MY NEW FAVORITE ACAI PLACE!!! I could eat acai bowls everyday and Dear Acai is my new favorite place! They have so many toppings and bases that I've never gotten at other places! Amazing acai bowl place! It was recommended to me for being very generous with toppings, and I finally got to experience it for myself. I got a 12 oz ($11) and the value was amazing. I got to sample the different bases first and pick as many as I wanted. I picked Acai, blue pineapple and matcha. Then I added matcha pudding and pumpkin flax granola and almost all of their fruits. I love adding all the seeds (hemp, chia, flax), bee pollen and gogi berries and then cashew butter on top. There were so many toppings that she gave me a separate cup just for toppings. I wasn't able to finish it all in one sitting! I also got a ginger shot ($3), which was BOGO! It was very concentrated and potent, which was great. There were also cookies and banana bread ($2 per slice, $7 per loaf) for sale by the cashier. Everything is very reasonably priced - I'll definitely get some bread next time! Overall, the bases are on the sweeter side so it helps to balance them with the walnut, pumpkin seeds, nut butter and fruits. I liked the matcha base and matcha pudding the best. Next time I'll try the coconut based and passion fruit to see how sweet they are. I liked all the fruits except the pineapples. I was impressed that they also had dried mulberries, which were very sweet, so just a few is good. Can't wait to bring my son here!

I was very happy to come here. Generally makes me nervous to try new acai places because so many are stingy on ingredients, but Dear Acai is not! I ordered a custom bowl on DoorDash for pickup and I was so surprised when I was handed an overflowing order - it was delicious. All of the ingredients tasted fresh, including the granola, and they were generous with the almond butter topping. The photo shown is the medium size and it is more than enough for they pack it. The shop is cute with seating available and a large selection of ingredients to choose from. I will definitely come again to try other options.

Awesome place to get acai with a great atmosphere and quality options. Unfortunately, the location closed earlier than expected during the visit, and there was only a sign posted regarding the early closure. It was a little disappointing after making the trip, but the discount offered was appreciated. Overall, still a good spot and hopeful for a better experience next time.

Sooo delicious and refreshing! I got a matcha and cacao base, and my sister got an ube and pitaya base. We loved the many options for the base & pudding flavors! Best açaí bowls in Garden Grove! They have a great variety of options, but my go-to is the mango base with chamoy, salt, and Tajín--such a perfect mix of sweet, tangy, and spicy. They also have ginger shots and complimentary fruit-infused water, which is a nice touch. Plus, they have a loyalty program, and Nikki and her staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Definitely a spot worth checking out! (11/100)

ORDER 16oz bowl - matcha & pitaya base (4/5) the bases are on the icier side and doesn't melt as fast as other places! you can sample the bases as well. i tried the ube, matcha, and pitaya. the ube was yummy, but a little too sweet for my liking. the pitaya is on the plainer side, especially when eating with the toppings. the matcha flavor was pretty strong. there are many toppings offered, more than most acai places. the prices were also super good. they currently have a 30% off offer, so it's the perfect time to visit :) SERVICE (5/5) very friendly service! Came here for their soft opening and was pleasantly surprised!! Their prices are a lot cheaper than their competitors. $13 for a 24oz?? That's unheard of! And they offer flavors that I haven't seen at other places like Ube. I liked that they asked if I wanted to sample their bases before I started building my bowl. I also saw raspberries as one of their available fruit toppings, which isn't common either. It was definitely a nice cold treat on a warm summer day. I really enjoyed the mango base, which can be on the sweet side if you eat too much of it. read more

Love having an acai place nearby. Great for a guilt free sweet treat or a lighter meal. They are friendly and don't skimp on toppings. You can order ahead before coming which makes it convenient. I'd recommend trying if you're in the area and in the mood for something sweet and healthy. read more

