The tried and true cheesecake croffle is the best imo. The Nutella croffle is also good with the bananas. Croffles do take more time so be patient or order ahead. The blue spade drink always hits. Tried the bulgogi kimbap and it was well prepared and flavorful. The popcorn chicken is not the best but the sauce makes it better. Service is very friendly.
I'm an OC Native and had grown around this cafe. Oddly enough, today was my first time trying it and am filled with regret that I haven't tried it before! 5 stars for everything: quiet study atmosphere, aesthetically pleasing town setting, delicious food and drinks, and numerous seating areas. Parking is terrible here, but you can park around the building. Upon walking in, you are fretting by a kind Korean lady who will give you ample time to order. We'd had eaten dinner already, but our mouths were watering looking at the food options. We stalled on some desserts with tea. We ordered a Nutella croffle with ice cream and a Tiramisu croffle with ice cream. The milk tea had come out first, and it tastes like an original milk tea. The croffles were fresh, crunchy, and sweet, paired perfectly with vanilla ice cream. We ended up sitting near the front door, but there was an extended part of the cafe into the other side of the wall, where a lot of people were studying. It's a lovely place with beautiful decor. It's so silent, you can hear a pin drop. I think we'll have to come back to try all their snack and food options another time!
My friend and I came here on a Saturday around 1:30pm. I was amazed by how big and airy the space felt. Many young people were already seated, laptops out and headphones on, but there was still plenty of room. We spent a long time debating what to get, and thankfully, the worker was very patient. I gasped when I saw our food! I think one spaghetti could feed two people, that's how huge the serving was. The kimbob was also two times larger than normal, making it impossible to eat in one bite. The real stars of the show were the iced drinks. They were sweet and refreshing. The Watermelon Slush especially tasted very fresh and high-quality.

It's set up like a little town. There's a ton of tables and they have outlets as well. It makes a great spot for studying or getting work done. You order at the counter and they'll let you know when your order is ready. Their drinks are pretty good, but not the best. Their food is delicious. Their kimbap was HUGE. It surprised me. I'll definitely be coming back to try more on their menu.
My friends and I usually go for the croffle. When I do go to the cafe, I usually get a flan drink which is not overly sweet. The prices are not high, and it is a great spot to study or even talk to friends. They have a buzzer, and it rings when your order is ready.

Walking in, the store has a very calm vibe with mellow music that's perfect to do work, and a different yet still visually appealing design. I don't really know how to explain the design to be honest. lol. The spot may not be designed for studying, and just a place for people to chill and catch up; however, lots of students and work from home individuals enjoy coming here. The kimbap is decent, nothing stands out but definitely made well, the sauce being a great addition. As for the wings, these are a MUST try. TOP TWO imo behind San Tung in SF. I usually get the spicy garlic, and I believe it has the perfect kick, flavor, and texture, excelling on all levels in terms of taste. This may well be an exaggeration, but from time to time, getting it multiple times, they are some of the best wings I've ever had. I would say, something with some acidity would really pair well, but stand alone, these are phenomenal. Tried the sweet spicy too it was really good if you that flavor, consistent texture across flavors. As for drinks, they're all solid again, nothing stands out but not bad at all. One of their newer drinks is a mix of coffee and matcha foam, which surprisingly pairs really well, and I find myself reordering it often. Despite the great review thus fair, as a student that needs to do some work for school occasionally, I don't know why but almost every time, anything related to school will not load on my devices, which is frustrating and a hassle. Aside from that, great spot!

Cafe Orange is a step above other study places since it offers food and non-caffeinated options as well. I got the Americano and my girlfriend got the watermelon slushy. For parking, it was in a shared plaza. I went on a Saturday and it was pretty packed at that time. They do not accept American Express. However, they do accept VISA cards. The only drawback was one of the rooms did not have A/C, so it was a bit hotter on that side. Eventually, we moved the other side as it was more ventilated.

The front is more brightly lit, while the second is much moodier and dimly lit. They recommend getting one drink per person if you are coming here to study/use the tables if it is busier. I ordered the jasmine milk tea, and it was very good! Strong jasmine flavor and good milkiness. I had initially gotten a regular, but upgraded to a large because there is a $6 minimum if you are using a credit card to pay for your items. Most of the tables against the walls have outlets, but not so much for the free standing tables. They offer a lot of Korean food options as well if you're looking for a bite to eat. The atmosphere was on the quieter side and they play jazzy piano music as well on the speaker if you like that kinda vibe.

