We were also recommended to having the roof soft washed. At first, my husband wasn't very interested in the soft wash idea. That changed after he saw them cleaning one of our neighbor's roofs and how great it looked! I honestly didn't realize just how filthy our roof was. We've lived here for two years, and my husband said it looked like the roof had never been cleaned. I was able to convince him to go ahead with the soft wash, and we are so happy with the results! The difference is amazing. The poor guy spent 4-5 hours washing the roof, while also cleaning all the gunk that came off onto the house and yard. He was quick to stop by to give us a quote. After receiving quotes from other landscaping businesses, we felt that Bobby's quote was the most reasonable. Services completed: - Old sod and trees (2) + roots removed - New sod and cement border with sprinkler system - New plants with drip system - Added rocks to border fence/grass area Bobby was attentive to our requests, even when we changed our mind on a few things last minute. Before receiving the quote, I sent multiple photos clearly showing the bushes, roots, and work area, and explained that I have fibromyalgia and spinal arthritis, which is why I needed help with the job. Unfortunately, the experience became extremely stressful and uncomfortable. After the work began, the owner repeatedly complained that he "didn't account for the roots" and tried to increase the price, even though everything had already been shown in the photos beforehand. During the job, my pavement was cracked and my irrigation system was damaged. No one warned me ahead of time that the irrigation could be affected or discussed any precautions before starting. When I brought up the damage, I was told there was basically "nothing they could do." The owner was aggressive, loud, and repeatedly threatened to stop the job and leave the work unfinished whenever concerns were raised. The constant arguing, pressure about money, and confrontational behavior made the entire situation feel very intimidating and unprofessional. The work was eventually completed after more discussion, but the overall experience was chaotic, stressful, and lacked professionalism and accountability. I strongly recommend getting every detail in writing beforehand, including scope of work, pricing, and responsibility for damages. NOTE: The owner called me then texted me. I had to block him. I did not contact you further or continue any argument. My review reflects my personal experience with the work performed, including the property damage and how the situation was handled. I would prefer no further phone calls and that all communication remain respectful and in writing only. This is inappropriate behavior and he's making heritage assumptions.

I was not going to post this review... but it seems there have been multiple issues as posted on Nextdoor so I thought I should. Just two years later we started noticing that the window directly under the awning was leaking during severe weather. (So once or twice a winter) it has been a nightmare ever since. I called Salens to have them come inspect. They did not come out. They gave me the number of the company who did the awning. My husband and I both reached out to them to NO RESPONSE. At that point I felt like I wasn't going to get help from Salens or this other company. I reached out to several awing companies and explained the issues I was having, to see if they would come inspect the work. To no surprise very few people felt comfortable inspecting work that wasn't theirs. I found someone who did come out, pulled back flashing, recaulked, and sealed some cracks around the area. This helped initially but the leaking came back. I had a leak detection company come out and they couldn't replicate the leak. At this point my option is to pull the awning down and throw 6,000 down the drain or cut a whole inside my home in the drywall to see where it's leaking. Pulling the awning down will require me to completely resucco the backside of my home. Theres no visible damage from the leaking. Our Insurance company couldn't find the source and declared it wasn't from a storm. I called Salens back because I really wanted to speak to the owner about this and I left a message with another staff member. It's been two weeks with no call back. All of this to say I would vet the subcontractors this company uses. I also would not recommend drilling into stucco !