After seeing several signs advertising this place, my husband and I finally had the chance to stop by and try it out! The girl working immediately welcomed us and offered to let us sample several of their bases, which was super nice! Their acai was delicious and exactly what I was expecting for acai. I thought their ube was going to be too sweet, but the sweetness level was perfect and they 100% nailed the ube flavor, which I was very impressed by. Their matcha was okay, but definitely on the weaker side, especially compared to other places like Pur Bowls. Their passionfruit base packs a punch and has lots of flavor but was just a little too tarty for me personally, haha. The rest of their toppings and offerings are pretty on par with other acai shops. I did like how generous they were with the fruit toppings, but the pineapple I got didn't taste as fresh as I would like. The inside is neat and clean, and there are a few tables if you opt to dine-in. The staff were all super friendly, courteous, and welcoming. Prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this shop if you are close by and are craving an acai bowl! read more

Wowww!!! My favorite acai spot used to be berry brand but this is a very close competitor - they let you sample their based and you can get unlimited bases, the options are much more vast than many other acai places - the ube base is sooo delicious and I also loved the blue pineapple base (it was so unique)! I came into this açaí spot for the first time with my sister and was pleasantly surprised. The lot was easy to park in and very unassuming. I came in with my girlfriend and were greeted by Carina and Alondra. My girlfriend wanted to share with me but I was unfortunately sick at the time. Alondra and Carina graciously suggested that we get a medium and we could split up our order into separate bowls. They were helpful all the way through and we ordered ginger shots as well. I was surprised as all the toppings tasted very fresh and the price was great for the amount we got. I am used to açaí spots charging extra for each topping, so this was a pleasant surprise. My absolute favorite açaí bowl spot. I've tried so many açaí places, and most of them disappoint with small portions, overpriced bowls, or açaí that just isn't good. This place gets it right EVERY TIME. The portions are generous, the quality is amazing, and the açaí actually tastes like real açaí. The space is quiet, welcoming, calm, and always clean, which makes it such a nice place to sit and enjoy your bowl. The employees are genuinely kind and friendly, and the service is consistently great. I'm so excited that this acai shop opened in Garden Grove! Their service and bowls exceeded my expectations. AND their portions are very generous at a super affordable price! They have a variety of bases & you can mix and match if you'd like. Some you should definitely try are: Ube, Coconut, and Matcha. They also have a wide variety of toppings (even Nutella which is amazing!) I ordered a bowl with their classic acai base and the texture was very smooth & tasty. One of the best I've tried. The order I had and recommend is: Acai Base Honey Almond Granola Bananas Blueberries Strawberries Peanut Butter Goji Berries Banana Chips (a must have that most other acai places don't carry!) Cacao Nibs Toasted Coconut Staff is very kind and helpful with suggestions for flavors and topping options. Unlimited toppings & combos. Shop is clean & has a classic black & white aesthetic. This place is so good. They literally pack your bowl every time. Service is great, the staff are super friendly. My favorite thing about Dear Acai is that they have a variety of bases for your bowl and you can have more than one base, which I thought was so cool. I would definitely recommend the matcha base! This was probably the best acai bowl i've had My sister and I got 2 bowls to share and it was the perfect amount. My most favorite thing is that you can put unlimited toppings and they have plenty to choose from and also nuttella and i think it made it even better. I got the ube base and my sister got dragonfruit base. I love both flavors. Next time, I want to try different flavors that they offer. Overall, I like their service and their acai bowl. I’ve been a business owner since 2017 and was in the restaurant industry for over 7 years. With one small idea, Dear Acai was finally able to come to life. I have to admit that Dear Acai is one of the best acai bowl places I have ever tried!! This was my second time coming here and all I can say is that this spot will certainly be my go-to. I am so happy to know that this acai spot is locally available in Garden Grove . You are able to choose from a variety of unlimited bases and unlimited toppings for a reasonable price. All bases are flavorful, creamy, and tasty! The fruits and toppings are fresh and delicious. To add, the service here is amazing and the overall experience is one of a kind.