I was looking for a nice spot to work remotely and stumbled upon the cutest coffee-date setting. One side is bright and quiet, perfect if you need some focus and isolation. The other side looks like a tiny city , little storefront-style décor that makes you feel like you're walking through a dreamy Paris/Seoul fusion. If I'm ever in the area, I'm definitely coming back here to work, study, and bring my wife when we want a cozy coffee date. I ordered the bulgogi kimbap and a flight of inari sushi cups : so good. The inari sushi boats were delicious! I got the spicy tuna ($11). An inari boat is essentially a sweet glazed tofu wrapper around a mound of rice, topped with a generous scoop of spicy tuna and fresh jalapeño slices. A fair warning: the jalapeño slices come with seeds, so if you bite into one directly, it'll clear out your sinuses and take the heat up a whole level! The kimbap was excellent as well (also $11). I went with the bulgogi and was not disappointed: it's like Korean BBQ in sushi form, wrapped in seaweed, flavorful and satisfying. I absolutely loved it. Also the dude behind the counter was super helpful and super hospitable.
I used to study at Orange Cafe in high school, so it was nice to visit and see that it's still open and offering the same good food and good vibes as it used to. It is quite big for a cafe, with a main cafe area and then a secondary room with lots of tables. Everyone there is usually very quiet, so I would highly recommend this spot to study at. For food, I got the spicy pork cupbob. It is a rice bowl topped with gochujang marinated pork, japchae, steamed veggies, and a drizzle of kewpie mayo. It is super simple, but a well-balanced meal, especially for fueling up when you're studying.
I genuinely believe Cafe Orange has the best spicy tuna sushi roll ($8) and have been going every week just to order it. The tuna to rice ratio depends on who is working that day. I also got the spicy california roll ($8) which was pretty good!

This is an adorable little shop! The food is all delicious and very well priced, the service was amazing, the lady was very sweet to deliver our food even though we had a buzzer to come pick it up. This is one of my favorite cafes to hang out with friends and sketch at! From the outside, it looks unassuming, but the inside is super spacious. They have a separate area full of seating that's decorated to look like you're in an outdoor cafe with cute building facades. There's lots of natural light there too, which is always nice. Cafe Orange makes the best croffles, hands down! They're always warm, crispy, and generously topped with whipped cream, fresh fruit, and more. I got the strawberry croffle, and my friend got the banana brulee croffle. Both of them were decadent while not being overly sweet. Their portions are generous too - with each order, you get two croffles. Double the deliciousness!! I usually get non-caffeinated drinks or drinks with less caffeine since I come later in the day. I enjoy their yogurt smoothies, and I also like their honey citron teas. Their drinks aren't too sweet, but adjustments can always be made when ordering. They offer other Korean foods and snacks like kimbap, tteokbokki, ramen, and more. I noticed a lot of students come here to study or do work, and it's perfect because you can get a drink, food, and study in relatively quiet environment. Cafe Orange is such a cute shop. I really like the side room where you can play games, sit and talk, or get work done. I ordered one of the iced teas and it was good! Finishing up a yummy meal at Sookdal and needed dessert. It just a few doors down from it in a small strip mall. Parking is tight btw. They offer food like ramen, kimbap, popcorn chicken as well as coffee drinks and teas, dessert. It's a bright cheery place with an adjoining room where people can get a drink or meal while they study. We shared the Nutella croffle ($14) with strawberry and banana and topped with the house cream. Yum! Easily shared. One of our party was still hungry so she ordered the rosè Tteokbokki. It was big! The spice level wasn't much- maybe 2-3? I'm a weenie when comes to spice and I was able to handle. The tteok was nice and chewy and the sauce was tasty and creamy. Thumbs up! Cafe Orange is an OG study spot in the Garden Grove area and a cozy Korean-inspired cafe. This spot is located in a plaza with a decent amount of parking spots. Inside, their seating section is divided into two sections: one general seating section with about 5-6 tables for seating and then another section for those studying with about 7-8 tables for seating. For their menu, they have a nice selection of different drinks and bites to choose from. I opted for the Cafe Orange Slush which consisted of orange and mango. I enjoyed my drink and enjoyed lounging around in their cozy space. Overall, this is a great spot to come get some work done or just unwind from all the hustle and bustle. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Come stop by and experience some cozy vibes with some amazing food and drinks! read more

Individually crafted, flavorful coffee beverage and large seating area. I tried the Banana Cream Coffee and was immediately impressed by how delicious the banana cream accented the flavor of the coffee. I am definitely coming back, stay tuned the bulgogi ramen is next on my list. read more
My friend and I decided to come here for a small bites and study. I haven't been here in years and the only thing that changed was their menu! Ambiance can get pretty noisy if you wanted to do work here so highly recommend brining earphones. read more

