This spot is GORGEOUS! Ever since I've been in my plant mom era, I've found a new appreciation for plant and floral decor. Dear Han has floral decorations covering their counters and walls and I couldn't love it any more. A post early dinner chai tea was had here and since the storefront said coffee and treats, I needed to stop in for a post dinner treat as well. We walked in around 4:30p and there didn't seem to be a lot of treats left but we were able to snag a brownie to accompany my hot chai tea latte. The chai tea was great (I'm very picky with my chai and this was spot on). I am writing this review as I finish my brownie from yesterday and it stayed very well. A bit more cakey rather than fudgey. I like my brownies a little more fudgey but it was still well made. They did have macarons left and they are outsourced from Macaron Cafe. They looked great with some awesome flavors. The savory menu options looked really good and I would come for brunch in a heartbeat! Something to note: laptops and tablets are not allowed here from 11:30a to 4:30p. If you're looking for a place to work during this time, it's not going to be here.

Ate here today for lunch by myself while working as a temporary substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 361 Q. I had brought and ate the fruit waffles with a side of small hot tea and it had tasted really good and delicious. The service there was also attentive, understanding and the place seems quiet. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

Service is always excellent here and I'm grateful for that. I came here a few times but just for a black coffee, nothing too fancy BUT this weekend i made it my mission to stop by and stay for a while since the cafe has a cozy vibe. I had the bulgogi sandwich which HIT!! I certainly recommend having a bite.

Came here before my flight and they packed the avocado toast super compact so it was easy to bring with me and withstood getting tossed around. Macarons were 3.25 each but decently sized and I tried the honey lavender and it was super yummy! The avocado toast is a thick bread and thick layer of avocado. The flavor is great and I loved the lettuce on top definitely made it better! Service was slow , but the server was extremely friendly and nice. Would come back again if im ever in queens!

Overall their coffee drinks are pretty good Really good cold brew and black sesame einspanner. Their matcha was a miss though. The service is usually Friendly and the ambiance is very chill and cozy so I like doing my work here. The food items are a bit expensive though.

I'm actually so sad to be writing this but this is my second altercation getting yelled at here. The first time, I just let it slide but I walked in this morning at 7 am - doors were open - and I just wanted to grab a quick coffee! A woman started yelling at me to get out & that they aren't open. I basically got pushed out & she locked the door on me?? This was such a rude altercation and not the greatest start to my morning! Please don't leave the door open if you are closed!!! Also, there's a better tone to speak to someone! You don't know what a person is going through & yelling at them does not help!

We stopped here to take a rest from walking and grab a drip coffee. The barista was super kind and helpful the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. The bathroom was very clean and there was enough seating throughout the cafe. It would be a great place to study because the music was loud enough to cover the conversations of others, but not distracting.

Very fast service. The place had guests, but enough space you didn't feel on top of each other. I looks like they use Counter Culture coffee from Durham, NC. And for those walking around NY and need a restroom, they have a key available on the counter if you purchase.

Dear Han Cafe is a cute location to have a quick bite and coffee in Woodside. Located about 3 blocks from the LIRR and Transit it is a nice location to stop in when you're in route to other area destinations. The shop has space for dining in with high top tables, some lower tables and cushioned seating. The decor has floral touches with a combo of plants and dried flowers. The service is good. Friendly and polite. I had iced coffee and a slice of cheesecake (Juniors) to dine in with a friend. We shared the slice which came plated with a chocolate drizzle design on the bottom. The atmosphere was relaxing and didn't feel rushed. A few people were working on laptops or meeting with a small group of friends. It's a nice addition to the area and I will definitely be back for another visit soon.

I went here nearly every day with my friend for coffee and food for breakfast! The workers are extremely nice and hospitable, it felt like i was a guest in their home! It's the type of place where they recognize you as regulars The coffee shop is cute too. The bulgogi quesadilla is so sooooo good. I would say: 1) bulgogi quesadilla 2) croissant sandwich 3) avocado toast Everything was a pretty great serving size and i always left full as well.

