The outside decor takes you back to simpler times. The inside is small and quaint. I like the idea of ordering at the window and then finding a seat. Glad we came after the lunch rush since seating is limited. I ordered a philly cheesesteak on sourdough versus a bun and shared onion rings with my husband. For our son I ordered the $10.99 burger special. Given the price of everything going up, I was not surprised to spend $45 for 3 of us for lunch, however the amount of up charges for simple things like pickles and swapping a bun for sourdough were off putting to me as a first time diner. Now the food was high quality and delicious-so you get what you pay for. I also liked that this establishment served Coke products. Another plus! All in all a great experience.

They were bigger than McDonald's fries but smaller than handcut fries. They were crispy and not greasy at all! Very tasty! I got iced tea with my combo and it was made perfectly - not too weak or over steeped. It was clearly freshly made that day as well. The staff were very friendly and engaging. I received very good service and there was enough staff so that everyone there at the time did as well. Cheers!

So do yourself a favor and make a stop here for some delicious food. People come from miles away for these burgers and you should too. We stopped by Bill's Grill, a classic American diner, to enjoy some delicious food. This restaurant specializes in the perfect hamburger, served with fries or crispy onion rings. The interior features charming checkered tablecloths and a notable Elvis Presley portrait, creating a great dining atmosphere. I grew up in Bennettsville , SC in the 70's and 80's until I went into the military in 1985. I traveled all over and lived in many places over the years. I come to visit family and friends in the area whenever I can and enjoy finding good food spots. My best friend told me about this place so we made a road trip. In high school we came to Cheraw quite a bit , not far from here , because we dated a few girls from there , Chesterfield and Wallace. I recently retired and now I've got more time to travel , do YouTube videos and TikTok , write my Yelp and Google reviews , take road trips , etc. I spent the whole month of February in Myrtle Beach , SC. It comes with chunks of onion, ketchup, mustard, mayo, and chili. PERFECTLY cooked burger. Each patty is super thick you'd expect them to be tough but they're the perfect consistency. I asked for fries done extra crispy and a lemonade. The waitress again wrote nothing down. Everything came exactly as I asked for and after a long day of being on the stages, this was amazing. Everything was so good, including the fries. Best lemonade I've ever had.

Having driven by many times, it caught my attention from a Yelp review. And I am so happy I found it. Order at the counter from a single page menu, take a seat, and watch 'em work the grill and fryers preparing your meal. Easy, peasy. And so good, too. I've been here twice ordering a dog and tater tots on my first visit, and a cheeseburger and potato salad on the second. Both were excellent and I'll be back for another round. Being a tiny, family owned business they rely on frozen items from their vendors for certain items (fries, tots, tenders). Who doesn't really? They're not competing against Bobby Flay or Shake Shack, so I give 'em a pass. In town and need nourishment? Has my "Give 'em a Whirl" meter drolling for another cheeseburger and fries. Go here.

Let's start with there was no line today! I anticipated a…read moreline as they're open on Saturdays and being that it was a holiday, I knew people would be out there. However there wasn't so we were able to walk right on in. There were some folks inside as well, and tables for us to sit. It's similar to most BBQ places where you order your meats by the pound. We had brisket, ribs and pulled pork. The ribs were so tender they fell off the bone. Literally just pulled the bone out. The flavors were outstanding. There was bbq sauce but truly wasn't needed, more just to enhance the flavors. The brisket was moist and tender. Seasoned to perfection. It as well needed nothing more. The pork was really good. Tender and juicy. We had a few sides but the most amazing one was the watermelon salad. With the mint, lime, cojita cheese, cucumbers, and red onions it was mind blowing. The way everything in the salad blended so well together was perfection. The Mac and cheese were just as top tier. The way the cheese pulled, the kick it had you could tell this was recipe that has been used for years. There was a bite to it and it was perfect. We also had the Mexican street corn that burst with so many flavors. And lastly we tried the hash brown casserole. It was definitely different but equally as delicious. The service was quick. The ladies that assisted us with our sides were the most friendliest. They encouraged us on the selection of sides, and shared their favorites with us. Overall one of the best BBQ I've had, definitely the best BBQ in NC.

We arrived at 9:45 on a chilly, drizzly day and there were probably 50 people in line ahead of us. There was a friendly staff member monitoring and organizing the line and she told us we were there on a 'slow' day because of the weather. After the restaurant opened at 11, we waited in line for probably another 45 minutes until we got inside to order. The brisket was great, but the best things we had were the kolaches (stuffed breakfast rolls available before they open), Cheerwine hot link sausage, and fruit crisp. The Cheerwine sausage was the biggest surprise. It had a great flavor and wasn't sweet - I've never had anything like it before. When we get a chance to go back, we'll probably skip the pulled pork and mac & cheese. They were fine but there's a lot to try and these weren't anything special.
