Been coming to Dazzling Pup going on 6 years now and I'm a loyal client for life. My maltipoo always comes out looking fresh and relaxed. The prices are very reasonable and the packages are definitely worth it. Jonathan and Lauren do such a great job so you can't go wrong with either of them. Lauren is super sweet and always says that my dog is good and well behaved which brings a smile to my face. She also let me know that my dog had an ear infection that I wasn't even aware of and recommended me an ear drop to medicate him and it did wonders and saved me a trip to the vet. Can't recommend this business enough! read more

I've been going to same groomer for 5 years but need a good solid alternative when there is scheduling conflicts. My groomer needs to be scheduled a week out but sometimes I need grooming asap or on weekend mornings. I tried out Dazzling Pup & was extremely satisfied with the services provided. I appreciate the variety of services and that I can schedule a specific time slot. I will definitely be coming here again. You know, getting my furry baby Jackson all spruced up isn't something we do every week - sometimes I attempt it myself but sometimes is in need of a full pamper session! But when it's time for a proper, professional groom, there's absolutely no question in my mind: Dazzling Pup is always my first and only stop. They honestly work wonders with my little guy. When I discovered this dog grooming business, I never left. Jonathan is such a great groomer. He is so detailed and knowledgeable with the best interest of your dog. He is so quick to communicate. I appreciate the time and effort he puts into my fur baby (shown in the pictures below). I take 3 dogs of mine here and he never fails to disappoint every time. We love a business that makes you feel like family!! Especially when you're looking for somewhere that you can trust your dog with. We've tried a number of groomers at this point and Dazzling Pup is not only friendly and welcoming, but their services are consistent, which I realized is extremely hard to find in a groomer. Johnathan and Lauren are amazing. They take their time and assure you that safety is a priority. When you pick up your pet babies they give you tips and share concerns with how to improve the next visit and if they see some dry skin they let you know and recommend how to treat it. I have been going to Johnathan for years and would not go anywhere else. He genuinely cares about animals and has their best interest in mind. 1 of my yorkies moves a lot during haircuts and Johnathan is extremely patient with her. read more

I have been coming to dazzling pup for around 4+ years because not only do i trust all the groomers with my pup, but my dog absolutely loves johnathan! I feel comfortable leaving him at Dazzling pup. Jonathan is the man. I have a rescued chihuahua and he is a biter. Jonathan was able to calm him to give him a bath, nail trim, teeth brushing and anal glands all in his combo package. He is definitely my regular groomer now and will recommend him to anyone! read more

He ensured me that Benji would be in safe hands and I rarely ever do haircuts so I wasn't sure what to get but he knew exactly what I was talking about (even though I was a bit confusing lol) I loved his haircut! Parking. Easy. Free. Street. I brought my Pomeranian in because he had a few ticks. the groomer understood what I wanted. The male groomer was a super nice guy. He let me know the circumstance (my pom might grow out unevenly). I gave him the okay. After a few hours, I came back and he presented my dog. He asked if I would like any changes. He kept going back and forth until my puppy was perfect!! Not 100% evenly cut but the price is great and the groomer was super nice. Also, sadly, my dog still managed to catch a few ticks. Not sure if they were there prior so tick shampoo is questionable. read more

Been bringing first 1 and now 2 dogs to Jonathan since 2018 for grooming! One is a picky and dramatic maltipoo and the other an often knotted up Bichon so very complicated clients. He has always done a great job with both of them, even once spotting some blood tinged urine from our maltipoo and told us to take him to the vet, which probably ended up saving the doggo. He has been very accommodating and flexible, often offering same day appts if there's room. Highly recommend. read more

Johnathan is a miracle worker. We love the shaggy look of our little Bear, but he is very prone to getting knots deep in his fur. We've taken him to several groomers in the past who simply clipped him short and handed him back to us, leaving my daughter in tears and angry at me for ruining her life. This was despite us telling them not to clip him shorter than an inch. Johnathan was mindful to listen to exactly what we wanted and he delivered exactly what the others were not able to. He gave us some valuable advice about keeping the knots under control and this conversation revealed that we were using the wrong type of brush. This is a game changer for our family. First time with Dazzling Pup, and I would fly back from San Francisco with my Yorkie just to get him groomed here. Does that speak to how great of a job they did? -- Wait: I was able to be scheduled in last minute with Dazzling Pup for Friday at 2 PM. I dropped off my boy, Niffler, and picked him up around 3:30 PM. It wasn't too bad of a wait, and I was able to use that time to eat around the area. Price: I paid $35 dollars for a cut. It was a great price for me, considering the Bay Area charges ~$65 dollars for a simple cut. I can't complain about the price! Service: I came into the shop wanting Niffler's haircut to be like the other Instagram famous Yorkies. I wanted the mouth shape to be like a donut and the haircut to make him look puffy like a poodle. However, the shop owner, Jonathan, told me it was an unrealistic ask because Yorkies have such fine, thin hair. Granted - I knew it was a bit of a reach. He suggested a different type of haircut and showed me some examples. With a bit of hesitation, I ultimately caved in and went with his suggestion, but I knew he knows better than I as a pet groomer. When I came back to pick my boy up, I was nervous. Many other groomers I have visited never met my expectation, and I was constantly disappointed. However, Jonathan did a fantastic job! No cuts, no fly-away hairs, hair was even, genitals cleaned, nails trimmed, ears cleaned... I can go on and on about the service. Wonderful! -- TLDR; Great service (no cuts on a dog is always a plus). Humble/honest owner. Decent price. read more

