We were there and the rest seemed fine so we went ahead with the purchase, despite this obvious failure to disclose. I wish a rating choice was "no stars". I had a 12:00 noon appointment for a service on my Lexus RX 350 (42 months from date of purchase new for a simple 35K service). When I arrived at 11:50 AM, there was approximately 10 cars outside the building (with drivers in their vehicles) waiting to get into the building to reach a service tech representative. There additional vehicles (12+) parked outside with no drivers (I assume left by the owners) for service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After waiting over 30 minutes and advancing 2 car lengths and speaking with a dealership tech outside the building (who had no explanation for the situation other than wait), I left the dealership.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I only made an appointment with Daytona Toyota, as the 35k service is essentially an oil and filter change with tire rotation to avoid the long drive from Palm Coast to Jacksonville for the simple service. we would never buy or have a car serviced by Daytona Toyota. The sales department is extremely deceptive. We brought our red Camry in for service for an airbag light. While in service, my wife to talk to Bryan about purchasing a 2024 white Camry TRD when he found out we have an airbag light. He took $3000 off the price. in the meantime in for service for the light and we were quoted $160.05 hours later the technician came out and said you need a new wiring harness that was gonna cost $6000. The service rep also charge my wife $320 not 160 she was quoted. He said they have free pinstripe. You can pick any design you want. When we went in for the pinstripe, we could not pick out any design we wanted. We only had a choice of two or three. I told Bryan about the service we had for the red Camry and he brought me over to Service to speak to Steve Robinson. Steve Robertson said the next time we come in for service that they'll take $160 off service. I brought my Avalon in for service and they took the $160 off. just recently my wife brought her 2022 super and to have the driver mirror looked at because it did not tilt when it went in reverse. At the beginning, the service tech said oh no that's normal. It doesn't do that. My wife insisted so they brought someone else over and they said oh yes, it is supposed to tilt. Again incompetence , they ordered a new mirror and my wife went to have it installed and lo and behold. They are the wrong mirror so the waste of four hours of my wife's time going back-and-forth and waiting for the car. I would never ever do business with Daytona Toyota unless it was free. read more

