The Iced Banana Oat Latte was slightly disappointing because the banana was sour/bitter. I don't know if it was not as fresh or if that happened once it mixed with the espresso but it didn't come together well. They have a solid range of desserts and pastries on display. There's $2.50 cucumber tea sandwiches or Lipton tea with lemon if you're looking to be a very cheap date. It's hard for a cafe to compete with the pink chai down the block when I'm going out of my way to come to this part of the neighborhood, but for somewhere to work, read or hang with a friend I would definitely choose First Cup, and I will be back for more banana pudding and another fun latte.

The view is nice too, since you're looking out onto the street and can watch people walk by. They also seem to have a solid variety of pastries and food items, so definitely check those out. He recommended for my date an espresso martini which they absolutely loved, they said it was the best they've ever had. I'm so glad I did because it was so great and not to sweet with a great kick of chai spice. What I also saw was they switch over to dinner and booze at night. The person taking my order was friendly and he gave me my croissant in a paper bag while another barista made my latte. The drink was milky, sweet, with a good blend of the honey, vanilla, and cinnamon flavors once you give it a stir. The almond croissant was delicious and flaky.
