Here on Tuesday, surprised how full it was for an off night. They have a taco truck outside, decent menu. They have video games and lots of seating. The lights strain my eyes. My friend invited me here to check it out for the first time today. She's been a de Bine fan from the start, and I am now too! I really like the atmosphere. Plenty of seating, both bar stools and a comfy couch to make you feel like you're at home. There's a designated stage for live music, a video game area and some board games too. Today I sampled the orange-lime hybrid and the chocolate stout. Both were excellent. Great flavor. The variety of choices here is pretty good, there's certainly something for everyone. Prices are reasonable - $3 for a 5 oz pour or $5 for 12 oz. Service was on point also. I heard they have a free comedy night the 2nd Saturday of every month. That's one of our favorite date night activities, so we'll definitely return here again to check it out. read more

Atmosphere is basically a clean basement. Beers are tasty but a bit expensive. They won't give you ice water unless you buy a bottle or they direct you to a water fountain. One of bartenders seemed like I was inconveniencing her by asking a few questions about the beer selection. De Bine Brewing Co. is an actual brewery. They make and sell beer...very good beer in my experience. They don't serve food...this isn't BJ's or Ale House. However they do have Food Trucks on the weekends and chips if you're famished. For you Pinellas County microbrewery aficionados DeBine compares to Cycle Brewing in St Pete...just larger and with a stage. The bar staff Ive spoken with are knowledgeable about their offerings and able to describe them in detail. I've posted photos of their brew list and a selection of there events to give you an idea of what to expect and what's going on. Interesting note: we got to sample a 14 hop beer that was an experiment of sorts. You gotta love a place that's adventurous. read more

I've been here a couple times now. The first time was close to when they first opened. At that time they didn't really have any beers I was thrilled with but really liked the location and atmosphere inside. I like the whole concrete bar area and the different areas they have set up all around that give each area it's own space. Came back here last night and was way more impressed than the first time. These days, it seems as if breweries are popping up everywhere, like 7-11's. Hell, this one is literally a stones throw from Stilthouse Brewery, a block away on the same side of the street! Like most first visits to a new brewery, I was intrigued and a bit skeptical to see what they had to offer...they didn't disappoint in the least. My first beer was the new Vanilla Bean Porter, a take on their St. Joseph Sound Porter. The St. Joes is dark and very roasty. The VB kicked up the flavor 10 notches and made it more delicious. Another highlight was the collaboration with Crooked Thumb, another stellar brewery in Safety Harbor. It's a session ipa called Harboring Around-a tart, fruity, easy to drink ipa, perfect for the inevitable swelter of the FL summer heat. It really is a great location, with amazing restaurants close enough to walk to if so desired. Come check them out, have a beer and support your local breweries! Cheers! read more

I really liked this place. I stopped in after work today and was happy to see they had three ciders to choose from. I'd suggest the Original Sin Cider as it's not super sweet if you don't care for beer. It's a very low key place to enjoy a quick drink, hang out, and relax. They have a gaming system, several places to sit, and an extensive list of beers on tap. Maybe the only "meh" thing was the small parking lot. I can imagine the parking gets tough during the weekend. read more

We were doing a bike ride on the Pinellas Trail and were thrilled to see this brewery right on the trail (literally). We decided we earned a beer and locked up our bikes (on the provided bike rack). Some people were standing nearby setting up a food truck (& were very friendly). Bonus! When we walked in, the place smelled brand new still. It has an industrial decor with concrete bar and metal bar stools. There was an outdoor seating area that looked inviting (if it wasn't incredibly hot outside already). They had several of their brews along with some other guest brews. I really liked that they provided you with different pour sizes along with an option to take some home in a growler. If we're in the area, we'll be sure to come back. read more