I was traveling back to st Augustine from Orlando and I had a flat. I didn't want to drive 100 plus miles on the temporary spare. I was told that my tire wasn't under warranty and as per their tire expert the tire can't be patched or repaired because of the location of the screw. It didn't make sense to me I chose to risk driving the additional 50 miles ( very slowly) and went to my toyota dealership ( Beaver Toyota) in St Augustine and yes my tire Warrenty did expire but the tire was repairable. Worst experience ever! I bought a certified hybrid vehicle that gives me mpg like a non-hybrid. I asked them to test it. And they did find that its not giving the advertised mileage but tried to convince me that its normal. This is my third hybrid car and I am 100% sure that this is not normal. Its suppose to give around 35 mpg and its not even near that. Secondly, they promised a touch-up when I bought the car. And they did a poor job on that as well. The whole driver side feels like someone has spray painted it. Again when I reached out to them regarding this problem they said its because of the car wash you have done. And of course car wash only affected the side they have worked on. Its a privately owned toyota dealership. I am not even hopeful that this comment is going to do anything. But I still wanted to post it. Go anywhere else but don't buy a used car from here and don't fall in trap of certified vehicles. Later after talking to her manager, she said I should take it there to get fixed. (on deal Daytona Toyota gave 60 day warranty now I have to pay? Later I got a call from Service manager Aaron ,I have recorded message from him, he said his tech guy said they could not create any problems on info system, nothing wrong with radio, and to come to pick up car. I knew that was lie. I talk to Alisse and she told me she took to Subaru/ Chris a technician looked at there. I called Chris he told me he told Allisse that info system screen was delaminated and need to be replaced. Chris told me the info system would cost around 1,800 and could take a month to get part So Aaron lied and did not want to honor warranty, where is the integrity? I guess they did not want to pay and put me in rental car for a month. So On 1/23/24 I purchased a different car, a 2020 Camry. After giving them 4,006.00 more. I went out to pick up car, I was rushed to pick up my daughter at school. When I went to back I saw that the car was dented up in back on trunk lid 9" x 3" dent and scratched side light Lense. I showed sales manager Brian and he said to take car and they would fix with Rose in body shop. I was upset because now I have a devalued car that will probably not match faded paint. People when I sell will probably notice the rear lenses will not match due to fading as well as trying to match 4 year old paint on top of lid. Later Brian said they would get new trunk lid preprinted from Toyota. Later I talked to Rose via text who runs body shop and she said they will paint the trunk. (Pictures online show a dusty cluttered environment), another lie told to me. The body shop is rated 3.5 stars with many one star. I cannot trust this place. Next I will drive to Deland toy0ta (4.7 star dealer 31 miles away)or St. Augustine/Beaver Toyota(4.7 star rated, 43 miles away) for my Toyotas.Brian the sales manager made me sign a paper before they could give my my check and trade that I was happy with return. Unfortunately I found the next morning driving from my home in the dark that the driver windshield wiper had been broken off and my VW first aid kit had been stolen . The wiper blade was put on my Auto zone manager for $37.26 . The manager told me he had heard horrible things about this dealership and was going to deland or St. Augustine for his toyota. I still have to go to vw to get first aid kit. It is worth a drive for honest dealer! Bathrooms & Waiting area! Today I arrived to be greeted by a 1980s style atmosphere. First I would like to address the bathrooms. The bathrooms are extremely outdated. Today many car dealerships and service centers have extremely modern facilities. This place is in need of a serious facelift. My concern also had to do with sanitation of the bathroom. No time during my visit did I see someone come to clean or spruce up the bathroom. Up to 20 people in the waiting room and an additional five or so outside bathrooms are getting used a pretty regular basis. These bathrooms could probably use attention about four times a day or they could leave paper towels and a safe spray cleaning product in there for customers to wipe things down when necessary. ABSOLUTELY WORST dealership and service department I have EVER experienced!!! Dealership portion is incompetent and shady. Will cover up any issues with their cars to get bottom line for their sales. Lie to achieve these goals. When addressing these issues with a manager I was constantly talked over and talked to condescendingly and very much "not my problem" attitude. When it is very much their problem and a problem with this dealership as a whole. Service department is shady and incompetent as well. Our cars tires were near shredding and did not inform us (tires are only 35k miles with a warranty or 45k miles) told us to do an alignment and made our alignment WORSE. When confronted we were told it was our duty to service our own car (is that not what the service department is for-- to inspect and service my car????) Our car now needs 4 brand new tires due to the incompetence and failure to communicate with a customer after multiple tire rotations, an alignment and full inspection of my vehicle when my car had to be towed in due to code issues. Service staff doesn't really listen to customers' concerns. Once they note that they cannot get you to have selective services done to your car, they don't seem to want to honor your warranty and don't discuss anything they assume you are not going to pay them 3 times as much as another mechanic would charge. They claim to not hear or see driving issues with my vehicle if they don't feel or see it in the parking lot or so called "test drive". I have purchased 5 autos from Daytona Toyota over the past 10 years. Times have sure changed recently. In Dec 2023 I purchased a used RAV4 (most of my previous purchases were new) which they said was "inspected" and everything which was not in excellent shape was replaced. One week later I went in because my tire light was blinking. They told me they replaced two tire sensors and left the other two in place because they didn't show failing. Now, one week later they want $300 to replace the last 2 sensors. Toyota knows all 4 sensor batteries are exactly the same age and should all be replaced when 2 of the 4 go bad. There are other Toyota dealerships in Orlando and Jacksonville so I will be buying from one of those from now on. read more

Very disappointment in this dealership. They refused to help me and claim to be family owned. More specifically, James the sales manger promised over the phone that I could buy my lease out that expires in June from a Michigan dealership. I live in Florida now. James said he would try to get me into a new lease. I said, only if it's the same payment or less. He agreed. If not he would help me buy out the lease there at the dealership. Well, when I arrived he put me with Thomas the salesman. He tried for 1.5 hours and it didn't work. Next, he brought James back out. I said I would like to buy out my lease on the highlander. We can not reach an agreement with the same payment. He said no. Go to Space Coast Bank. knowing I can't do that direct. I said you promised to help me and he said no, go back to your dealer in Michigan. My wife is sick with cancer. I cannot do that. They let me walk away and refused to help. A very said story. On my way home I called Parks Toyota in Deland and told my story. They said no problem, I could buy out my lease there. read more

I bought a car in December and five days later I was hit head-on and my car was totaled. I tried 5 times to get the dealership to cancel my warranty (which was a $2600 refund to me) and my attorney tried twice and finally my lender got through after two calls. Worst service ever- once they get your money they don't want to help you anymore. Jimmy Wilkes particularly is shady and dishonest. Buyer beware! Don't waste your time or dime on this joke of a business. I bought a Mazda CX-5 - go see Caleb at Daytona Mazda...outstanding service! read more
