False advertising! Received text and voicemail from Aisha from ZAG Motors Lynnwood. She said I could come out to their dealership to view a specific car. I told her there was a second car at their Everett location I wanted to look at. She confirmed that she would have both cars at the Lynnwood location on Sunday, 8/3/25 for me to look at in person. I told her I'd be there between 10 - 10:30 a.m. , and she confirmed that day and time would work for her and that I should ask for her by name. When I arrived, a new sales lady told me that Aisha only makes the internet appointments and that she would be helping me instead of Aisha. She then told me that the first car was actually sold two weeks ago but that "We don't update the website so Aisha didn't know I sold it". Then she proceeds to tell me that the second car was not, in fact, moved to the Lynnwood location like Aisha had promised me. Wow, so we drove from Renton to Lynnwood for absolutely nothing. Bought a used 2012 Buick Verano from ZAG Motors a little over a year ago. The year since did not age well. At the time of purchase, we asked to see the carfax report, which was provided and indicated a clean history. Within a short time after purchase, the car started surging while stopped at lights and in drive throughs, and around 8 months started giving check engine lights that indicated timing chain and oil flow issues. Estimates for repairs were near $3k. We decided to trade it for something new.... Upon providing the registration and VIN info to the new car dealership, they informed us that the car had a branded title. Further investigation proved that the vehicle had major structural damage due to an accident. The Carfax shown by ZAG had to have been fabricated. We paid a little over $10k for a car that lasted 1 year and were given $750 for its trade value. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THESE CROOKS. read more

Before I kick off this rather scathing review, I must give the salesman, James, a full five star rating. He remained an epic gentleman from start to finish and went out of his way to make things as right as they could possibly be, given that the situation was way out of his hands. I hope that he screenshots this review and takes it to another dealership where his courtesy and kindness can be better appreciated. So... once upon a time, I decided to buy a car. It's a harrowing experience, even for the most noble of self-declared queens (aka: me). I was prepared for whatever would be thrown at me and prepared to leave the lot if I sensed any shenanigans. But I picked this dealership because my friend had come here and they took pretty good care of him so I figured, 'cool, round two?'. Well... sadly... I did indeed have to leave the lot, after days of negotiation, when the owner flip flopped like fish outta water. When I turn into Professor Umbridge (the pink lady) from Harry Potter, something has gone terribly, terribly wrong. James (Mr. 5 Stars) spent a lot of time with me... we looked at so many cars and he humored my need to drive at least 5 of them, complete with my notes and my mom on my VIP call list. Yes, I was a little bit high maintenance. A big purchase is super tough! I found The One... I named her Iggy. She was fun and zippy and pretty and everything I wanted in a car. I took her to my mechanic and .... She had an oil leak and black coolant...which is super bad I guess. Sadness kicked in. How bad an oil leak? We needed a second look to know for sure. Leo (Mr. 1 Star) told me that they would work with me, they would fix the things that needed fixing, they would be straight and clear and fair. I took Iggy in for a second check. The oil leak was minor... soooo minor. With some new coolant and a $200 piece, she's be good as new... all said and done, about $750 in repairs. I pranced back to the dealership with the good news. I was willing to sign right away if they would help fix the things. And that's when Leo turned into an undignified peasant. He back tracked on his word, stumbled and tripped on his nonexistent honor, and left me utterly aghast in disbelief as he told me to my face, 'I didn't say any of those things.' See, I don't play those kind of games and when a man (or woman) sacrifices their honor to make an extra buck, thinking that my emotions would give way and I'd sign those papers... how dare you...you sniveling cockroach of a human. In front of his salesmen (and poor James), I tried to maintain my dignity but it was very hard. I remember yelling but my dear friend, who was with me the whole time, was adamant that I did not. I'll go with that. Needless to say, I walked out and I left Iggy behind, poor girl. It was hard and even now, several weeks later, I'm obviously still mad enough to write a scathing review. The story doesn't end badly though because I did find a new car from another dealership and she makes me very happy. Zag can just zig zag themselves into the Pit of Despair... bloody peasants. My family has been purchasing vehicles from Zag motors for a number of years. Most of our purchases have gone as well as can be expected when buying a used vehicle. However our last purchase guarantees that we will never purchase as much as a bicycle from Zag. Our daughter purchased a vehicle from them less than six months ago. At that time we brought to the attention of the salesperson that the vehicle had some shaking when accelerating. He said "no problem" and to bring it back and they would take care of it. We took the vehicle back twice and the problem was not fixed. The third time they said "sorry there is nothing that we can do". After