall. These guys let me hop on the highway in the rain in a 1,000 horsepower Plaid on a bald tire and a blown-out sidewall. I called them to ask them to put the 4 "like-new" tires they said they were going to put on and fix the trim as stated in the Due Bill. They were very unprofessional and hung up on me. Where to begin. They turned out to be the stereo-typical used car salesmen. Tries to sell me $8000 of extras that they did not ask if I wanted, or tell me beforehand. The car basically sold itself, but it had a lot of flaws that were not disclosed and I should have taken the time to explore. I purchased a 2023 Chevy Bolt EV. The Chevy dealership found evidence that the car had been in an accident, which was not disclosed, or reported in Carfax, but, to a trained salesman, or used car dealership, should have been easily recognized. The VIN number and other dealer information was removed from the inside of the driver's side door panel. Besides this, the heater and AC did not work. Also, the car would not charge past 30%. It had a major software issue with the battery pack/charging system. I was just lucky the car was still under a manufacturer warrantee, and the vehicle was repaired under an active recall. I don't know if there are laws that require full disclosure of vehicles up for sale, but there should be. They just took full advantage of an old man who did not know any better. I purchased a 2013 BMW 328i from Daytona Motors in Lynwood on 10/10/2025 as a gift for my daughter's 16th birthday. I relied on the dealer's assurance that it was a well‑maintained local trade, free of warning lights, and ready for the road. Unfortunately, that representation was completely false. After having the vehicle for 3 weeks and accumulating less than 200 miles, the car suddenly stalled and displayed warning lights for low oil pressure and drivetrain malfunction -- issues any reputable dealership should have identified before selling. The vehicle died the same day and could not be restarted, even after multiple attempts to jump‑start it and replacing the battery. We had the car towed to a BMW‑specialized auto shop, where the mechanics discovered severe engine damage. Metal debris was found inside the oil filter, indicating the oil had not been changed in an extended period. The shop confirmed the dealership should have been aware of this during inspection. The repair estimate was between $20,000 and $25,000 to replace the engine, on a car we had purchased for $8917.00 I immediately attempted to contact Leon Stacy, the salesperson who sold us the vehicle. He never returned my calls despite multiple voicemails. When I called the dealership, I was twice told he was with a customer and would return my call, but I never heard back. There was no assistance, no accountability, and no customer service. This experience has been financially devastating and deeply frustrating. What was meant to be a special birthday gift for my daughter turned into a complete failure due to Daytona Motors. They do not stand behind the vehicles they sell and clearly have no regard for their customers. I am in the process of filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Washington State Office of the Attorney General and filing small claims lawsuit against the company. read more

On September 6th, a vehicle was sold by this dealership under the claim that it had no issues. The car was sold "as-is," which in itself is understandable, but the dealership also stated during their so-called inspection that everything was fine. In reality, the car had several clear problems right away. The seats wouldn't move forward or backward, the seatbelt chime continued to beep even when passengers were buckled, the horn didn't work, rust was visible under the seats, and one of the rear headlights was out. The dealership agreed to fix the headlight and turn signal before the car left the lot. However, as soon as the buyers drove onto the freeway, the car began rocking back and forth and wouldn't stay level. The engine kept lagging when trying to keep up with traffic. By the time they got home, the car broke down in a Les Schwab parking lot. When the buyers contacted Levi and Jaydon at the dealership, they were told, "It was sold as-is. What do you expect?" Levi went so far as to say that it was the buyer's responsibility to inspect the car before purchase, despite the dealership claiming to perform inspections themselves. When pressed, Levi admitted they "don't keep inspections." This meant they had no proof of what, if anything, had been checked before selling the vehicle. The situation only got worse. The dealership began blocking the buyer's calls. When the car was towed back by AAA, the dealership later dismissed the breakdown as a "key fob issue" tied to the anti-theft system, even though both keys were still in use and they couldn't explain which one supposedly caused the problem. They fixed some physical issues, like the broken door and the