Watch out for the overcharging! Have had multiple friends complain about DeBine screwing with the prices on the receipts, and I finally experienced it myself last Friday. Wife and I got SIX 5oz. pours. They were $3 each. The bill should be $18 right? They gave us a bill for $22. The original receipt didn't have $3 for each beer, as stated on the chalkboard. One was $1.08, one was $4.10. Nothing made any sense. I brought it up to the bartender who tried to explain that it was the tax. But tax on $18 is $1.26. So the total should have been $19.26. When I tried to explain this, I got a stern look, and the original itemized receipt was taken from me with a new one that had the prices magically correct. And then a real nice statement for the working manager of, "So, is that better?" And then he walked away. Yeah, much better....my first time at DeBine will be my last. First off, their venue is nice and their NE IPA (All the Cool Kids) is very good. However, the two young people servicing the bar have terrible attitudes and no idea how to appropriately interact with customers. Stopped by while riding the Pinellas Trail yesterday afternoon around 2:30pm (May 23rd). It was great to see they were open with about 30 customers. The two bartenders (one male / one female) were both feigning "Overwhelmed" even though I was the only patron trying to order a beer at the time. It took them a couple of minutes to finally acknowledge me - and the male approached me while rolling his eyes. My appearance had interrupted their chit-chat and it was obvious he was none to please. Both appeared annoyed to be working and were probably happier sitting at home collecting unemployment and their pandemic stimulus checks. I felt terrible for them . The male bartender was gruff and obnoxious throughout our interaction. First he spills half an inch of my beer onto the bar top while thrusting the beer in front of me. Then he grabs my $10 bill (that's now wet from the spillage) off the countertop (rolls his eyes again due to its moistened state - which he caused ), spins around to the register - fishes out my change and then slams the $4 down directly onto the beer spill - causing a splash . Without saying a word - he walks down the bar, rinse's off his hands in the sink, and grabs a towel to dry them . As I said - nice venue, good NE IPA, but BOY should they ever reconsider the bar staff ! read more

Not even worthy of a single star. Hospitality and atmosphere are cold. I visited two years ago and swore to never return. I thought the bar staff were snobby. I recently re visited because I had friends who invited me to join them. I told them I had a bad experience. I returned to meet them last week and was rudely invited on entering by Rachel "you have to get a mask" I looked around to see not a single mask in the place (8 customers). So I ran out and grabbed the mask that I simply forgot in my haste to meet my friends who had been waiting. When I returned wearing my mask the bar staff (Rachel) appeared to be too busy to serve me except there were only 8 folks. I waited patiently to finally be served. I explained to my group that I had a bad experience but would give the brewery a chance to redeem themselves. Today I visited alone but had a group following me. Usually we are across alt. 19 in the neat bars there. Upon my entry wearing my mask, again not another soul in the place wearing a mask (eleven people this time) and one gent standing at the end of the bar talking to the same bartender, Rachel, no mask. I waited patiently to be served. I had just enough time to meet my group for dinner and bring them across the street where there was reel food but redirected them after the following experience. As I waited patiently wearing my mask at the slot determined for service the bartender continued to talk to the other gent. She acknowledged me visually but continued to chat. I finally figured I was the only douche bag in the whole place no mask so I removed it. I was immediately berated by the bartender who said, "you removed your mask and want to be served?" I said no-one else except you is wearing a mask in here. I placed my order and seated myself. She cam to my table with my beverage and said "give me $5 and leave". I was gobsmacked. What did I do besides not be a regular? who knows. It was a full drink. I chalked it up to her having a bad day. A few minutes later another gentleman approached my table told me to leave and I would never be welcome. I explained that I had no intention to EVER return and asked his name. He replied, "It does not matter who I am". I asked, "what is your role here?" He also refused to answer that simple question. So I finished up and left. I was polite as possible but not really sure what is going on there. The atmosphere is cold the staff have been rude every visit. I am not difficult or imposing as a customer and tip very well. I am friendly and polite and plan to spend my time where my patronage and loyalty are appreciated. I posted on every social media I know what happened and I assure you I won't be back. The beer is about average for the local talent and the food is basically BBQ and from a truck. Good luck de Bine, hire new staff. read more

Tried this because of a Groupon. Cute place with good brews. Very relaxed with picnic table seat on the inside, couches, bar stools, high tops and a video game spot with 4 chairs. The selection of brews was awesome. The beer flight selection was fun and tasty. It is dog friendly which is nice. But we are dog lovers. If we lived closer, we would hang there. The only draw back is no bar food, only bags of chips. With trying if you like microbrews. read more