that we took the vehicle to our mechanic who informed us that there was "structural damage" to the vehicle and it probably could not be repaired safely. He would however attempt to make the car as safe to drive as possible. After almost 2K in additional out of pocket expenditures the vehicle is still not fixed and cannot be safely driven. Zag was quite aware that the car was unsafe and chose to sell it to the public anyway. We paid off the vehicle in full which was in excess of 12K. When we took the vehicle back to Zag to sell back to them at half the purchase price; they then said.."we can only give you 2K because of the Structural damage". The very same damage that they sold the car to us with!!! My daughter is a single working Mother with a child. She did not have 12K to just give away to these people!! She is now left with a vehicle that is unsafe to drive and a 12K deficit in her bank account!! Do NOT buy from them under any circumstances!! They are unscrupulous and care absolutely nothing about the safety of those that they scam!!! read more

Alright... Zag was able to make the buying process an easy jiffy one thanks to Josh. However, let me tell you... I bought my car had it for almost two weeks then into the shop it went and I still don't have it til this day. I bought a 2013 Audi Q5 with low miles with no bad history. It's been a PAIN to handle with warranty and with Audi. The warranty company only covered my rental for about a month and I have to pay other days out of pocket because insurance only covers if there's a claim with an accident. What happened if you ask? A few days after purchasing the car, I have had a notice from my car to fill up my oil. Which is odd because they stated they checked "everything". So I texted Josh to let him know. No response. I went and got my oil change. Week later, received notification again for oil. Texted Josh, no response. So I'm guessing there's a leak and this is something Zag needs to handle since I literally JUST bought the car. Josh didn't respond. He only responded when it came to buying the car. Nothing after until it got serious because I was on my way to another oil change to Audi and the car officially broke down. Thought it was an oil matter but no.. It was a piston and valve matter. The car wouldn't turn on even after adding three quarts of oil. So I had to call a tow truck, paid out of pocket for. And Audi has had my car since almost the beginning of November for maintenance. Then they were being a hassle to deal with so I had to contact the CEO of Audi plus AudiTalks to get my car the proper attention it needed because they did not want to deal with my situation as priority. The decision between the warranty company and Audi was to ensure it was just those two matters that affected the vehicle. So they had to do a whole tear down and the warranty had to bring in their people to look for themselves to double check so there's no possible of future repairs of the similar matter. Then that's what they were going to do, just fix that. THEN.... the warranty company decided they want to replace the entire engine.... So now I have to wait for parts to arrive and with holiday.. many mechanics took PTO. So I was advised that there's a possibility for it to be done "next week". I've been trying to get in contact with Leo (Zag manager) to possibly help me with at least HALF of what I will be paying for this rental from Audi... he hasn't responded. I have messaged Josh to ask Leo to contact me. And I even called the store to ask his coworkers to let him know to call me about my Q5. No response and I am becoming frustrated. If you read this far, and dealt with a common situation please DM me.. I have a question. Be advised, if you buy a car from any place like this- purchase warranty. Never buying a car here or recommending anyone to. They're not helping me with this mess and a single mother of two. They didn't care to help me getting into a rental. Zero- I would rate this place a zero. Why? On August 31,2021 I came to the dealership during the day around noon with my son. I was looking to finance a 2015 Hyundai and spent four hours trying to do paper work. But then apparently I didn't get approved the first time so we left the dealership and came home around 5pm after taking the bus. I got a phone call at 7:17pm from the zag dealership from josh he called me and said that I got approved for the 2015 Hyundai and he told me to come down there and I can drive off today he said to me. Then I felt hopeful and excited about what he said because the first time I wasn't approved. hearing this from josh was a great news for me. So for not having a car for long while I have to ask a friend of mine to drive me to the dealership. we got there approximately 8:02pm. Then I wait for awhile for josh to finish with a client.after he finished helping someone else. I found out that the car I was approved for was not on the same lot in Lynnwood. Come to find out the car was at another lot at their second location in Everett. So we drove there and back with the vehicle. We proceed with the estimates of the car. While we were discussing business I gave them my down payment in cash. We start to set up insurance for the vehicle and all of the sudden they said that it wasn't approved- some how the offer from the computer screen was missing. Josh had stood up and went to Ali's office (manager). They both gave me back my down payment and said the bank didn't approve because of change of mileage. I felt disappointed and taken advantage of as well. I then had to call a friend to come pick me up. They had me there