headlight, but continued to avoid accountability. What makes the matter even more concerning is that after repairs, when the buyers went to pick up the car--three hours away--the dealership forced them to sign a binding agreement. The document stated that no further reviews, comments, or complaints could be made online, or else they would sue for $5,000 per violation. This came after the buyers had already posted a negative Google review about their experience. Out of fear, they removed the review, which shows clear manipulation and intimidation by the dealership. In total, what started as a car valued at around $5,000 turned into an $8,000 sale, stacked on top of $7,000 in negative equity, leaving the buyer stuck paying $28,000 for a vehicle that broke down the very same day. This entire situation demonstrates what appears to be fraud, manipulation, and a severe lack of accountability. This place is nothing but a scam. My husband and I visited about two weeks ago to purchase a BMW we had seen advertised online. We took it for a test drive, and during the test drive, the salesperson, Jaden, informed us about their dealership's 30-day guarantee, despite Washington's law requiring car sales to be sold as is. He explained that they do this to maintain their reputation and that it sets them apart from other dealerships. Upon arriving at the dealership after the test drive, we noticed smoke coming from under the hood, which naturally raised our concerns. They informed us that this was a common issue, specifically a valve cover gasket replacement. They offered to fix it if we were interested in purchasing the car. I confirmed with Jaden that the 30-day guarantee still applied if any other problems arose. He reassured us that it was indeed a 30-day guarantee. I asked if this guarantee would be in writing, and he confirmed that it would be. This information led us to decide to proceed with the deal. As we discussed the price, I once again asked about the 30-day guarantee, and he reiterated that it would be in writing and that it was guaranteed. He even shared a story about a previous customer they had helped with their car, without any additional costs beyond the 30-day period. Before finalizing the deal, we wanted to know the estimated time for the valve cover gasket replacement, as we didn't have another car at the time. They informed us that it would be ready the next day (Monday) or at the latest the day after. However, when it came to signing the paperwork, I noticed that the 30-day guarantee was missing from the document, unlike what we had been led to believe. When I brought this up to Jaden, he informed us that it was part of their policy and that it didn't require formal documentation because it was already guaranteed by their policy. On Tuesday, I called to inquire about the status of the car. They informed me that the part wouldn't be ready until the next morning, so we could expect to have the car at the latest Wednesday evening. Then it was Wednesday evening. I hadn't heard anything from the dealership, so I called for an update. They informed me that their mechanic was backed up and couldn't repair the car until the next day. I explained my urgent appointment and reiterated my request for a 3 p.m. pickup. A different salesman, who I didn't recognize, appeared to be Hispanic with ginger facial hair. He rudely informed me that I should have paid for the car's repair and that I was lucky they even fixed it. After canceling my important appointment, I finally received the car an hour later. Two weeks passed, and my husband and I noticed that the car began idling low at start. Then, we received an alert indicating a drivetrain malfunction and the car wouldn't accelerate past about 40 mph. I called the dealership to inform them about the issue. They informed me that Jaden, the person that had sold us the car, wasn't available to speak to me. I explained the situation to a different salesman and mentioned that Jaden had promised a 30-day guarantee if anything happened to the car. However, the salesman denied that Jaden had said that and claimed that such a policy didn't exist. He told me that Jaden would never say that and that I was lying. His behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. While these sales representatives are friendly when trying to make a sale, their customer service deteriorates after that. They resort to lying to customers to encourage them to purchase the car. