    Redfish over crawfish risotto

Food was amazing! Order two waters so you don't have to wait for a refills...Chef Tito came out and let us sample the Lamb Nachos they serve for Brunch on Sundays. We'll def be hitting that up after church sometime soon.

    Short Rib Grilled Cheese

The spinach and artichoke dip was absolutely incredible--rich, creamy and cheesy! The atmosphere is cozy and nicely decorated, perfect for a date night. I had the Mike & Jen which was really great, my husband had the short rib grilled cheese which was good just wish it had more meat, the fries were nice and crispy!

So much potential here but they were understaffed - the bar tender was also the waitress for two huge tables. Mixed drinks were a little weak and the food was average. Way too much BBQ sauce on the short ribs and both steaks at the table were overcooked. Lives the candle bread and everyone was really nice so hoping they work out the kinks! Cute place!

My wife and I came for dinner last Saturday night (10/18/25) around 6:30pm. The restaurant was about half full, so we were seated immediately. Our waitress, Raine, was very attentive. She brought out menus, explained some of the house created drinks, told us about the specials and took our drink order. We ordered the Candle Bread (after seeing them in reviews and on two other tables), salads, the Snapper Piccata, the Texas Redfish and shared a peach bread pudding with bourbon cream sauce. Everything was delicious. I could not find a single thing to take issue with. I'm not a fan of snapper but my wife's dinner was very tasty. The redfish was excellent and didn't need the crawfish cream topping but was a tasty addition. I was impressed by the tomato risotto. The dining area has around 16 tables and the small bar has 5-6 chairs. I could get loud if every seat was taken but the noise level was pretty low for being half full. We could easily carry on a normal conversation. We will be going back to Grazia to check out the rest of the menu.

    Happy Hour Food Menu(10/13/2025)

Came during the "soft opening" phase & had high hopes for the new Grazia concept in Alvin. 3 visits after full operations are running & I have not been disappointed. Happy Hour 3-6pm Monday-Friday is a must-visit with their perfectly portioned/priced food options. Been for lunch, dinner, & Happy Hour.... Next stop: Brunch!

Consistently good food every time I go. Worth the trip from League City. Great price point for the elevated quality.

I ordered a braised short rib hoagie like it said on the menu, but I got 2 pieces of toast with the tiniest amount of who knows what on it.

We don't talk about Alvin, TX enough so let me shed some light on this great place. I've had…read moreGordon Street Tavern on my list for awhile for the simple fact that they sell scotch eggs. You just don't see that often and I wanted to try it. The stars aligned and my family and I met up here for a weeknight dinner. Alvin is the true definition of a small town. It is just south of Pearland and life moves a little slower out here. Atleast for time being as it is becoming more developed now. The building itself is old and full of character. Everyone seemed to know each other. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, but service was a tad bit slow at times. My family isn't a big drinking family so we stuck with water and sodas, but they have quite a nice bar program here. They have a really impressive beer selection, a long list of specialty cocktails and lots of wine to choose from. I'm definitely coming back to check that out without the fam. For appetizers, we got an order of the scotch eggs and the Bavarian pretzel sticks. This was my first introduction to scotch eggs and a wonderful one at that. You really can't go wrong with anything wrapped in sausage and deep friend. It was a nice treat and something I will not be sharing next time. The pretzels were also very good. Our waitress suggested some cheese sauce to accompany those. These sticks of goodness were excellent. For my entree, I was stuck on a few items as their menu is pretty extensive. Our waitress said my option for the Pork Milanesa was the way to go, so I did. I've had milanesa at Mexican restaurants, but never in a tavern nor prepared this way. This was hand battered in panko and then topped with a mushroom gravy. It comes with broccoli and mashed potatoes but I substituted the veggie for mac and cheese. This dish was very good and the portions were very generous. Enough for me to have a full second meal minus the sides. The pork was thinly pounded and kept it's crunch even doused in gravy. The gravy was rich and very delicious. My family got a mix of items like the philly cheese steak, flat iron steak salad, tavern salad, and chicken fried steak. For research purposes and for my loyal readers, I tried everything. There wasn't anything that was bad to me. We were full so desserts didn't happen on this trip. Overall, Gordon Street Tavern is a solid spot that I would happily return to if in the area.