for hours leading me own a hopeful car purchase and instead this was a nightmare. I was in distressed after the owner was kicking me out at 11:00pm. I wasted my day trying to get a car from this dealership and get let down. I let the owner know that I was waiting for my neighbor to come pick me up from north Seattle. I also didn't feel safe standing outside of Hwy 99 at night. He told me I had to leave and wait outside. No regard at all or care for customers nor did he care as a person. As I was telling him my neighbor was coming soon. He then insisted I leave. Keep in mind I just spent most of my day dealing with this business I thought it would be common curtesy for him to stay until my friend arrived. He then threaten to call the police on me if I didn't leave. He then called the police on me. This made me scared. I didn't feel safe and felt very intimated. I let the police know that I was there all day and the owner sat there quite. So I left feeling like this place doesn't value customer, didn't feel right dealing with a uncomfortable situation. I didn't think it was right for the owners to deceive me in thinking that I was approved for a car, and calling me in urgency to come in and sign papers. They knew that I was single parent in need of a vehicle. The whole situation was charade. This was beyond humiliating to me. And then have the cops called on on top of that. I bought my van from this place two years ago, and if you know me well enough, you know all of the problems we had with this van. Two weeks after we bought it, the brakes went completely out. No noise nothing. They also put my contact info in incorrectly and we had issues with our lender, which they also never told me who it was so I was unable to contact them. The transmission then went out. The entire two years we had the car, the brakes went out twice and the transmission twice as well as a coolant leak. The dealership claimed it was wear and tear in the two weeks I had it. I'm not dumb, brakes don't completely deteriorate in two weeks but thanks. My sister went cat shopping two weeks ago and we did not realize until we were told that this was the same dealership, different location and name, but the same. I explained to the salesman (Jose) about my experience and he promised that since they own it all now, it wasn't anything like that. My sister purchased a car from them. Two weeks later the brakes go out. She called them upset and they're a joke, the salesman actually told her that he ONLY called back because of my experience. She got the brakes fixed at her own expense, all before her first payment is due. And they realized her cv axle is crap. The dealership has deleted my reviews and comments but again, if you know me, I'm not going down quietly. Spread the word. It's been a few years since I purchased my 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 from this place. It had a check engine light that was a turbo issue when I got it that was infrequent when I got it. Purchased the insurance through them. The check engine light then stayed on a few months later for the turbo. My usual mechanic said the turbo needed to be replaced. The dodge dealership said the turbo needed to be replaced. The insurance claim person said it wasn't going to be covered unless it was broken. So essentially they wanted to me to destroy the truck before they would cover it. So I replaced it out of pocket. That was just shy of $3,000. I should of wrote a review then. Fast forward to a month ago. I wanted to replace the fender flairs. I go to take one off and both of the rear wheel wells are completely rusted out. The flairs were glued to the body and I can't even replace them as they have nothing to screw to. Of course this wasn't brought to my attention. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about all this but figured someone might find it helpful. Yay rusty truck with terrible in-house insurance. Thanks guys! RUN but run to Sound National Lending in Renton if you have challenged credit. They will help you and treat you like a human being. They'll even put you in a car that goes up hills! The office "management". Classic lemon-lot type management. I don't like leaving negative reviews, I've been fighting with myself not to do this, but I have to. Bought two cars from this dealership in August, 2018. Very nice people, but when we sat down to do paperwork with them. They kept running off to help other people. We sat there for a few hours (between buying two cars) to fill out paperwork while they attended to new buyers. My husband finally had to ask for coffee. No one provided anything for us to drink. Once the deal was done and closed. We went along our way. A few days later, I called them up because I had forgotten my "good to go" pass in my old 2013 Huyandi that I had traded. I was assured that they would hold it for me in my file, until I was able to get down there. That weekend I went down there to get my pass and was told that they no longer had it. I was pretty upset driving 40 minutes to find out that they didn't have it. Fast forward to January, 2019. I cancelled the extended warranty on the car that I had bought. Apparently, it didn't cover the damages that they didn't tell me was wrong with the car. (no heat!) So, $2,300 damages later I went down on Friday, 1/10/19 to the Everett office and asked Kayla to fill out a form for the insurance company. She did. I called the insurance company, who isn't open on the weekends on Monday, 1/14/2019. They had not received it. I contacted Kayla again and asked if she would resend it again and send it to my email. I