Service is literally a snails pace. Took 30 min for my coffee to come out! The cashier just kept taking orders and refused to make any of the drinks, causing people to order and pay and then have to wait a ridiculously long time for their orders but were essentially stuck because they had paid already. Sadly the coffee is amazing, but I have to give 1 star because of my recent experiences. read more

This simple cafe in Woodside area located close to the subway station somewhat has become one of my favorite coffee shops whenever I think about New York, especially Queens. I don't know if it's the vibe of the cafe or the coffee they serve or the friendliness of the staffs but this place feels like an Oasis in the midst of the immensely hectic surrounding. Whenever I blah in the afternoon or not excited or need something to wake me up in the morning, an iced americano from this place seems to always be a good idea. The coffee is not too strong to be honest but since I have quite low tolerance to caffeine, it's perfect for me. read more

I was walking by and needed a quick lunch. I stopped by Dear Han Cafe and I had the best lunch! I got a BLT sandwich and an almond croissant. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and the pastry was so fresh. Great atmosphere and vibe. Love this place. read more

I have to walk pass by two chainstore coffee places just to get coffee here, so you know it's good! The service here is amazing! it can get slow at times when there are a lot of people ordering since there is usually only 1-2 people working, but I don't mind it. I read some negative comments about the lady working there and honestly I've never seen her being mean to anyone or to me whenever I go. I honestly think it could just be a language barrier issue. This place was run by another guy before but the new owners freshen this place up a lot and for the better! Overall.. I'm a happy customer! :) read more

The cafe serves great coffee but the laptop policy makes no sense. They do not allow laptops on weekends but they do not care about IPads, etc. It also seems that the cafe is detering people from staying by blasting their music as loud as they can. read more

This is a great cafe ! I have came here before they have renovated the area and it was quite a change. I would say that this cafe has a great vibe and atmosphere and has soothing music unlike others. Great study and hangout area with your friends if you need to grab a drink or some coffee. They also have food and snacks if you ever get hungry. The baristas were extremely nice especially this girl named Blair who was very welcoming. Definitely a recommended cafe to come to. For starters there coffee is out right amazing, but this place is not a cafe and should be consider a drive through menu instead you can't work bring anything and I mean anything from outside even if you buy there coffee and there extremely strict on the policy. A cafe should be a place to relax work maybe clear your mind out. Most moms and pop cafe through the city allow for someone buying coffee to be able to take there laptop out and work. If that's not the case open at 4am close at 9am just serve to the public taking the train in the morning. Again coffee is great. But man those rules are insane for 2021 kinda also comes out insensitive to the Hispanics and maybe the homeless around the area. read more

Food: I walked by this cafe and was looking forward to trying some of their breakfast foods, but they no longer serve many items that used to be on their food menu. They now only serve drinks, pastries, and croffles. I tried the almond croissant and a ham, cheese, and onion pastry. Both were good but nothing too special. They were heated up, but I wish they were a bit hotter. Service: The staff are very friendly there! Ambiance: The cafe is a good size for both large and small groups. It's amazing that they've added outdoor seatings where I can enjoy their coffee& pastries with sunlight. I love Dear Han's americano and cold brew. They can't be compared to any other franchise coffee. It's just another level. The price looks a bit high but you'll know totally worth it once you taste. read more

Besides the corner cafe that's been serving the community for ages, I'm glad to see dedicated coffee shops finally sprouting on this side because it needed one badly. The best part is that it's Greek-owned, which is a testament that Astoria's Greek presence is still very strong-- and I'm sure most of the Greek residents would continue to show out for its fellow Greeks. Although the café offered both indoor and outdoor seating, they had all the glass doors and windows wide open, which meant that whether you were seated inside or out, the heat was unbearable. I was grateful I had arrived early to assess the situation. When I asked a staff member if they typically kept the air conditioning off, hoping to gauge my future visits, she replied, "Well, everyone wants to sit outside; it's such a beautiful day." In reality, it was the farthest thing from beautiful--a day where staying indoors seemed like the only option. I found it hard to believe that a business like this wouldn't offer air-conditioned comfort for its patrons. Thankfully, I quickly searched for another café nearby, called them, and confirmed they had indoor seating with AC. I headed over to Moa, where it was refreshingly cool, with plenty of seating and, of course, fantastic coffee. Sometimes, a little detour leads to a much better experience!