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and taking any necessary action to hold them accountable for their employees' deception. I'll try to keep this as short as possible, but if you only take away one thing from my review please know that you cannot buy a car here without it being inspected by another mechanic first. You need to know what needs to be fixed because they do not inspect the cars, and if they offer to do work on the car for you, don't let them. I hope this saves someone else the headache and frustration I've gone through. When you reach out or go in they'll be very nice, but remember they are car salesmen (the stereotypical kind). They'll say they're not but they are. I came to look at one car, drove an hour in traffic for my appointment with Jaydon, that car didn't work and they hadn't even turned it on prior to me driving out there to know that. They showed me a different year in the same model, so didn't have all of the features I wanted but I decided to buy it because I believed what they told me about cost effective options to add those features (turned out not to be options), how they inspect their cars throughly, and how much they care about their customers. Please don't fall for it like me. I still got the $4k warranty to be safe as it has higher miles and I wasn't getting it looked at by another mechanic, and was told the warranty "covers everything". My friend and I said that's not possible, no warranty covers everything. The salesman (Julian, who is no longer there and they love to state that fact as if he didn't represent the company while there) doubled down and said it does, no matter what was wrong it would be covered. Only a few days after having the car I was back because the rear brakes needed replacing, the alignment was off, and the check engine light was on. They tried to argue that wouldn't be covered in the warranty as it's "wear and tear", something that wasn't mentioned when I was told everything was covered. I said I couldn't put any "wear and tear" on a car in a few days so this should have been fixed prior to you selling it to me, so they agreed to do it. I spent multiple hours during my work day there on separate days (including my 2 hour round trip drive each time) while they said they would fix what was wrong. After it was obvious they couldn't fix it as the check engine light stayed on and new issues appeared, I was sent to the Jeep dealership to have it diagnosed. They came back with over $7k worth of items needing immediate repair, and the warranty only covered $2k, leaving me with the rest of the bill. Not only that but the rear brakes they put in were done wrong so I had to pay out of pocket to have that fixed too. I've called multiple times trying to give this feedback to the GM and even just asked for his email so I could send it to him directly as I get we are both busy. I always want to give a company the opportunity to make it right before putting out a bad review. Jaydon and Levi have both said they are telling Miguel (the GM) that I'm calling and giving him my message but I never get a call back. When I finally just asked what his email was, both conveniently "forgot" his email in that moment so offered to either email me it (never received from Jaydon), or offered their own personal email (Levi) and they'll pass on the email to him, which I've never had a response to either. Funny enough my friend called last week and pretended to be interested in buying a car and got Miguel on the phone right away. So they obviously are either not passing on the message or their process for anyone unhappy is to block everything from Miguel, or Miguel simply just doesn't care as they already made their money and don't think repeat customers or their reputation is important. Please don't make my mistake, I will never buy a car from here again, and will hope anyone who does makes sure to get it checked outside of them prior to signing anything. They know they won once you've signed that you are buying it "as is". I hope the karma they all get in their lives for doing business this way doesn't hit them as hard as this financial decision has hit me, and if it does they get more support than they offer. read more

I originally posted this review months ago, but these clowns refused to let us leave the lot with the car until I deleted it. But guess what? I'm done playing along. Back in October, we tried to buy a 2018 Dodge Durango. The entire process was an embarrassing circus. First trip out there? A total disaster. The car was at their Seattle location -- fine -- but nobody could find the damn keys. So they stuffed me, my co-buyer, and Leon into another car and made us drive 30 minutes to Seattle. We get there, the car's sitting there running with the hood up, and guess what? Still no key! We sat around for over an hour while they rekeyed the car, after telling them over and over that we were on a tight schedule. We finally get back to Lynnwood, and Leon hands us off to Julian, who might be the worst "salesman" I've ever met. Rude, smug, condescending, and acted like we were garbage because we didn't want to pay $900/month for a car that wasn't worth half that. My co-buyer called him out, and we left. I posted a review (which they later bullied me into deleting), and the manager calls me, apologizing, telling me Julian's "new" and they've had "multiple complaints" but are "working with him." Translation: they don't care. Any decent manager would have fired him. The manager