Always good, great prices, big portions, and friendly staff. I've always been too full to think about desserts!

I have been coming to this Location since it opened and it always hits the spot. Great food and great service every time. I believe I have eaten the entire menu by now but I always find my way back to the country boy breakfast or the country girl as my baby likes to call it. Me and my baby had the same but one with ham and one with bacon. The bacon could be a tad crispier but tastes great regardless and the ham is always tender and yummy. Decided to get a cup of chili to elevate the scrambled eggs. The cup of chili is a bowl anywhere else so be prepared to share or be really full. The prices are great for the amount of food you get so what are you waiting for, get going. No complaints, just empty plates. Country Boy Breakfast. $11.99. - 8/10 Two of our giant buttermilk pancakes served with three large country eggs and your choice of ham, bacon, or sausage. Add Golden Hash Browns $2.99. Cup of Chili. $5.99. - 7/10 The chili is a basic ground beef style chili, it has a decent flavor and pairs nicely with numerous items on the menu.

This was one of the worst meals I have ever had. Normally the food is good but this cook does not know how to drain grease. I will not go back

Great food and plenty of it! Really most plates can be split! Everything is made plate size and taste great! My favorite is the loaded potato with meat toppings! Really is two potatoes put together. For breakfast, the pancakes are the size of the plate. I love going back to try different things. Tons of options on the menu!

The corn bread was really dry, and my boyfriend almost died after eating it and we asked for water and they took forever.

Chick-N-Run Hot Chicken & Wings is a little hidden gem in Friendswood that I discovered on Facebook…read morein a local foodie group. It is off a main road but pretty easy to miss if you are not looking for it. I just happened to be in the area and checked my bookmarks for something close and was reminded to check this place out. I pulled up to a empty parking lot on a Sunday afternoon. There was one table waiting on their food. Customer service was great. I'm not sure who took my order, but he gave me owner or manager vibes as he sat working on a laptop between customers. The screens above the cash register where the menu is displayed was off so I had to use a paper menu on the counter. I wouldn't say I'm a big Nashville hot chicken guy, but every once in awhile I get a craving for it. The name of the restaurant implies they have wings, but I did not see it on the menu or ask about them. That would usually have been my go to at a chicken spot. The item that did stand out to me was the Korean Chicken. I was told it's a popular item and I could pick my spice level. It already comes with white rice but you can make it a combo with fries and a drink. I went that route but also added fried okra because fried okra is always a must. I see other reviews commenting about store bought products and what not. That doesn't bother me as long as my food taste good. For example, I saw frozen fries but they were cooked perfect and seasoned just right. My only complaint would be the use of bottled drinks instead of a soda fountain. When serving spicy food, ice and refills would come in clutch! Back to the food. My good came out piping hot and it smelled delicious. The portions were huge and I immediately asked for a to go box. It was easily two full sized meals. The Korean chicken had a very tasty glaze on them and packed some heat. It had me sweating but was very enjoyable. I only wish that it was a little more crispy as Korean Fried Chicken usually is. Fries were from a bad but good. The okra was so delicious and seasoned just right with a touch of salt. Not a healthy meal by any means but very good. Overall, I'm glad I finally got a chance to check this place out. It is out of the way, but I would most definitely come back if in the area.

Dang good chicken, I had the tenders,…read more Warning, they are large so order the 4 piece unless you're starving! I will return for sure. I was headed to Popeye's when I noticed this proverbial hole in the wall. Like Arnold said "I'll be back"