will NO longer do business with them. I have also bought another car, through another company, who I am very pleased with. When getting my quote for the $2,200 in damage. The manager was telling me that when his daughter had bought a car from there, that within 24 hours, her car engine had gone wrong and she was out of a car. When she asked for help from Zagg, they said "nope! can't help you" and turned her on her way. The manager also went into greater detail that I wasn't the first case that this has happened too and that they currently have 7 pending lawsuits against them. I have told people to not do business with Zagg! I have heard that they have changed their name also several times because of all of the negative reviews that they get. To who'm it may concern about a week ago, my wife & I drove into your establishment. We were greeted by Enrique, one of their associates he showed us around the facility. He allowed us to look around the lot. Before we made a decision, without any hassle he took his time with us. What we liked most about Enrique, is that there was no pressure for us to buy a vehicle from him like most dealerships. We were able to take a vehicle out for a drive. Now my car had just taken a tow, after had it for 18 years. We finally saw one that we liked, & were able to drive home with it extremely satisfied. One of the employees was driving one of the dealerships cars like a crazy man south on Hwy 99 from Airport road to the dealership on Sept 10th around 5pm. Saw him flip off one guy he cut off shortly after that. Drove in the parking side (no lane) until he got almost to the Shell Station, then zig zagged back in forth in different lanes until he got to the dealership. I watched him park the car, then bs with the other salesman there, curious I drove by then came back and pulled in and he asked me if he could help me, and I just acknowledged and left. So we bought two cars from them within two days one after the other and my son bought his first car from them he's 18 years old we gave them $2000 cash. We were concerned because it had like a little funny smell they said if there was anything wrong we can bring it back it was no problem. First thing in the morning I came and bought a Mercedes from them at the same time we had called them in the morning and I came in there letting them know that there's really a problem with the car we were given the runaround about bringing the car back finally when we did it ended up being the clutch they blamed it on the fact that because they screwed up on the financing because apparently my son didn't make a whole Lot of money well no duh he's only 18 and just started full-time but they knew that when they did the financing I told them if that was such an issue why did they allow him to take the car home because they were too much in a hurry to make that sale that's all they care about. But financing the car that's not our fault that's the problem of the sales guy. He should've had everything together before he continued with the sale that is his job we are there as a customer we know nothing of that. I spent over an hour in the financing office and it took them five days for us to find out if they were even going to help replace it but it took us to call them but his answer to me was he said he had no room for any money to fix it he said we bought it as is. They were only going to put 600 bucks towards it.They knew that there was a problem before we bought it they told them that they knew this and then they wanted us to pay over $1000 to fix it. Buyer Beware- Typical Skeezy Used Car Lot. My boyfriend and I went to look at a vehicle he had seen online, he scheduled an appointment with a guy named Levi (He was great btw, new to the company just started like two weeks ago). When we arrived we were directed to the waiting area as Levi was with a guest. We went to see if we could look at the advertised car while waiting it was nowhere to be found. Once we were with Levi he informed us that he believes the car was sold the day before and said he would have let us know but he said they don't always get that information if he wasn't the one that sold a particular vehicle- which ok fine, we were ok with looking at other cars if it fell within his needs/wants. So he settles on this Mustang under the condition they could get the numbers right etc. So Levi leaves us at this juncture to work with the finance manager Adonis (or Adontis** not sure, Cuban guy who is always on his phone instead of engaging) he then does all the wheeling and dealing the way skeezy car sales people do, "can you put more money down?" "Are you interested in this/that...?" "the banks can only do this" basically all the normal BS they give you to try and get you to do what will benefit them the most. After we signed all the paper work we left pretty satisfied with all the conditions. So 3 days pass and someone calls to say "oh we need you to come in to sign more bank paperwork"... ok fine. So we go back in and Levi seems confused to see us. The front desk reception has no idea why we are there and Adontis is acting like he needs to get the manager to find out why they called us in. He finally comes out after 20 minutes of waiting and then says "so here's the deal, the bank won't deal with you etc etc" giving all this BS and then proceeds to say but we found another bank that will only put you in a newer car (he then tries to describe a car my BF already passed on SEVERAL times as it was NOT a V8- literally reiterated that we were not desperate for a car and if it was not a V8 then he would wait and keep his car) but