My personal favorites were the mango sago and the pork adobo. I grabbed a bunch of onigiris to go and we even ordered more food to go. The mango sticky rice drink goes as well as you can expect with sticky rice trying to be sucked through a straw , but nonetheless delicious . By the time I got to the bingsu I barely had room I was so full. Same owners as Yifang, Super nice couple. Everything was clean. We carried my baby's stroller up the stairs when we got there and they told us about the side ramp so we didn't have to carry him out again which was considerate and thoughtful . Hoping to come back again soon for some more mango sago!

Mango Sago: Unpleasantly thick and goopy. I'm not sure how much flour was added to the coconut milk, but it literally had the texture of Elmer's glue. Definitely wouldn't recommend or order these again unless they fix their recipe. I have never been to an asian dessert that served asian dessert this bad.

There is an ingredient bar with a various selection of vegetables, proteins, noodles, etc etc. The options are endless. All you have to do is grab a bowl and tongs and pick and choose what to put in it. After you finish customizing your ingredients, make your way down to the cashier and they will weigh your bowl and have you select your broth. Whenever I go here, I get the tomato broth with different veggies--bok choy, seaweed, lotus root--pork belly, fish roe balls, and fresh ramen (my fave). The ambience is chill and the people there are nice. There is ample seating for lots of people. The interior has a nice pop of color as well. I will definitely continue coming here!

There's a screen on one wall near the entrance talking about all the locations they have around the world. No frills, pay by the pound. The broth was flavorful, and my $30ish dollar bowl is good for two people. When you're full, there's also containers you can use to bring your leftovers home. The sauce and toppings bar is also really convenient, and staff deliver the hot bowls to you once they're done cooking. A solid place for malatang!

There were so many items that I wanted to try, but I only had one stomach. Came here on a Thursday morning and the restaurant was operating at around 20% capacity. The food: Garlic Noodle with Crispy Chicken - Garlic Noodles were tasty. The Crispy Chicken had really nice, almost tempura like batter. Wish it had a little sauce or something to bring it all together. Berry Lover Toast - Two large pieces of French Toast with a blueberry based inside, topped with a ton of stuff including sliced almonds, corn flakes, powdered sugar, sliced grapes and some thinly sliced oranges. There's a lot going on here. I did like the strawberry preserves as a topper - it seemed homemade and it wasn't too sweet. I didn't try any of my friend's Country Potatoes, but they looked legit. Good service and plenty of nearby parking. Properly named, as this is a good place to Hangout!

They come out with a lightly crisp exterior, a soft, fluffy inside, and are perfect with just a little butter or jam. We make it a point to stop by whenever we're driving through the area just to stock up on a few bags to take home. I also found out Oprah recommended them, and I figured, "Hey, if they're good enough for Oprah, they're good enough for me." Turns out she was right.

These are airy and buttery. And if you toast them at home, and spread more butter on them, you've basically died and gone to heaven. I returned a few months ago to buy more, but they were sold out. I went yesterday to take a peek around 1pm and they had a few bags left! Score!! Toasted one at home with PB and, damn, what a treat!! So good. I also got: Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie: It didn't have a lot of walnut and it was too delicate to eat. It could easily crumble on you so don't eat it in your new car. :) But it was pretty good but I've had better cookies. Banana Chocolate Bread Pudding: This was confusing because I guess I was looking for something either in a cup or a rectangular slice. I had to ask the person at the counter where this was because on the shelf, they looked more like muffins. So, guess what. They ate like muffins. They're not too sweet and they were a bit drier than I would expect a bread pudding to be. I think I was expecting it to be eggier? More moist? Chocolatey? Nonetheless it was enjoyable. Beautiful bakery with a small dining area. The breakfast/lunch menu looked good. I would like to return and try their tartines. They look and sound amazing. Service was okay. A smile goes a long way.

Honestly don't quite understand the amazing reviews of this coffee shop…read more We love downtown Walnut Creek and got excited to try out a new coffee spot but was really disappointed in every aspect of this shop.. it was quite busy for a Wednesday afternoon and when we walked in, there's one kiosk to order. No one was at the main register to take orders. The couple in front took forever to order so we stood next in line for a little under 10 min.. we noticed there were several people outside of the small shop waiting for their orders. As we were in line to offer, several people came inside and asked the employees at the counter about their order status. We waited 30 min for 2 iced drinks!! Someone ahead of us was still waiting on her ONE iced coffee. I ordered an iced tiramisu latte and my brother ordered a matcha. My drink tasted like watered down milk. My brother's drink didn't taste like proper matcha. It's a shame because the place and location is nice. But staff doesn't greet you or seem friendly or even approachable. And the drinks are not good. I didn't bother for any food/pastries.
