Along with this, we found a dead black widow, so we decided it was time and had Urban Desert Pest Control come out. The great news was no evidence of roof rats! The even better news was that instead of charging us for placing traps anyway, Urban Desert Pest Control realized that our "pet" squirrels that live in our backyard were probably getting up there to play and placed some filters over vents to prevent the squirrels from getting into the vents. Guess what? Noises went away. Nice to work with a company that focuses on the individual customer instead of implementing a general approach for every single situation.

They are essentially scamming me out of over $600.00 after not ever completing a service and have begun making threats. At this point, I'm going to let it play out legally and have ceased all contact. Seriously, beware. They are going out of their way to leach as much money off of people as possible without actually having to do any work.

Kudos to Katie for her responsiveness to questions. D-Day.. rep was accommodating. He pretty much carried out the tasks as described by Matt. No surprises. At my request, remedied the inside first so we could reposition furniture and get the interior back to normal (spot treatments into the wall plus topical filler. Paint touchups not included, but that was disclosed upfront.) Then, our external side wall which is actually our neighbor's side yard (so we could wrap up disturbing the neighbor and could reposition their yard furnishings.) And finally the rest of our external perimeter. I also would have expected clearer documentation, a long-term plan, or recommendations beyond repeated spraying. The technicians are polite and professional, but the overall approach feels complacent and reactive rather than thorough or solution-oriented. Homeowners should ask very specific questions about inspection methods, treatment strategy, and whether the goal is actual eradication or just ongoing maintenance. It's an endless loop of reoccurring maintenance contract renewals, with no real maintenance. I'm now seeking a second opinion.