Cafe Orange got me through my masters program, so I definitely have a soft spot for it. It's a nice cafe with two sections, one that's where you order with long tables and outlets, and another section that's mainly seating and some outlets. I prefer sitting in the area with more seating since the restrooms are right there, and the long tables fill up so fast. The food and drinks come out pretty promptly, and the times I've been there the cashiers have been amicable. I've tried multiple menu items: - Earl grey citron teas (7/10): typical tea, pretty sure it's the honey citron you can get from Hmart. I do like how you can ask for hot water to refill your cup and drink several rounds of it. - Peach lychee tea (6/10): refreshing! - DBK with cheese and bulgogi (6/10): not the biggest fan of DBK but my sister wanted to try it out. Pretty tasty, wasn't too chewy and I appreciated the cheese pulls. - Cupbol (spicy/regular chicken, spicy pork, and bulgogi) (8/10): my go-to! It's filling and pretty tasty. They pack it with meat and I love the sauce. - Garlic soy wings (5/10): generic Korean fried chicken, not as good as an actual Korean Chicken spot but still pretty solid. Kind of pricey though for what it's worth. - Tuna kimbop (8/10): my favorite! The rolls are huge and it's difficult to eat one whole, but always worth a try. read more

This is one of my go-to spots for studying. There's a very spacious indoor section where you can sit, and a good number of outlets are available along the wall. I ordered the tteokbokki and veggie gimbap combo, which came with a drink of my choice--I picked the white peach San Pellegrino. This place is great if you're looking for a spot to chat with friends or get some work done. Parking is adequate and easy to find in the plaza. However, I've noticed they've recently increased their food prices since my last visit a few months ago. read more

Came across CO thru a yelp search ~ Vibe was quiet and intimate. Feels like a place where you can study &/or work. Ordered: Ice Blended Peach Mango, Iced Peach Lychee Tea, Tofu & Bulgogi Cupbob. They have a variety of items on their menu for both food & drinks (definitely want to try a combo next time!) The timing of when the drinks and food were ready were quite reasonable. It seems like everything is made to order. Tofu cupbop was delicious and tasted fresh. Was not expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. The japchae inside is soooo delicious as well! I really feel that some seaweed flakes on top would make it even more impeccable! My peach lychee tea was delicious. One of the best peach lychees I've ever had at a cafe/tea shop. The girl who took my order was also very nice and sweet as well. I look forward to coming back. read more

Can't say too much about the food because I didn't purchase any.... Did purchase a hot oolong tea though and JESUSSS... almost $7.00 just for a cup of tea....wow have prices gotten out of hand... Study-wise... I came here in the late AM and appreciated the atmosphere. Definitely plenty of seating. Outlets are scattered about and mangas are available for reading. :) Will come again perhaps to try the food and possibly leave a better review... until then, shy away from the plain tea... oof read more
This is a very cute cafe; it gives off a cute downtown alley vibe. Lots of cute decorations and plants. I've been here a couple times to study with my boyfriend. We usually just come here for their drinks. Today we got their Spring Spade which is a green apple sparkling drink. It kind of tastes like a jolly rancher. I think it has a nice sour taste along with the carbonation. I also their Orange passion tea, it was very refreshing for this hot day. They play some music in the background but it's kind of quiet here. Even when there are other people here. I think the only complaint was that there wasn't AC but it was better than being outside. Maybe next time i'll try their kimbap or other savory food here. :) read more
Still love this place BUT we discovered they don't have fries??? How do they have CHICKEN fries but not regular fries? Weird but ok! Ocean spade SLAYED. It wasn't too carbonated! Nice and refreshing. 4 people shared the croffle and we were super satisfied! Overall, again, a nice clean place that's super cute and good for studying or hanging out! Didn't realize how known this place was for studying! I came in the afternoon and practically studied all day so I'm grateful food and drinks were sold here. I got the DBK with Seasalt Iced Coffee. I would probably opt for the Rose DBK next time due to how creamy it is because the regular DBK needed a little more something. There was an option to add more things in which I would take into account next time. As for the flavor, it was spicy and perfectly seasoned. If you can't handle spice, I would suggest ordering a different dish to better accomodate your taste buds. The coffee on the other hand was pretty bitter and not sweet by any means. I had to add in packets of sugar and creamer to get it to the right flavor that I wanted. There were other drinks to choose from that might work better for my taste buds! The study area is spacious and connected with the main restaurant. Wifi was great, but they did have the same playlist rotating since afternoon until closing haha The chairs were a bit uncomfortable after sitting for a long time, but if you're just here for a meal, it won't be a problem. I'll definitely be back in the future for any study needs. read more
Would come back for the croffle. Only thing is that it is a little inconsistent. One was really soggy and undercooked while the other one was cooked properly. Overall the drinks was a little disappointing. Would come back for different deserts though. read more

Awesome food, drinks, and atmosphere and the service was excellent too. This place is truly a hidden gem. This charming café has the feel of a small art gallery, and you can enjoy not only coffee but also a full meal. I'm pretty sure it's one of a kind in OC! You won't regret coming here! read more