Living on the 'Gulp Coast', it's difficult to pick from so many amazing breweries working hard to create great, unique craft beers while also fostering their own style and environment. Debine, for me, has hit the nail on the head in both departments. It's now my favorite brewery, for so many reasons. 1. Their beer. They have a selection of favorites that are constants, which is greatly appreciated because as every beer drinker knows, there's nothing that sucks more than finding a beer you LOVE and realizing it's only there for a week and then gone, never to be seen again. They have ALL STYLES of beer, something for everyone is vital for success. Their sours and berliners are amazing (even for non beer lovers!). They have new tastes as well, so there's always something new to try. They also have a wine selection in case someone in your party really doesn't do beer. Genius. 2. Upfront pricing, sizing, and specials. They clearly have posted all of the beers, all of the sizes, and the cost that includes tax. No surprises. Also posted clearly are specials, including happy hour, discounted growler fill days, and any events (live music that is usually killer, open mic night, including comedy, and runners group events, even yoga!). 3. This is probably my biggest love - they are dog friendly, and not just on some hot sweltering patio area. You can bring your buddies right into the air conditioned bar with you. It's got a cool concrete floor that I'm certain, if my dog could write his own review, he'd give 5 stars. 4. The staff, including the owners. I really love all of the staff. They make us, including our dog, feel like family when we visit. Everyone gets busy, so there's not always time to chat, but when there is, they do. Sign of really great picks for bar tenders, imo. They don't just stand there silently on their phones. They work hard and are constantly changing kegs, cleaning the area and joking with one another and the customers. That alone, for me, makes Debine really stand out in the sloo of local breweries. The owner has gone out of his way on more than one occasion to sit and chat with us and show us the facility. Which, brings me to the last point. 5. The actual brewery is open for you to see. To me, it is the CLEANEST brewery (bar area, bathrooms, outdoor area all included) that I have ever seen. And it's consistently that way. Beautiful unique art work, poured concrete counters, lovely outdoor area overlooking the Pinellas trail, two lounging areas inside with sofas and a TV with games, high top tables (for those with back issues lol) and really great long picnic type tables that encourage conversation. We've met many great people here. A lot of room for people, dogs, dancing etc. Never feel overcrowded, no matter how busy they are. Just a great all around local brewery that we're lucky enough to live close to. I know it's a lot in one review, but Debine really has impressed me that much in the 8 months we've lived here. De Bine Brewery is located off Alt 19 and the Pinellas trail in Palm Harbor which makes it an ideal stop for bikers! We got a flight of brews which included the Peanut Butter Banana Ale, De Bine Hefeweizen, Rye Pale Ale, and Chewie's de lite Blonde Ale which was a much appreciated Star Wars reference. All the brews we tried were really good and we look forward to trying more brews in the future. Out bartender was quick and informative in belping us pick out brews but it was close to closing time and they were busy cleaning up so couldn't talk too much. The decor was modern minimalist industrial with exposed air-conditioning ducts, lots of concrete on the bar, on the floors, and on the ceiling. They were playing old school chill Motown music. De Vine brewery feafued a lot of cool art on their walls, board games, and shuffleboard. De Nine brewery had 3 TVs for viewing The NBA finals with the Cleveland cavaliers verse the golden state warriors, Family Guy, and Bay action news. Well football season hasn't started yet. De Bine is a reference to how hops grown on the beer vines or de bines, which is long flexible stem of a climbing plant like the hops. Look forward to coming back to try more brews! read more

First stop on our pubcrawl this past weekend. This place had an awesome beer list. I'm from New York, so it was nice to try some local craft beers. I had the pleasure of sampling the Brown Ale and De Bine Hefeweizen... 2 solid choices. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Met some friends there and sat at the bar to enjoy a few pints. There was a nice selection draft beers. From IPAs and Wheat to Ales and a cider. Like many micro breweries their selection will be forever changing. I particularly enjoyed the Hoppy Monk of the three different beers I drank, but its safe to say there is something for every one. The bartenders knew the beers well and were quick to pour you a sample of any one you'd like to try. Most beers were offered in 3 sizes and 3 prices. I think 6,10 and 16 ounces, but my recollection could be wrong. This is a great idea for obvious reasons. The pints are $6. I would definitely return. If your looking for a romantic spot with lazy chair comfort this is not the place. The bar is polished concrete, very clean but utilitarian. Having all the charm of a intercity bus station painted battle ship gray. If it weren't for the tap handles I don't think there was an color at all. That didn't detract from our enjoyment of the beers in the least and to be fair they have only been open a week, so I don't know what plans they have. One of the better brewery's in the area. The outside deck seating is a great way to utilize all of their space; while the exposed brew tanks provide patrons an authentic craft beer experience. The industrialized decor is unique but fresh and offers a clean new feeling. There is plenty of room for big groups. We even noticed a stage for live music. The beer was flavorful and they had something for everyone. The staff was extremely friendly offering samples as we requested. They were very attentive through out our time there and non-confrontational when a member of our group accidentally knocked over their glass. Sorry!!