no they still want to ask the dumb question of if he wants that car, My BF entertained it and went out to look at it again but ultimately came to the same decision, that we would just take his car back and wait if he couldn't have the car we originally left with. But of course Adontis wanted to keep trying to push the car and then says but you would need a cosigner for it -_- NO- we already said we were not trying to jump through a million hoops for the original car WHY WOULD WE DO IT FOR THE ONE WE DON'T EVEN WANT?! and then even went as far to say if he took his old car back that the bank he was currently financed with was no longer going to work with him, basically saying that they wouldn't stay within their contract now. This sent me off the edge because I know how ILLEGAL that would be and how foolish he was to even say that to us. At that point he just got cut off and the manager came out to apologize and said he tried his "hardest" which I am sure he did because his signs on his business boast guaranteed approval. I said that to him and his response was "welll it goes both ways, because it can always be approved with the right down payment" basically confirming his signs are there to just give false hope or corner people into giving you cash that doesn't exist. There were many opportunities that this business could have delivered a better customer service experience even if we couldn't get the car. I don't expect them to be miracle workers but I do expect them to be honest, upfront and real! We wanted a car, had they went about this in a more professional matter we may have still been able to do business with them. Also, if management reads this and wants to give some kind of lame generic response/or even get combative, please don't waste your time. More advise is to make sure your business manager isn't sitting there texting while you are speaking to him. Its rude and annoying. You are not successful enough to be a complete jerk. STAY AWAY from this corrupt dealership!!! Came into this dealership looking for a 2017 Ioniq I saw posted online. The associate there named Luis gave me a test drive and everything looked good. He told me that the car had never been in an accident and everything was running well. I decided to buy and during the paperwork they glossed over the gap insurance and "optional fees" that were listed as such, but when asked, they said that I had to pay them the optional fees. My credit score at the time was a 770 and they gave me a 6.99% APR rate. They said that was the best rate they can get me and if I tried to find a better rate with a different lender they would run my credit multiple times until it dropped by 30 points. I asked them how I would get the car home and they told me to drive the new car home and leave my old car on the lot. I told them I didn't feel safe leaving it there and would rather take my old car back home with me and have the new car delivered. The associate James bragged to me earlier that they delivered some car sales hours away to their new owner's homes so I thought it wouldn't be a problem for them to deliver mine. They told me that my old car would be safe to leave there and to take the new car home with me, and they would send someone to deliver my old car back to me that night. After I signed all the paperwork, Luis changed his mind and told me that he would bring back my old car the following day. I came back the following day and Luis complained that he did not want to bring back my car that day, so he said he would bring it back the following week. I called the following week, and the dealership said that Luis was not working that day and that only Luis could return my car. I got a call from them the following week after that on the day that I was going to get my gap insurance taken off, and they told me that my car had been broken into. I drove to the dealership and found that the window of my car had been broken and my $500 entertainment system had been stolen along with other items in the car and trunk adding up to over $1000 worth of belongings missing from my vehicle. They told me that they are not liable because leaving my car there is just like leaving my car at the mall. I told them that they were the ones that told me to leave my car there along with my keys and they said that my car would be safe since it would be fenced up. I asked them for the video tape recording, but they said they didn't have any tape, which did not sound right to me being a car dealership with expensive merchandise all around. I finally reached an out of court settlement with them for only a fraction of the expenses that I incurred only after putting pressure on them through the police and My lender Wells Fargo. After all this, my mechanic found multiple second hand parts in the car, which means that it was in a major accident before and was patched up at some time. Stay away from the dealership. Not only are they dishonest, but they will not try and help you when anything might happen to your vehicle. read more

So we've had the car for a year. Purchased the warranty that is available from a 3rd party. The car has had an oil leak from day 1. Should have taken it right back. Heated seats don't work. Numerous things don't work. Found the 2nd key, lost it, the found it again. The 3rd party company they use for warranty work is a JOKE!! they are doing anything and everything to stall the process so we exceed the 36k miles. Day we bought the car we were pressured to do the yelp review and give 5 stars. And when I say pressured, they legit wanted my phone and were going to log in for me. Umm, no.
