There is a McDonalds one block away. Gas station food. They were friendly and the prices were cheap. We had the CDP breakfast. One egg, one pancake, two slices of bacon and a side of hash browns. The has browns were good, the egg was an egg, the bacon was bacon and the pancake was a large, flat, vehicle for unremarkable syrup. Would not recommend. There are not a lot of choices here for Sunday Brunch, next time we come this way we will probably try the Big Cup Eatery and Bar. If a full parking lot is any indication of quality. read more

It's relatively modest with the basics, but the wife said the biscuits were really good. I had a pancake, which was ok, some bacon, a sausage, scrambled eggs, fruit, and juice which was extra. The food is simple and plain but if the goal is to fill your belly, it works. The reason for 3 stars is that they do not social distance their tables and few people wore masks. Came here for breakfast while camping at Dinosaur Valley State Park. There's not a whole lot of cooked to order breakfast options near the park, so we ended up here. The inside is a bit rustic and pretty basic. Went with an omelette, and it was good! Eggs were cooked well. Ordered my hash browns extra crispy, but they turned out more burned. Biscuit was fine. Gravy could use a bit of work. Oh well. Tried some of their homemade hot sauce, and it wasn't bad. They have weekly specials at a really great deal, though their prices are already pretty good. We absolutely love Debbie's, we went out to Glen Rose to stay at the sky box cabins for a romantic weekend away and decided to try Debbie's for breakfast when we came into town and we came back every morning after that for breakfast. Sheryl is an absolute rockstar and she is sweet and attentive as can be. The food is beyond delicious, the biscuits and gravy will make you never want to eat anywhere else and then the grits are off the charts. It's a small town diner, be nice. I've seen a couple reviews for this spot and they seem very cruel. Breakfast was very simple and there were many options to choose from. I visited with a family of 6 and I can say there was something for everyone. I had to pull a star because the French toast and hash browns had a weird aftertaste from the griddle. Almost like some thing may have burnt and our food pulled that flavor. Another star was pulled because there was a fly we could not get rid of and came in when the front door opened. Other than that, everything was fine and the waitress, who was working alone on Mother's Day, provided excellent service. There was a gentleman who helped bring out food from the kitchen, but otherwise the waitress ran the front area on her own and no one had to ask for anything because of the great service. My Open Face Breakfast needed salt. There isn't any salsa or Ch, so BYOS. No complaints on the coffee and the spot was clean. I would return again. read more

Prices are good but food was not. I hate not giving a good review because our server was great, but the food was not worth the drive. They had all you can eat waffles which my boys got. They reminded me of the limp waffles at motel breakfast bars. Coffee was weak. I asked for Honey. The honey was a honey blend (corn syrup first ingredient and honey was the last ingredient)) I really wanted to like this place. Again the server was nice, the place seemed clean. Small town diner with a small town atmosphere and good ole home cooking at a price that is amazing. Morning time and took the family here. Looking at the pricing I thought small portions. So I ordered a BLT and a breakfast burrito thinking they would be small. Opps. Mistake. The prices are very reasonable and the food portions generous. BLT delicious - but how can you mess up a BLT? And the breakfast burrito yummy and a substantial size. Needless to say after leaving, I was stuffed. Smoking in back, non smoking in front.
