TLDR: Great place give it a try. Being new to the area one of the first spots we looked for was a Thai restaurant....and we were stunned to have one with such great reviews just a few minutes away. The online ordering was simple and quick, the only thing I would say could be improved would be the ability to remove ingredients from a dish (I have some picky eaters). Walking into the restaurant to pick up my order I was happy to see it very clean and fresh looking, not run down or lacking in care. The employees were cordial and handed me my order. We splurged a bit on the first order wanting to try several dishes and I can say we were very happy with the food. Quality of the ingredients was great, taste was fresh and tasty. The ability to add ingredients to the order made me quite happy as a non-picky eater! I started with the basil chicken and added sprouts and zucchini, and it was nothing short of perfect. The pad-Thai was really good, and the donuts for dessert were great. Just to see if it was a one time thing we ordered a few days later and it was just as good. This was my second visit to this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The service was quite slow. We ordered two appetizers, but only one arrived promptly. The second appetizer didn't come out until about 10 minutes later, which was frustrating. On my first visit, I had the green curry with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious--rich, flavorful, and one of the reasons I decided to return. However, on this visit, the same dish was completely different. The curry was watery and lacked flavor. It honestly tasted like an entirely different recipe. My parents ordered the Tiger Tear (Beef Salad) and Pad See Ew, and they were also disappointed with their meals. None of the dishes had the quality or flavor we experienced during our first visit. I'm not sure if there has been a change in the kitchen or a new chef, but the food quality has definitely declined. Sadly, based on this experience, we won't be returning. read more

This is the best Thai restaurant in my neighborhood. I love that it's only 5 minutes away and I am a regular customer. Their chicken Pad Thai and Pad See Ew with beef is amazing. I also like to get their pineapple fried rice which is also amazing and flavorful. The servers are both very nice and always pleasant to deal with. The decor and ambiance is nice and seems to have been basically carried over from the other owner Sammi, when it was called That Thai Restaurant. I was greeted by a friendly hostess and he took my order immediately. I advised him it was to go. He informed me it would take about 20 to 25 mins. The food came out in 15 minutes. I was actually happy it did because I was vamished. I drove back home which was about 4 to 5 minutes away. The food was still hot, the temperature. The food was perfectly seasoned with the flat rice noodles, chiken, and vegiies. I could pnly eat about hald of it. I was stuffed like a little piglet. After ordering some tasteful delights from this establishment I plan to go back and give their drunken noodles a try. I also tried their spring rolls. This cute little place tucked away in a strip mall is one of the best Thai restaurants I have eaten at. As soon as you walk in your greeted a seated right away. Are drink order was taken a then or order. We order appetizers spring rolls a shrimp fried dumplings which came out quick and very delicious. Not long after our entrées came out I had chicken pad Thai and my husband had the honey chicken. My pad Thai was perfect. I ordered it spicy and was just the right amount of spice. Honey chicken with some of the best honey chicken that I have eaten. Both dishes, perfect. The service was impeccable. We never needed anything. The Thai tea was perfect. Also love the best Thai tea that I have had. Just the right amount of everything. I highly recommend if you're in the area going there to eat. There is some of the best Thai food that I've had. We found ourselves in Orange City, Florida & chose Thai food for lunch. The restaurant was clean & the server was polite. I ordered Curry Tofu off the lunch menu. A small plate arrived with a scoop of rice, a scoop-size serving of the curry tofu, & a small spring roll. The spring roll was like mush inside, despite its crispy exterior. It is as if it had been frozen & then when it thawed it had some water in it. The curry tofu was very good, but the serving size was so tiny that I left the restaurant still hungry. We both agreed these were the smallest servings we'd ever seen in a restaurant. So I can only give this 3 stars. read more

I've had the the Pad Thai and drunken noodles, and both were delicious! Warning, it can get spicy quick, i would start at mild! The restaurant is pretty small, but its decorated quite nicely! I concur with the other reviewer. I thought that I was returning to That Thai restaurant, but discovered that it was now Debary Thai with new owners and a new menu. Don't expect the same quality and flavors. The peanut sauce was not as good, the portion was smaller and the price higher. The old That Thai is now DeBary Thai. The ambiance is still the same, regrettably the food isn't. The restaurant is clean and still features the same decor. The Tom Yum lost it's straw mushrooms and half it's flavor, it's still "Thai hot" but with none of the subtlety it had in the past. The Papaya salad had almost no fish sauce, again just bland heat.
