They gave me a hard time to take off a sensor that they forgot..Didn't even apologize and try to be a smart ass with me
    Mi V.

Customer service= piece of shit. I came in here because my mom like to get her home appliances here and I happened to run into a blazer I liked for ONLY 7.99. I gave in and purchased it but little did I know when they rang me up they didn't remove the sensor tag. I found out when I got home and didn't have time to come back until the next day to ask them to remove it WITH the receipt and TAG still ON it too! The Loss Prevention guy checked the receipt and tag telling the associate everything matches and it's from their store; Yet the sales associate on site STILL denied that the sensor is not from their store and she would have to check the cameras. Like ok I understand you gotta do what you got to do to back ur ass from getting in trouble with ur boss but the fact that after they checked the camera and removed the tag she didn't even apologize. She said "Next time this happens, you take these things back to us immediately not the next day" . Like bitch you think people got time on their hands ? People got jobs and shit to do. Your ass should be apologizing on behalf of your store for wasting my damn time to drive back to get the sensor removed and that you made me wait 20 min for you to check the camera for a fuckin blazer that is $7.99?! It's whatever though, what can I expect from a low class store like dd's and their workers anyways. My ass learned my lesson; ain't ever fuckn shopping here again. Here's my two cents for everyone.

He loves his bag. They had adidas backpacks for ladies too!

I made out like a bandit here! The store was very clean and well stocked. COVID security measures were in place here so I felt safe about coming here. I came here looking for loungewear for my Son and I. Managed to find three sets of brand name top and bottom pajamas, three pairs of basketball shorts, two hoodies for me, one jacket, a sports bag, one hoodie and two shirts, all 18 items totaled a little over $125. Mind you these are all name brand and items I would typically purchase at Macy's and spend double!!! We will return!!

WHERE is the professionalism? And this is the "Manager". He pulled pants up after the fact my bf called him out for sagging with no belt on.

Just got profiled at DDs Discounts in Berryessa, San Jose with my bf over a bag policy that is nowhere to be seen or able to be printed out in the store. Came in to look at air fresheners because I needed a car freshener. Less then 5 minutes in the store the "Security person", Adrian, walks over and says if i could leave my bag upfront. I asked why " my manager said so and its store policy he said she is at the front you can talk to her" okay i go up there. The "manager" Diamond, told me if it is bigger than a handbag, and it was store policy. Asked her to "let me see your store policy". She Tried to print out a receipt look in the back of it & Nothing, she then says "I can call the other manager over since i am still in training" Yet people walking and shopping with bigger handbags around than mine. And they kept saying it's store policy. Just because my backpack is not leather or purse looking material. Question the "security" person ' why did you not stop me n told me that I had to leave my backpack as soon as i walked in?" "I didn't see you wearing it. [*Okay so then it's not bigger than a handbag right?*] Then directed me to this young looking dude as a manager with saggy pants named Javier my guy called out him showing his underwear to customers how is that professionalism. Javier told me the same thing asked him i want a copy of the store policy that you're enforcing couldn'tgive me a copy and told me he can give me Corporates Number And told him too that theres people in line with the same backpack size as mine and he asked who I asked the lady to please turn around and just because its not Calvin Klein or pleather material it's not considered a bag/purse um it's a backpack regardless of the material and style. My bf then asked Javier, what does he consider a purse and not a back pack, he pointed out at another small backpack just because it was pleather material. Then asked him "you're not the store manager, when does that store manager get here" Javier answered at 3pm and her name is Daniella. He also took too long giving me Corporates number because the "pen isn't writing" when it worked just fine for me when i wrote my number down to have the store manager give me a call in regards of this.

This location is way better than the one on white/story. They have a bigger variety of scrubs and the workers are much nicer.

Well, I honestly didn't read the reviews until I was just going to leave my review right now…read more I was greeted fairly quickly and when I mentioned I had specific fabric needs they got me a specialist. Zaina was extremely helpful. She asked questions about firmness, configuration, fabric etc and we narrowed down the couch fairly fast. If I would have gone in by myself without help I would have been overwhelmed. Zaina made it seamless. She also reconfirmed my choices throughout the ordering process just to make sure everything was correct. Also I had multiple sales people come by and compliment me on various things. I don't know if that's something management asks the employees to do, but their compliments sounded sincere and every person I interacted with was super friendly. So this review is purely based on my initial experience. I'm hopeful that the rest of my experience turns out great and then I'll add an update to my review.

Told us to call within a week of our voucher expiring so that she can extend it for a year and then within that last week window told us to call on the expiration day to extend it for 39 days only. No real policy to quote or share, just made up numbers and lies. There's $364 bucks I'll never see again because a corporation and their crooked employees stole it from us. Avoid at all costs. The quality of the furniture is not great to begin with but the customer experience is atrocious. Definitely don't buy any warranties on this junk

My issue has been the attitude of the one specific person who was working each time I went. Pushy as heck every time, following me around and talking at my back as I look at products- if I wasn't in need of gifts I would've walked out immediately. I don't need to be hounded as I shop. Couldn't answer simple questions based on what she tried to explain to me: Me looking at a resin platter. Salesgirl: it's so pretty isn't it? Me: it is but it is uneven when laid flat and the handles are different on each side. Her: Oh it can be "warmed up and flattened so it isn't uneven" if u "leave it in the car" Me: umm huh? Her as she quickly walks away: yeah or heat it up in the oven and like press down on it on the countertop. Me: Ok so what temp can it be safely heated to? Her from behind the cash wrap: just heat it idk. So do you want it or not? Me: no thanks for that price ($200) I would want to know what "heated" means. Sounds like it isn't very possible to make it lay flat without knowing the specifics. Her: well then don't buy it. Me: yeah i definitely won't. I expected a nice reply like "Oh let me check with the Maker and get back to you" or "sorry I don't exactly know what i'm saying but our return policy is.. and here is how to contact the Maker." Still bought about $300+ of products on that visit but wrote this review in my head before leaving as she shot me eye daggers as she rang us up. Won't be in again if she is working. Or maybe ever...made it all very suspect.

This particular weekend I wanted to get something for my niece who is graduating high school as well as turning 18!! I found a really cute, simple necklace that was pretty yet unique along with some really nice earrings! Not exactly a matching set, but I bought them to not match. My niece loved them!! Easy $60 present and it was unique the lady behind the counter, even wrapped it in a cute little mesh bag. I had tissue paper at home so I added that to the little rustic brown bag to have a pop-up color and overall I will definitely be back!!

I needed one new hang standard to make my Elfa system accommodate multiple tasks. I first tried going to the Container Store in Palo Alto. The head Elfa woman at that store (Megan?) was extremely rude. I left frustrated and confused with what should have been a simple purchase. The next time I had business in the Bay Area, yesterday, I tried the San Jose location on Stevens Creek. OMG, night and day difference in experience! Becky retrieved the piece I thought I needed. When I commented that it looked different, she showed me the track and asked if it was the same as my track. Even though Becky has only worked for the Container Store for a few years, she is knowledgeable about the older, discontinued Elfa systems! We talked pleasantly about my options. I went home with the newer hang standard, which at least have slots that align to my older standards. Becky went out of her way to make sure I have her contact information. She even offered to put together a new system for me to just pick up, if I emailed her a picture of my current system with measurements. The entire interaction was friendly and helpful. I will definitely return to the San Jose Container Store and tell my friends! I am disabled and have an accent, but neither of those qualities make me stupid. I don't know why the woman in Palo Alto talked to me that way.
