I now know that DD Discounts is not equivalent to Diddams, haha. This DD Discounts compared to the one off of Saratoga Ave is much much messier and basically scarier. Only been here twice, but everyone in there seems like they are ready to kick your butt and they make you check in your bags and crap when you walk in. Way messier than Ross, but cheaper also. I love how I can get car carpet mats for only $5.99. Where else can you get a car mats for that cheap??? Right next to Dollar Tree, so a bonus for those extra cheap shoppers. I purchased some Cheetah print car mats with a matching steering wheel cover and the staff behind the counter wss awesome. The two young ladies whose names have escaped me helped me detached the tags so I could just place in my car i had just purchased the previous weekend. Terrible customer service! Rude, curt and indifferent personnel. The best quality about this store is a security staff who greet you with a friendly "welcome to DDs". Not the best quality of merchandise, but definitely low prices. Maybe management needs to explain to these cashiers were customer service means. You get what you pay for, that applies to customer service as well. read more

It's okay if you hav a long time to look through stuff. aside from all the bratty,noisy kids screaming everywhere it would actually be a somewhat good store. The prices are VERY reasonable. The have a good selection if your looking for name brand stuff. I would shop there again,but I prefer the one in Fremont. read more

I stopped in to DD's to buy a few things. I was very very impressed with the cleanliness of the store and how helpful and nice everyone was, especially the checker. Not sure of her name (Bella ?? Belia??) She had a very long line and yet she smiled at me and made me feel like I was her only customer. I've been in to many stores where the checkers barely acknowledge you so I always appreciate checkers/employees who acknowledge me. read more

i hate this location. its always too packed and most of the merchandise is on the floor and usually one register is always open even though there is a line. I also hate it that you can't the shopping cart to your car cause i had a full cart and had to do couple trips back and forth. And the parking lot ooh wee good luck finding a parking near by the entrance and there is always pan handlers greeting you at the door lol read more

This location is way better than the one on white/story. They have a bigger variety of scrubs and the workers are much nicer.

was in here the other day... Manager lady with long fake reddish hair with white shirt told me to move to the line up section. I went to the line to wait (I was the only one in line too.) and she let this asian lady cut in, WTH? Store is filthy, messy, disorganized, clothes in wrong places. screaming kids running around, staff looks like they do not want to be there.....shoes are plastic looking and not worth $1. Ok so this store has a lil bit of everything. I can walk out with several cute items all ranging in price 3.99 to 12.99. I have a limit I spend no more than 9 on a shirt/blouse I am plus size and going to lane Bryant is a no no on my budget. This is similar to Ross/Marshalls only cheaper. read more

Before coming to dd's discounts for the first time, I was a bit hesitant to come. My friends told me that they found really cute clothes and that they loved this store. They convinced me to want to come in. From reading the reviews of this branch, I was hesitant to come because people gave such low reviews. Honestly though, this place isn't that bad!! I found cute things! Finding cute clothes that were my style was a bit hard but if you look thoroughly, you'll find something that is your style. There were a lot of young kids running around and looking at themselves in the mirror but being kind and saying excuse me to them will help out. Just be polite. The dressing room lady looked kind of old and she wasn't really that nice or enthusiastic. Like other reviewers said, when you walk in, the lp officer is always saying in a monotone, not enthusiastic voice, "welcome to dd's." Like..ok lol. The store wasn't as cluttered as I thought. All in all, there's got to be cute things as long as you look. Don't expect to find super cute stuff because you might not. It was my first time to shop for dds discount on this location. I purchased nursing uniforms and was really happy with the discounted price. When I was paying for my purchase the cashier asked me to help her out removed those hangers from the uniforms, then she asked me to stand next to the register to make sure she was charging me right. After paying off my purchase she asked me to bag all the items I just bought. Uhm, the last time I checked I was the paying customer not an employee for the store. Its a discount store and you pay half of the price but the customer service was horrible. I called the Supervisor to tell my experience but I was told dds trained their employees to ask customers to remove hangers from clothing during busy hours. I explained to her there was not an long line. So,its a discount store so don't expect good customer service at all. read more

All I can say is that this dd's has very rude employees! Their customer service skills are next to non - existing, this store is very messy and unorganized, kids play around between the clothes racks and destroy the toy section. I used to like this store when it first opened, not anymore. Please train or re - train your employees on how to treat customers and talk to them right without raising their voices harshly on customers and please have respect for the elderly, please organize your merchandise, it looks like a ghetto Goodwill and PLEASE do something about the toy section, it looks like a ghetto daycare with broken toys and opened boxes. Employees are very rude especially towards kids. I understand that toys section are not for playing. But how can you buy toys without seeing if your kids like them. If you are putting such rules then why not put signs that kids are for buying and not playing. read more

im always at dds, you find alot of styles that you wouldnt see at other stores and their clothes are always going with the trends. I usually spend 30 bucks and always come out with a nice shirt and pair of pants, what else could you want!? people always compliment my clothes at our performances,clubs and on the street and they always tell me that they have never seen or heard of the brands i am wearin, i tell them if their lucky, they might find them at dds.