swore up and down that everything was good to go, we were both approved for the loan, we'd get the price we agreed on, and they'd mail us the second key with the plates. We go back Monday to finish the deal. Enter Miguel -- fake-nice until it was time to sign. Before I could put pen to paper, he tells me, "I can't let you sign anything until you verbally agree to delete your review before you leave with the car." Seriously? You're blackmailing customers now? Fine, I agreed -- only because I thought we were getting what we were promised. After signing everything, Miguel had the nerve to tell me "You're not f*ing leaving until you show me you deleted the post." He swore at me in front of my co-buyer, who was just as shocked as I was. And then he forced us to take a picture with him in front of the car after I said no multiple times. But wait, it gets worse. We get home, and I check the paperwork -- and surprise! Only my name is on the loan, not my co-buyer's. They flat-out lied. I called them, no answer. Called the lienholder, and they told me, "This was the only way they could approve the loan." So now I'm stuck paying for a car I don't even drive. Oh, and that second key they swore they'd send? Still don't have it. The second I text about it, Miguel ghosts me. But funny how he keeps sending spam texts asking when I'm ready to buy again. And the final kick in the teeth: when we got the car home, the car we had inspected just a few days before -- with only minor dings -- was now trashed. Scratches all over the hood like someone took sand paper to it, part of the taillight smashed, a whole fog light completely kicked out and the entire driver's side keyed. Retaliation from these shady losers? Looks like it. Bottom line: this place is scummy, dishonest, and full of liars who bully and manipulate customers, then retaliate when they don't get their way. I'm now paying out of pocket to get the car rekeyed because they're holding my second key hostage. Stay far, far away from this joke of a dealership. Here is an account of my HORRIBLE experience trying to purchase my daughter's 1st car at Daytona Motors. Its a long text but I assumed future potential customers of this dealership would be appreciative of the details. After finding a really good deal advertised on Daytona's website on a 2012 gray BMW X5, I sent them a message using the website's automated system asking if the car was available. I almost immediately received a text message from salesperson Levi confirming not only that the car was available, but that it also was in really good condition, no issues of any kind. Great, I thought, then proceeded to schedule an appointment with to check out the car, which at this point I was essentially considering protocol given the great remarks about the car Levi continued to provide via text messages. Took the next day off and headed to the dealership with my wife ready to make a deal. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by a different sales person Roman, saying Levi was busy at the moment. No worries, I thought... About 20min goes by and Levi shows up saying the car is a different lot 1 mile down the road and Roman was going to drive me and my wife there and that would give me a chance to drive the car back as part of the test drive. Great I thought. Well, we get to the other lot and where is the car??? As Roman (doing a good job BTW) goes into the office to grab the keys, I wander around looking for a gray BMW X5 that matches the VIN of the one on the website ad, but cannot find it. Roman comes by with a set of keys assuring me the car is in that lot so we both go back looking. Eventually we found the car that matched the keys, which turns out they were for a different gray BMW X5, a 2013. After some initial confusion, we concluded Levi had given Roman the wrong VIN number to go fetch, despite the multiple messages the day before and earlier that day where I specifically asked Levi to confirm the VIN number was for the car I was seeing in the website, and off course the obvious model year. At this point Roman and I could not locate the correct X5, concluded it was not at this lot and headed back to the main lot to talk to Levi. Within just a couple of minutes of arriving, Roman comes back and tells me the car I was looking for (and had been assured by Levi multiple times was available and in great condition) was not in their lot, in fact the car had been sent to a shop to have its transmission replaced (!!!) and multiple other issues fixed because it was in such a bad shape it could not be shown to customers. Whaatt?? What about the ad on the website with the pretty pictures and nice description talking about its great condition? Was that just a bait to bring customers to the dealer? Well, I asked to speak to Levi (since he had not come out to talk to me until this point) to try to figure out what was going on... Levi then confirmed the car that I wanted, and still has an active ad on the website