The pain for me was a 2/10 (pretty high pain tolerance) I will update my review in a few days to see how the area heels. Update: 16 days later (April 15) Scars are all gone, looks like the skin tags were never there. My skin tags were tiny/small so unfortunately I do not have a before picture as they most likely wouldn't show on a picture but I will upload after pictures for reference. I would definitely recommend this place for skin tag removal.

I came to VVIP Beauty after seeing many positive reviews. While my initial visit was positive, it…read moreunfortunately didn't stay that way afterward. I came to Tina with a closed comedone on my cheek. I had already tried to squeeze it myself, which irritated it, so I decided to leave it alone and seek professional help. Tina was hesitant and explained that she might not be able to fully remove it, which I appreciated. However, after picking at it for about a minute, she said she squeezed out a very tiny bit of white material and threw it away before I could see it. I had no reason to doubt her, so I paid $50 plus a $10 tip for the service and left. The next day, I looked in the mirror and realized that almost nothing had been extracted. I contacted Tina, and she advised me to come back in a month to allow the wound to heal. About three weeks later, I reached out again, and Tina told me to seek a dermatologist instead because she could not extract it. I then asked for a refund since the service was technically not completed. After charging a $20 consultation fee (which had been waived when I paid the $50) and keeping the tip, I was offered a $30 refund. However, I was required to drive 30 minutes back to the store to sign a refund contract in person (what??). I did make the trip and signed it, but Tina never mentioned that the signature needed to be my legal name or that it had to match my Zelle account name. I was then asked to drive back again. At that point, it no longer felt worth it as the commute is an hour round trip and I had already gone once. She reluctantly agreed to send the contract electronically instead. Because I was at home, I had more time to read the fine print. I ultimately decided not to sign the contract and forfeited the refund, because signing it would prevent me from writing an honest review online. As a consumer, I rely heavily on online reviews when deciding where to go, and I don't think it's okay to require customers to give up their ability to share a truthful experience. I'm not going to lie, I probably would not have made this review if I was just given the $30 refund, because at least they attempted to make things right. However the whole contract thing felt really shady, especially when I wasn't even getting the full refund! It's unfortunate that things went south, but I'm writing this review because I would want someone else to do the same. I drove all the way here even though there were closer medspas near me, BECAUSE of the good reviews, and because I wanted someone trustworthy to operate on my face. Edit: I've included a blank copy of the contract, you can read it and decide if it's just for book-keeping purposes or not. If it was really just a standard procedure, why was I unable to receive a refund with my preferred name? I acknowledge that Tina never guarenteed full removal, but it's also not right to tell the customer she removed it and then charge $50 for an uncompleted service. Furthermore, yes she never discouraged me from sharing my experience online, but if I signed the contract I would be legally unable to write this review unless it was positive.

The staff were professional and friendly, and they took the time to really understand my skin concerns before recommending any treatments. My facial treatment was extremely relaxing, and I could immediately feel how much care and attention went into every step. My skin looked noticeably radiant and smoother afterward, and even days later, it still feels refreshed and healthy. Overall, I highly recommend iCare Skin to anyone looking for quality skincare and a truly relaxing self-care experience. I will definitely be coming back!

The atmosphere is very enjoyable. When I arrived, the front staff were very nice and accommodating. They were able to get me the introductory pricing. There were many different type of packages depending on what type of service and skin type I had. I wasn't sure which one to receive so the beautician chose the type of facial for me. I requested a service that will take dead skin off of my face because I explained that they're often is a lot of dry skin that is on my face. She chose a service that helped with reducing redness and irritation of the skin. The positive: the front staff is kind. The products they use feel luxurious and smells nice. The location is clean and welcoming. There are many types of services to choose from. My service was relaxing and the products did not irritate my skin which is a plus. However, there were a few downsides to the service. First, the beautician did not speak English and had a hard time communicating. At some point, I felt she got frustrated and did not speak much afterwards. It was really awkward after that. Second, I wanted my face to feel clean but after my service, my face still felt like it was not clean and I was able to rub dead skin off still... the facial did not do much for my skin at all. Third, pricing is a bit steep and although the product is nice, I feel like the service was not worth the price itself. Overall, a nice place to try and maybe with the right service type and beautician, this might be worth it. For the time being, the service was not for me.

Left my skin very sensitive, and I've been purging for the past week since I've had it done. I expected I would have smooth, fresh skin after the peel but I've been left with terrible, painful cystic acne which I never get. IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: I followed the instructions clear and through. I still use the cleanser provided. The instructions note to not do any treatments following 2 weeks, nowhere does it say that I should be following up with another medical grade facial within 7-10 days.

I visited their website and completely filled out their "Schedule Your Consultation" form back on July 15th. It has now been 3 days, and I have still not received a single phone call, email, or message to schedule my appointment. I firmly believe that the way a business does anything is how they do everything. If a medical spa cannot manage to follow up with a prospective new client trying to book a procedure, it raises a massive red flag. It makes me seriously question what would happen if I actually went through with a treatment here, had an urgent post-procedure question or complication, and suddenly couldn't get a hold of anyone for answers. Communication is everything when it comes to aesthetic procedures, and failing at the very first step is not a good sign.