They took great care of my 15yr old husky. He came in a bit matted and was shedding clumps of hair. Was in need of major furminating and a bath. I learned afterwards that his hair had gotten too long under his paws so that was why he kept slipping on hardwood floors. They took great care of him and He Looks wonderful, clean, and shiny now! read more

When I picked up my dog Teddy after his grooming, I learned that the tip of his left ear had been accidentally cut during the grooming. However, what disappointed me most was that the person who actually groomed Teddy did not come out to speak with me, explain what happened, or personally apologize. I understand that accidents can happen when grooming a dog. But when an animal is injured while in someone's care, I believe the groomer should personally speak with the owner, explain exactly what happened and what was done for the injury, and show genuine concern for the dog's well-being. Making the grooming complimentary was appropriate, but for me it did not make up for the lack of direct communication and accountability from the person who groomed Teddy. Unfortunately, for a first visit, this left me feeling very uncomfortable about returning. My main concern now is simply making sure Teddy's ear heals properly.

After picking up my dog, I looked through the window and saw a groomer yelling at a small Yorkie, grabbing it forcefully by the face, and jerking it when it wasn't cooperating. I was so concerned that I went back inside and confronted the staff. When the groomer realized I had seen what happened, she immediately started smiling, saying "oh no," and changed the way she was handling the dog. Regardless, I know what I saw. As the owner of a senior dog who is blind and deaf, it broke my heart to think about how animals might be treated when owners aren't watching. I left extremely upset and have not returned since. I've also noticed that the facility has seemed less clean in recent visits than it did in the past. Additionally, there are often dogs kept in cages in the back area, which has made me uncomfortable during some of my visits. This was my personal experience, and unfortunately it was enough for me to lose trust in the business. I believe every dog deserves to be treated with patience, kindness, and respect.

She's not one to scratch herself or jump/claw at things either (older, suuuper mellow dog). The least they could do was give an explanation, but I called multiple times afterwards and they didn't pick up. I suspect they brushed her too hard and for whatever reason, brushed her nose?! Took her in this past Wednesday (08/28), but she already started smelling by Friday despite her just being home all day in between her short walks twice a day. I've definitely had better service and results. Won't be back. Be careful if you take your dog and always check him/her after you pick your fur baby up!

She said she needed 20 more minutes and took 40 which is fine. Have they done a good job. I got there and my dog's hair is completely uneven. You can tell that there are spots on her body, where they didn't cut at all, including her legs I asked them to shave her sanitary area. They did not do that. I will definitely never be back.

I organized food in one cabinet, with post-its for info, post-it where her room litterbox was after already giving info to the manager I think it helped make things simpler. We started getting daily reports, with "basics" box checked. They were thorough, precise, and complete. My Dad worked for Polaroid for 20 years, and these pet sitters were awesome at taking pictures. Every day we'd open up the emails and this noise would come out of our mouths: not ooh! Yecch! But...: Awwww, look at how cute she looks. Her wariness and caution as a cat showed, but her shyness rounded the corner a bit. Sitter4paws let us take a long vacation worry free at what we thought were reasonable prices, for a truly truly worry free vacation. I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

He can't hold his pee/poo for too long nowadays because of his age and he likes to eat small meals X3 a day. Keeping him locked in my new house all day would stress him out or have him barking all day disturbing my housemates. At first, I thought of placing him with my vet's office for boarding. But, I noticed they kept him caged for long periods of time. And, he would return to me very anxious and stressed. On recommendation of a friend, I tried St Tropawz and I am so so grateful to Patrick and his staff of caretakers. They have been trusted caretakers for my elderly Topoli. They are patient with his quirks of eating small meals and comforting him during his bouts of anxiety looking for me. I honestly hesitated in writing this review but i truly regret taking my dog to them... the only reason I did not give it a 1 star is because Jonathan tried his best to fix the situation! My dogs haircut was ruined... she is a full breed Yorkie... she has never had issues with her coat... when she came out she had "flakes" she was stinky... her tail hair was cut out alot because according to them it was tangled... she was full of hairs and terrified... she was itchy alll day! i regret not reading all the other reviews... had to take care somewhere to get fixed! called in today hoping to do a last minute appointment for my yorkie and they were able to fit me in. my yorkie had very sensitive skin so i am usually very cautious about my groomer. when i arrived i was quickly greeted by Jonathan. i explained to him about the skin condition my dog jasper has and he was very attentive and made some recommendations. He also gave me some suggestions on the styles that he find fitting to jasper. The session took about 3 hours and Jasper look super cute and he look very happy. Will come back for sure. read more

I was so concerned that I went back inside and confronted the staff. When the groomer realized I had seen what happened, she immediately started smiling, saying "oh no," and changed the way she was handling the dog. Regardless, I know what I saw. As the owner of a senior dog who is blind and deaf, it broke my heart to think about how animals might be treated when owners aren't watching. I left extremely upset and have not returned since. I've also noticed that the facility has seemed less clean in recent visits than it did in the past. Additionally, there are often dogs kept in cages in the back area, which has made me uncomfortable during some of my visits. This was my personal experience, and unfortunately it was enough for me to lose trust in the business. I believe every dog deserves to be treated with patience, kindness, and respect.

I will NEVER take my dog here again. They will not own up to their mistakes.