and had talked to him about for 2 days, was never available, but not to worry (!!) , they had another gray 2013 BMW X5 (the one Levi sent Roman to show me), for more $$ off course, that he was sure I would love!! HA! the switch!! And I am not making this up, Levi tried to convince me this was not a bait and switch situation but its pretty hard not to go there given the whole initial court and then the offer to take a more expensive car, so I had to say that is exactly what happened. A this point I decided to cut my time loses and left the dealer to never come back. Not a single apology was offered, at least for the time I wasted visiting the dealership for a car that was never available. In conclusion, I truly would like to believe this was an honest mistake from a sales person simply getting confused with similar cars being advertised, but the lack of professionalism from Levi in dealing with a customer having a bad experience does not let me assume this was not intentional MO just to bring customers to the dealer. There are some nice cars on the lot and friendly people that work here. Jaden is especially helpful and transparent and I would recommend working with him on the deal. He was not my salesman, but I would request him if I could do it all over again. Do your homework, read these reviews, get car fax, and proceed accordingly. If you're a first time buyer I would take someone with you familiar with the car your looking for so they can look at fluids, codes, battery, ect to make sure you are good to go before closing the deal. This overall is a good place to buy a car but I would be intentional. read more

I don't trust this business! A sales rep, Levi, sent me an appointment confirmation day and time knowing that I live in Portland, Oregon. He also sent me a carfax which I requested. The appointment was set for today, Thursday, 1/16/25 at 1p.m. After driving 3+ hours in the rain approximately 10 mins away from the dealership, I got a text saying that the car was sold. You could just imagine how upset I was. I pulled over to the side of the road and called the business. I spoke to Levi and he claimed that he told me to put a down payment. HE MENTIONED NO SUCH STATEMENT verbally by phone or on the email confirmation and text. He lied, so I called back to speak to the manager, but he called Levi to explain and again he lied. I can not trust this business and I refuse to get mad and upset because I have high blood pressure. My only recourse in this matter is to give them a Yelp review. This cesspool of eels is selling extraordinarily defective vehicles and refusing to honor basic human decency and fairness. After recently acquiring a 2022 Tesla model X I drove at home and parked it overnight. Fortunately, it rained that night. As I went out to get into the car the next morning it was obvious that all four doors leaked badly. There was at least a half a cup of water all over the seats and who knows how much it soaked into the floor by then. When I contacted the dealership about my concerns, I was completely ignored. After 48 hours had passed again began to contact the dealership demanding an explanation. Finally, I was able to get Daniel the manager on the phone. Surprisingly he announced that all Tesla's leaked and I would just have to deal with it. I explained to him that it was utterly absurd that he would sell me a car for $58,000 that clearly leaked badly from all four doors and must've been doing so for quite some time. He was unmoved. Next, I explained that the vehicle was actually for my father who is currently on multiple immunosuppressant drugs as he struggles with a devastating auto immune disease. This will be the last car that he owns and in his compromised condition, I told him it was terribly inappropriate to insist that he spend his last days in a molding car. This is when Daniel cross the line from being simply a dishonest used car salesman to becoming unnecessarily, cruel and contentious. He began to make personal attacks and actually make fun of me. I generally expect terrible behavior from creatures of his profession but he actually seemed to be enjoying himself as he laughed at me, imagining all the money he had dishonestly appropriated from me. He did not realize that I have not made final payment. Once I explained to him that he would never receive a penny for this vehicle from me and that I had contacted numerous lawyers and understood Washington state warranty of merchantability laws. He realized he had no other choice than to receive the vehicle back and refund me my deposit. Do not work with these people. There is something broken inside. When in the dealership he assured me that his awesome mechanic was his cousin & if we had any problems, to call him immediately... he would "always do right by us" Well, that guy NEVER called me back. I called one last time before contacting my attorney and the dude that answered the phone (not Miguel, not Jarrod) told me and I quote... "it's