Their meat especially is top quality. There is no better meat market around. What really sets them apart however is their customer service. From the moment I walk in, I'm always greeted by the cashiers. And the butchers will answer 1000 questions to make sure the customer is satisfied. They just go above & beyond and you can tell they really care about the customer's experience, as well as the quality of their meat/products. I really appreciate excellent customer service when I see it, and that's definitely what you will receive here! So I checked YELP for recommendations and discovered Joyview Meat Market, and I'm glad I did. The first thing that hit me when I walked in the door was the smell of burning wood. It gave the place the feeling of being in a lodge with a cozy fire. Since it was Christmas Eve, the place was busy, but there was plenty of staff on hand to move things along. Everyone was happy and pleasant. Maybe it was the season, but I'm sure a good part of it was meeting and greeting loyal customers. Many of the people I met had been coming to Joyview for years. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Greg. I told him I was a new customer, and we ended up talking shop for quite some time. He's very proud of being part of four generations of butchers and owning and operating his fine shop. The market had a wide variety of meats on display. Everything seemed very high quality. I was pleasantly surprised to see Srodek's pierogi in the refrigerated case since my family loves them. Oh, and if you're looking for great smoked kielbasa, Joyview makes their own kielbasa (fresh and smoked), and it's wonderful. So, back to the Prime Rib, the star of our Christmas Day dinner. It was fabulous - so juicy and tender. It just melted in our mouths. Everyone raved about it so much that we have decided to make Joyview Meat Market our only destination for high quality meat.
