Such an amazing team at Evotique. I had a disastrous experience trying to buy a wedding lehenga online - even after providing custom measurements, the fit was completely off and I hated the color. That's when Evotique came to the rescue!! Avneet made me an ASAP appointment to come shop and I found a dress I loved right away. I wanted to check out the bridal/non-bridal outfits here. I sent them a text asking for an appointment, apparently they have walk in hours with a 30 min limit . For an appointment/consultation, they require a deposit that goes toward the cost of the outfit. It seems silly to have that policy but I guess these businesses can afford to do that since wedding season is starting to pick up post covid. Kinda sucks India is in a lock down right now because you know these boutiques are charging a big premium. These non-consumer friendly business are just off putting. Got my bridal jewellery from here and was very happy with it! Great customer service and care with matching the jewelry we were looking at to the sari I was planning to wear. They took the time to understand my style to make sure I wasn't overwhelmed with options. I was able to find jewelry here that would go with a South Indian look which was rare compared to other shops I'd looked at. Prices were higher than some options I saw to buy online, but honestly it was so helpful to try things on in person and make sure that everything looked good together. For that - the price is worth it! Note: a few pieces that I selected were missing a stone here and there, but as long as you check over the pieces carefully and point this out they make full repairs before you take things home with you! I have so many good things to say about Evotique. I worked with Avneet for my custom wedding outfit. For the last 8 months she's been so communicative and diligent in explaining the entire process to me. I've gotten updates on every step in the process; from sketches, to getting to see color and design swatches before the lehenga started getting made, and pictures as it was getting sewn together. I was even measured multiple times to make sure everything fit perfectly. I felt so good through the process I ended up getting my Churra, fiance's shawl, and jewelry from them as well! I ordered my dress 3 months ago for my reception and my outfit did not come in time. I don't think anyone understands the amount of stress I went through. Evotique, I regret paying you guys through Venmo. They won't give me a refund, Venmo doesn't help with refunds. I ordered a thousand dollar outfit for no reason because I got it the day before my event and it didn't fit me. Evotique was no help at all. They just stopped responding to me. They promised back up dresses if something went wrong last minute and then when I needed the backup dress (my dress was supposed to come before July 26th and tracking was showing august 2nd), they only had two outfits and they said I would have to find someone else for alterations. Who does this to a bride?? I had to go to VAMA and drop $3200 on a dress and the owner there personally made sure I was okay. They even altered it for me. Because that's what you do for a bride if you want future business. I will never come back here. And I have proof of it all. They didn't pay attention to me, they didn't care to make things okay with me. They don't even care to respond. I'm so upset and just baffled that this is their customer service. They're all about the money and not about the customer service. Making sure your clients are okay is number one. If you can't do that, make sure you don't advertise yourself as helping brides. Clearly you don't have the expertise to make sure an outfit comes in time for events and that you're doing whatever you can to make sure it fits too. Not to mention I ordered a maroon dress and it's red. The dupatta has a slit on it. Who was going to fix that the day before the reception? My mom was livid but we had to figure it out. We had a hundred people coming and I had to find someone who would actually deliver a good product. The owner at VAMA felt so bad for me and she went out of her way to call me multiple times and made sure everything I bought fit me correctly and that I was comfortable. Why couldn't Evotique give me this kind of service?? If you're looking for bridal wear, beware you may not get your dress on time or if you do, it won't fit but they'll blame the measurements on you instead of taking responsibility. On top of this- they're calling me a liar. Really? I'm lying? Why would I lie and why would DHL tracking lie? Why wouldn't I want to wear my beautiful dress that I spent a thousand dollars on at my reception? These people just want your money and that's it. Response to owner- You have a habit of calling your clients liars. You can have your dress back. It was late and it doesn't even fit. Some nerve you guys have trying to blame your customer, it's like you don't want good business coming your way. Why would I lie on another business's page? I bought three outfits from Vama and I will always tell everyone that they helped me when Evotique was busy avoiding their bridal customer. She has proof of our payment and that we bought 3 outfits from her. You had three months to deliver my order and you're calling it a rush order?? In what world is 3 months not enough to make a dress in time? I don't care what issues came about, if you couldn't deliver on time then don't take the order. I told you the date of my reception the first day I spoke to you. I also reported you to Venmo for making me put a smiley face as a caption instead of giving an explanation that the payment was for an outfit. You guys are cheaters and liars. Multiple customers of yours wouldn't have the same story if this wasn't true. See you in court guys. I'm not letting this go. I've walked in multiple times to this store and both girls are just on their phone the whole time, probably trying to increase their Instagram "influencer" status. What a joke. I was 90% inclined to get my dress from India as I believed that it's going to cost me fortune if I try to buy anything from US, which I was definitely wrong about. I stepped in Evotique and spoke to Avneet and Navjeet. These beautiful girls helped me clear out my confusions and brought out all the options I have on table including all the pros and cons for getting a dress made from India. They won both my husband and my confidence and we both believed Evotique knows what they are doing and it is best if I get my dress made from here. Next visit I made to the store was with my mother in law and tried on different dresses. My mother-in-law also fell in love with the store. After trying a bunch of dresses I really liked one of the dress and wanted same dress in a different color (Ivory). Navjeet assured me that it will be as I want and would be in my hands few weeks before the wedding. The whole process from picking a dress to finally receiving it was very smooth. I'm a future bride who happened to be visiting Fremont from out of state. I came across Evotique on Instagram and was hoping to purchase some of my bridal jewelry and outfits. Unfortunately the staff, including one of the owners, were incredibly rude. They allowed me to browse their selection at first. Then only after I found something I wanted to try on, they told me they don't take walk-ins (even though they advertise otherwise) and don't even allow you to try on any clothes on the weekends, appointment or not. They also only had 1 other customer in the store at the time with 2 employees working there. They were not at all apologetic, not even about the incorrect advertising. I would've made an appointment to come back another time because I liked their selection.