your problem, you bought the car AS IS". Great service and attention to customer needs/concerns. Their mechanic let us do a deep inspection on the vehicle in the shop including checking codes and looking under the truck. I'm sure this isn't the norm, but us being from a mechanic/dealership background, they obliged with no hesitation. We then worked with Miguel Rodriguez in their sales department. I purchased two Jeep Wranglers within a year. A fully loaded 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara from a small Dealer in Tacoma, WA, in June of 2024 and a Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe from Daytona in February of 2025. Both Jeeps had one previous owner and were bought in an auction/from another dealer. For the 2017, I drove the car then the next day called the salesman and made an offer over the phone for just slightly below KBB dealer sales value. We briefly negotiated and I bought the car at the bottom of the KKB dealer sales range. The dealer said they would replace the door seals after I bought the Jeep since they were on order and had not arrived yet. They also provided a full tank of gas. When got home, I could tell the Jeep was fully serviced as the dealer promised. The oil was fresh, the filter was new (and high quality), and all the fluids were topped off. Shortly after purchase, the ABS sensor on the front, passenger side wheel failed. I called the dealer, and they said they would send their mechanic to my house (1 hr away from the dealership) to replace the sensor and install the door seals. They provided the mechanics number for me to set it up. After the mechanic came to my house and repaired the Jeep, it has been running great. I feel I got a good deal on that Jeep and the great dealer service. For the 2021 Jeep I bought from Daytona, I arrived to look at the Jeep and the gas engine battery was dead, the electric battery was below 1%, and it was out of gas. The several salesmen had to push the car across the lot to their shop to put gas in it and to charge the battery to get it started. It also had the check engine light on. I drove the car but did not make an offer. The next day the salesman called to say the check engine light was due low fuel pressure because it was of gas and a had a dead battery. They had looked at the Jeep, charged the gas engine battery, and the electric battery and asked if I wanted to test drive it again, which I did. A day later, I called the dealer and made an offer which was at low KBB dealer sales price (which is $3K above the trade-in value). They said they don't negotiate over the phone, and I needed to come in. When I arrived, the Jeep was still on the gas engine battery charger and on the EV charger. We negotiated for a while and settled on a price in the middle of the KBB dealer sales price range (KBB Fair Market Price). They told me was getting a good deal but obviously I was getting a fair market price. I picked up the car the next day when I brought them a check. The car had less than 1/4 tank of gas when I left the dealer. When I got it home, I had to service the car since Daytona had not (though they said it was serviced, and the oil was changed). The oil was completely black and the filter was obvious old (the computer also said the oil had not been changed in a while). I drove the car for two days, then it sat for two days. After two days of sitting, the gas engine battery was completely dead. Since I was driving the car for a trip that night, I had to spend $200 that night on a new battery from O'Reilly's so I could leave (O'Reilly's confirmed the battery was dead). I called Daytona the next Monday (I was still out of town) and asked them if they would reimburse me for the battery (I did not ask for any re-imbruement for the $100 I spent on changing the oil, oil filter, air filter, and topping off all the fluids which ALL were below MIN). They said IF I would have told them prior to buying a new battery, they would have given me one from their shop, but they would not reimburse me. They said I brought the Jeep "as is" and they had no obligations to me after the sale. In my opinion, this is pretty poor service (zero servicing of the vehicle as promised, leaving me with less than 1/4 tank of gas, and not even offering to even partially reimburse me for a problem they were aware of). Read the other reviews to make your own opinion of this place. I can say the two salesmen I worked with were very friendly and easy to work with. IF they had actually serviced the Jeep and re-imbursed me some amount for the battery, I would give them a higher score. Pretty low hanging fruit in my opinion for them to get a good review which says something about this place. read more

