I feel as though I should update my review. Others have told me to try again so I did and it was good. So I tried it at least a dozen times since my first review. And each time it was really good. I have had several pizzas and Stromboli and he makes them exactly how you order them I have become addicted to the meatball lasagne pizza. What at first I thought the guy was rude but he really isn't, he's just quiet. And on top of it all while all the other pizzas in the area are going crazy with their prices, theirs have stayed the same. There is no question I will be back. if you want to get your food delivered to you 4 hours after you order it, you're in the right place! the customer service here is the worst i have ever seen. no one should have to call 10 times and be told that they're "next in the delivery line" 3 hours after they order. now, at the 4th hour, we're getting a ~ free drink ~. i highly recommend that no one orders from here. on top of the costumer service and delivery time, the pizza quality is BELOW sub par at best. not quite sure how this restaurant is even still in business with this type of service... adding on to this review after reading more reviews. i see that the owner has commented back on some of the bed reviews. you should have no excuse for being "backed up" in a town like this, if you can't handle a heavy business day then you shouldn't be in the business at all. there are many restaurants out there that get more service (he refers to this as being backed up) on a daily basis than this restaurant has probably ever had. in any case, you cannot make excuses up for being how late you are on you're delivery time, especially as it seems to be a trend. i think it is very unprofessional the way you have commented back on bad reviews and i am honestly very curious what you have to say about mine. good luck with everything, and thank you for wasting my time. read more

My dad likes this place and they efficiently took our phone order and the pizza was ready as promised when we arrived, so I'm giving them 4 stars. Personally I found the sauce to be too sweet compared to my favorite pizza back home. And my dad ordered mushroom and extra cheese which was just.... too much cheese. But that wasn't Deano's fault. A previous reviewer suggested trying the lasagna pizza which sounds very cool so I will definitely go back for that. read more

Hand spun pizza dough! The owner flipped and turned the dough right before my eyes as I ordered a delicious pie. This small venue in Lakeville, CT serves up pizza by the slice, or made to order. $18 for a large specialty or sicilian mix (definitely enough for 4 hungry guys). There are pre-written chalkboard specials, or feel free to make your own combination! I'd like to see more people eating inside Deano's, I know it's in a tiny town, but patrons were also calling in delivery orders while I was waiting for my food to go. These thin crust beauties are great! Not greasy by any means, and I can say with 100% confidence that it holds well, and the poultry on my BBQ chicken was fresh...but you may have to fold your slice...its hearty! read more

Stop by here on a late Sunday afternoon looking because my friends were looking for inexpensive place to eat and were super hungry. It is a small establishment, but there are least 3 four-person tables inside. If you order a pie, they will make a fresh one right in front if you want to watch. Unfortunately, my friends ordered the spicy chicken and the bbq chicken pizza and they thought it tasted bad. The pie was fresh, but the chicken was that processed food mixture that was cut into rectangles (exactly like chicken nuggets). I'm not a fan of pizza (thin crust margherita is the only time I make an exception) so I ordered a spinach & ricotta calzone ($4.75) for myself. I'm glad I did because it was very good. read more

What Deano's lacks in restuarant size and atmosphere, it more than makes up for in the taste of their great pizzas! My all-time favorite is chicken BBQ! Other pizza places often skimp on the size of chicken cuts and the BBQ sauce is sometimes bland, this is not the case with Deano's. One of my friends from New Jersey always raved about how good NJ pizza was till he tried a slice of Deano's pizza, he quietly admitted that it was "pretty good". I call that a win! read more

Has my favorite custom pizzas, and makes awesome salads! Ice cream is just as good, when in season. Although I must say there is only one thing I am not pleased with from this Resturant, and that would be the mozzarella sticks. They are soggy, and do not taste normal. I've ordered them several times to make sure it wasn't a mistake, but they are always the same. I look forward to a crispy, fresh round stick that melts in your mouth. These however are soggy, and taste different with a rectangular "frozen" taste. But everything else, very good! My husband is not a big pizza fan at all but if he does feel like ordering it, we always get it here. Deano's has the BEST chicken-bacon-ranch pizza. That is the only pizza my husband will eat. He's tried it from other places but nothing ever compares. The staff is always friendly and we've never had to wait long to pick up our food. The price isn't bad either. Ok, so I am a bit biased but I won't order pizza anywhere else. I love the thin crust pizza as I grew up in the Bronx and these pies are what I remember as a kid. I have tried all of his specialty pizzas and loved them all. I especially like the lasagna pie, the buffalo chicken as well as the sweet chili chicken pies. If you have any suggestions for a different combination pie, Dean will gladly indulge your requests. Dino's has the best pizza around by far but they lack a dining area. They have like three tables and two of them are two tops. So unless you are ordering takeout or delivery this isn't a very family friendly place. I do highly recommend their chicken bacon ranch pizza! Yum! read more

this is the worst pizza place i have ever been in association with. i ordered my pizza and wings at 446 pm on march 31. it is now 835 pm and i still haven't gotten my order. i called this place 10+ times asking where my order was and each time the person answering phones said it was next in line for delivery and that they were a little backed up. well no shit they were backed up i waited an entire day to get a simple order. what kind of restaurant is unable to correctly get a pizza delivered to a place 10 minutes away. this is a sorry example of a pizza place i will never order from here again. they are unable to complete a simple order and drive out 10 minutes to my destination. i bet my pizza whenever it arrives. if it even does arrive will be cold and shitty. everyone is watch out for this place read more
