They don't have a return policy, but you can apparently exchange within one week.

No appointments required, and they will do their best to accommodate all walk-ins, but usually better to visit on a weekday when they're less swamped. 5-star service when you're the only one there. Very responsive via text. In-store purchases are exchange only, and if you don't like an item, they will do their absolute best to help you find something that you'll love. No in-shop tailoring (so no measurements), but they'll refer you to one local service. They have a really good eye for what your appropriate size is. I ordered a tux, and it was ready in a few days. I ended up swinging by a month after the tux was ready, only to find out it had been accidentally sold to someone else or was lost. I don't blame them, it's a small business with very limited space, and I was at fault for waiting a month. They immediately reordered the tux again and it came in less than a week. It's worth just shooting them a quick text or call to confirm your orders are ready before going in.

As luck would have it, I stumbled across this shop walking past it on Grand Ave. And saw that they did tailoring, as well as make clothes. This is a great tailor shop - the staff is very pleasant, thorough, and does exceptional work (delivered in a timely manner). MY dress had to be taken in at the sleeves and hemmed. The work was stellar and a perfect fit. I am so glad (and relieved) to have found 8 am Tailor - and would have no hesitation of bringing my clothes to them, whether they were dresses from J. Crew (which this one was) or my Neiman Marcus outfits which might need altering. Prices are VERY REASONABLE. Their "consistent" 5 star ratings are well-deserved.

I do not have a body shape that can wear "off the rack" dresses, but Mo designed me a dress that fit me like a glove, highlighted my best features, and still felt incredibly comfortable. All my friends and family raved over how beautiful my dress was. In addition to a great eye for design and fit, Mo's handiwork was meticulous. Both the exterior dress and lining were finished to perfection. Mo also made a custom suit for one of the bridal party, and it was also tailored to perfection. She looked like a million bucks in her suit! Throughout the process, Mo very carefully explained the design options and "next steps" thoroughly. I always felt reassured that Mo understood the type of dress I wanted. Working with Mo was a collaborative process (with Mo offering suggestions to vastly improve on my initial ideas).