The other 1 star reviews are legit. I know from personal experience. You need to STAY AWAY from this place if you value your money. I bought 2 cars from this place. The only reason I bought another one is because they told me they were under new ownership. So I thought maybe things wouldn't be so shady this time around. Nope. TOTALLY WRONG! For the first car I bought, I was coaxed into buying an extended warranty, which was $3500. The car ended up breaking down just 2 months after I bought it. I took it to a few repair shops and the average was $1200. I was fine with that, considering the warranty should cover the cost. HOWEVER, I was told there was NO WARRANTY! I called the company that my paperwork listed as the warranty provider. They told me, Your vehicle is not under warranty. I called the dealership to let them know that I had NO WARRANTY even though I paid an extra $3500 for coverage. Despite them screwing up, it took me MONTHS to get my money back for the warranty they NEVER processed! Fast forward. I saw a car that I liked at this same dealership (Daytona). I was told they were under new ownership as I mentioned earlier. Thinking things would be different this time, I took a test drive with someone named Levi. During the drive I heard knocking from the suspension, unusual wind noise, and clunking. I brought it up during the drive and he told me......It's just wear and tear. You know how used vehicles are. It's just normal. If anything is seriously wrong, we'll take care of you brother! Don't worry! I ended up buying the vehicle, believing the song and dance they gave me. As I drove the vehicle home, the knocking noise got louder. I took it to Les Schwab for a suspension inspection. This was their diagnosis: All of your struts are bad. The control arms are bad. The ball joints are bad. We're surprised your wheels didn't fall off. The brakes are bad. You only have 2mm of pad left. The motor mounts are bad. This is what's causing the clunking noise you're hearing. All in all, the estimate for the suspension repairs was over $2000! Les Schwab doesn't fix motor mounts, so I had to call other repair shops for estimates on those. The average estimate was $1400-1700!!!! While at Les Schwab, the representative called Daytona explaining to them what they found. Daytona only offered to contribute $300 towards the bill!!! Are you f'n kidding me?! I only had the car for less than a WEEK! And this isn't just "wear and tear" issues. These are SAFETY ISSUES! This car should NEVER have been allowed to leave the lot with these issues! I have had this car for less than a damn month, and this is a list of ADDITIONAL stuff I found during this time: The rear hatch doesn't open. You need to use the stupid remote to open it. The rear window on the hatch doesn't open. You need to use the remote to open this too. The 3rd row seats latches are broken, so you can't fold them down. So you can't load anything or haul anything that requires a bit of cargo room. The rear driver's side door doesn't open from the inside or out. The driver's side rear window trim is broken and there is a gap allowing water to leak into the car. There is also a leak in the front end. After a day of rain, the passenger side front floor is COMPLETELY SOAKED! The front passenger side window is loose. I took the door panel off thinking the window regulator just needed to be tightened. What I found was, there were actually pieces of WOOD wedged into the rails to keep the window in place!! You can't even make this stuff up. The driver's side front seat motor is dead. The seat is stuck in the position it's in. I tried calling Daytona to seek some help for all of this. I got Levi on the phone. He said, My manager is out, but I'll have him call you as soon as he gets back. Guess what, No call back. I tried texting. Guess what, no reply. I'm a hair away from getting my Lawyers to deal with this mess. They sold me an ABSOLUTE LEMON! And mind you, I have had this vehicle for LESS THAN A MONTH! I'm afraid of what I will find next! If I find one more damn thing wrong with this vehicle, I'm contacting my lawyers. I have the assessment from Les Schwab, and I have documented all of this crap on video as I find each issue. The only reason I haven't done this yet is because I'm pretty mechanically savvy, so I can fix a lot of this myself. But, this is f'n ridiculous! If you insist on buying a car from this shady place, GET THE CAR INSPECTED FIRST! Don't waste your hard earned money on a car they just try and pass off as being "good". You'll regret it. Trust me. Let me start by saying that I love my car NOW after all the repairs that had to be done. It began with a fiasco just trying to locate the car I wanted to look at and we drove to ALL 3 LOCATIONS with the seller trying to find it which is ridiculous and terrible communications. Over 5 hours later and too much pressure, we bought the car - she's beautiful! However, I had to take it back to them because it broke down 4 days after purchase with a failed transmission. The Nissan dealership I took it to actually found burnt transmission fluid AND metal shavings!! After being shown the paperwork on the findings and fighting with them to pay for the service, they DID