This was surprisingly the pizza experience my taste buds needed! You can tell this pizza was made with absolute love in the best way. It's hands down one of the top in south Florida and I consider myself a pizza connoisseur so I know my dough. We finally got to try it since it was Wine Wednesday (50% off!). First of all, the place is very cute and cozy. It can get a tad loud at times between the music and the amount of people but it didn't bothered us much. We order the salad and burrata to start. Both were stellar. The salad was so fresh and light but still packed a punch of flavor. The burrata was really nice but the star of the show there are the tomatoes. Now for the pizza. These are GOOD pizzas. If you like Neapolitan style pizza this is it. The dough is flavorful and balanced. They didn't smothered them in cheese so you don't feel like you're eating a mozzarella stick. And the flavor combinations are on point. We couldn't pick a favorite that night. We also got a Margherita to go (not pictured) and while it's really good we all thought it was a tad salty. But then again it says it has sea salt on top - maybe they should skip it. Overall the pizza was good. Pricing is not the cheapest ($18-$25) for a pizza. The portions are single serve. But if you order an appetizer two can share a pizza. I think. Would I come back? Probably yes. read more

The food was delicious! The meatballs were our favorite - we ended up getting 2 orders because our toddler was devouring them. They have a great happy hour that is definitely worth checking out. 4-6 pm 50% beer and wine and 25% off all food. The service was impeccable! This pizza place has only been open one week we went tonight wasn't crowded. It's very noisy as the crowd comes in. The pizza was good. I really like the crust small pizza only four slices so it's pricey for four slices. We also had the Caesar salad, which was a nice presentation of long leaves of lettuce with a little bit of Parmesan and garlic. The waitress was nice. They've made it really interesting inside. It's red and black parking is always a problem on Atlantic Avenue. They have a few outdoor seats. read more

I saw this place was new, and had to try it. Being a pizza snob, I liked the pictures! I am from NYC, and do not usually eat pizza out of NYC, but this was right up there with some of my favorites! We were served by Kayla. Service was excellent. They have a busser, Janet who was constantly on the move, checking on people. Saw the chef go to tables as well. As for the food, it was really a very good meal. We started with the Ceasar Salad, that you eat with your hands! Loved it! You eat pizza with your hands, so why not?? Then we had the Blooming Fig pie, which was absolutely delicious. It was screaming with flavor! Perfectly cooked for me! People are complaining this place is expensive...... it's not! I didn't think Delray needed another pizza spot but after going to Gesto I'm now wondering if I should ever go to any other pizza restaurant The pizza is simply amazing with crust that is like a billowy pillow. I wanna give this 4 or 5 but here is my experience. Pizza was delicious, salad was good. However my wife found the crust chewy and way to much of it. Ingredients are mostly in the center and not spread out well. I get thats the style but could have had a little less crust. Secondly the pizza arrived cold and 1 of them 1/2 burnt. The other almost burnt. So even heating it up again only made it worse. Maybe they upgrade their cooking and delivery. read more

Great service , parking is a little hard to find so get there a bit earlier than your reservation. The pizza is phenomenal and so is there selection of beers and wines. Gesto has a great staff and the restaurant is casual and nice looking. The menu is very limited with not too many choices. Started off with a salad that was okay, then a basic pie which was okay and then dessert which was okay and that really was the theme The pizza didn't have much flavor and was quite forgettable and so was everything else. Dropped by tonight a little before closing and was lucky enough to meet Chef Gary and the crew. While I got takeout, I had the chance to checkout the inside which has a great cozy and inviting feel. And if you pick the right spot you can watch your pizza being made. The pizza itself is wood fired and different than most in the vicinity which makes for a unique experience. My wife and I absolutely loved it and we will definitely be frequenting Gesto's. Cherry on top was the staff who were all extremely friendly and welcoming. Big thumbs up on this one! read more

Had high hopes for this place because I really like Amar. Service was good, menu limited but not a big deal if the food is good. We didn't get drinks and just got two pizzas, after tip came to $60. The pizzas were okay, not worth the cost for the size that they are. The best part was probably the crust but I don't think it compares to other places that have neopolitan pizza on their menu on the ave. It would help if they had a pasta option to compliment the pizzas if they're going to charge the price that they are. read more

Tenderoni and 215 social -dough has great flavor where you don't mind eating the crust! Only recommendation would be to make the honey on the Tenderoni a hot honey (it's a bit too sweet unless you get a bite of pepper with it). I originally thought the sauce was sweet but realized it was just the honey, if it were a hot honey it would be delicious! We had our first meal at this new restaurant and were pleasantly surprised about the care and effort put into the ingredients in every dish. Modern decor. Wonderful Happy hour 4-6 50% off wine/beer 25% off food. The taste of the pizza transported us to an artisanal experience that is hard to come by in south Florida. The entire meal had the best flavors and made us realize this is no ordinary pizza restaurant. The dough is not something that is made quickly. They wait 7 days for it to mature and each bite definitely reflect the complexities of the best ingredients used. Even the dessert isn't an afterthought. Try the olive oil cake. I promise you will love all of the dishes. The service was awesome and we were greated with a warm welcome. We felt well taken care of the entire time. Gary the chef curated the menu and is very passionate about his craft. He explained how everthing is made in house. This is definitely a labor of love for him.
