I've waited to post till my set was paid off just so I wouldn't have to deal with the owner. So firstly the jewelry is cheaply made than over priced. My wedding ring broke within weeks of purchase, the prongs were bent so my center diamond was on its side so I called first and after the convo decided to Take it to another famous Modesto jeweler first and his opinion was not good and I've trusted In him family heir looms so I trust him and his family greatly he dated the pongs were not soldered properly, but my husband bought it from DeAngelos So I took it in to DeAngelos and was told I must have done something to break it, owner and son were not friendly the girl was. once I handed it over to the young man behind the counter he broke my ring IN HALF!!!!!! While examining it. It was crushing, they did fix that for free. However after this experience I literally never ever went back not even for a cleaning. ‍. Now less than 3 years later after the purchase of the set my wedding band from DeAngelos is broken in half. Be careful with your money spend it on quality not quantity. The owner is very pushy for positive reviews like he will chase you out the door making you swear you'll give good reviews which is very of putting. I am so disappointed! I brought in two pairs of earrings a few weeks ago, life prevented me from running back to pick them up sooner and now I'm kicking myself. One pair they used epoxy to put back together - and that was fine. The other pair was missing a diamond. I wear them practically every day and my new puppy bit them and ripped off a diamond. They charged me $145 for a new diamond which didn't feel unreasonable. I JUST picked them up and inspected them at home. The diamond is CLEARLY yellow and smaller and not of the same quality or size of what was there previously. It's a cluster so the smaller diamond is SHAMEFULLY noticeable. What really upset me and I was too nice to argue: I sent them there with 14k gold backs. I flat out said why are they so green? And the owner told me because they were costume! He swapped out my gold backs for crappy costume. I just paid $145 in CASH for bad work, a poor diamond, and to get ripped off of my gold earring backs. He told me it would be another $60 to get a new pair of backs. I told him I'd rather use plastic. I have an allergy to costume and he tried to tell me that my prize diamond earrings had costume backs - you know the ones I wore daily. I will not come back and don't advise you do either. I will take these to a reputable jeweler and have them fix this shotty work. Ugh. The day before my wedding too. read more

BUYER BEWARE - paid $4300 for engagement ring/wedding band set. No grading paperwork (when I called Tom said they only give it if asked, so ASK). Just had it appraised at $2500. Called and Tom started giving me his rehearsed line of excuses. "We can sell it for what we want", "We offer cleaning and extra services", "We've been doing this for 25 years"...blah, blah, blah. I don't care how long you've been in business. It doesn't mean what you do is right and it's actually sad because that means 25 years worth of people have been ripped off. Fact of the matter is, Tom, you are preying on people that don't have much money by offering credit to those that wouldn't normally get credit for anything and then you inflate your prices to pour salt in the wounds.