replace the transmission but I was out of a car for almost 2 weeks and had to make the 2 hour drive there and back each time because they refused to just pay the repair shop I already took it to. Then, after getting it back, still had troubles and a week later it left me stranded AGAIN, this time a failed alternator! Luckily so much time had passed that my warranty was about to kick in, so I waited without my car again and towed it to the Nissan dealership where they had to replace the battery and the alternator and my back brakes were so bad they had to be done as well. The brakes and battery were of course not warrantied because the place you buy your car from should never sell you a car in that condition in the first place. What a nightmare! They say they know each car and that it has passed all these checks before they put it out in their inventory. That is either a complete lie or they just sell cars to customers knowing the condition. Either way is deplorable and unprofessional. I would NEVER recommend this place, it's been a nightmare for me. :( read more

Over a year ago, I purchased a used Tesla for $60K--a price that was extremely inflated, especially considering even brand-new Teslas weren't selling for that much at the time. Now, Kelley Blue Book values it at under $20K. I came into the deal with no negative equity and decent credit, yet I still ended up in this terrible situation. I purchased a vehicle October 10th, the 20th of October the breaks went out. The dealership will not rectify this safety issue as I have posted the facts regarding my experience online. Today I took my vehicle to a very reputable Lexus dealer and found out the engine has a massive oil leak that will cost $7k to fix. No inspection report done on the vehicle per the salesman's response after the purchase, they were told the brakes were low at time of purchase from another dealership yet did no safety inspection and sold it as is with no brakes and a massive oil leak. When I notified them there only concern is the online review. If you purchase from this dealership please do your homework. As a single mom/ human I expected at minimum integrity and maturity. At the very least compensation for a brake job after 10 days of owning a car they sold. read more

Warning, this dealership is crooked as they come and fraudsters! Stay away!! I bought a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 32,000mi on it from them three weeks ago. The salesman (Julian Tapscott) turned me from the Jeep Grand Cherokee turned me from the vehicle I made an offer on to this 2018 Grand Cherokee by telling me the Jeep I made an offer on had sold, and claiming that this 2018 Jeep was in near perfect condition with lower miles and had all the options of the one I had made the offer on. This was a lie, and despite being priced $10K more than the Jeep I made the offer on, the 2018 did not have a navigation system or moon roof as the salesman claimed and was stated in the ad for the vehicle. Because the Jeep appeared to be in really good condition, I purchased it. The vehicle ran great for less than 48 hours before it would not start and I had to have it towed to a shop due to the vehicle cranking but failing to start. It appeared it was a problem with the key fob / proximity system. It was inspected by a Jeep Master Technician who determined that there was evidence tampering with the key fob system and either someone knew about the starting problem and attempted to fix it or they were attempting to conceal the problem. In addition, the Master Technician determined that there was a hole in the coolant tank, it had been compromised and needed to be replaced at a cost in excess of $600. The Master Technician said that there was no way that the dealers mechanics could have missed this during their inspection when the vehicle was taken in on trade, and that the dealerships mechanics had clearly taken steps to conceal this mechanical issue so that the vehicle could be sold without making any repairs. While he could not say for sure that Daytona were the culprit in terms of tampering with the key fob system, he has no doubt that they new about the coolant tank and the need for repairs there. When I called Daytona, they were no help at all and did not care because they had made the sale and this $30K piece of junk was now my problem. The last contact I had with Daytona, they were aware the vehicle was not running and had been towed to a dealership, and I have heard nothing from them since. Having had this 30K pile of junk for three weeks, it has run less than it has been able to be driven, I have spent over $1000 trying to fix all the problems that Daytona went to the effort of concealing so that they could make a sale and let the buyer fix the problems they were clearly aware of, and I have a huge monthly car payment on a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee yard art. Never buy a vehicle from Daytona. You will regret it!! read more
