Love the Triple G Cafe! If you are looking for good food that is reasonably priced in a casual atmosphere with the sweetest waitstaff, then this is your place. I always get the delicious club sandwich and, quite honestly, I have never had a club sandwich like this. It is huge!! I can't even eat the entire thing in one sitting. My dining companion always gets the patty melt and says that it's the best patty melt in both Hood and Somervell Counties. Triple G Cafe is about 15 minutes south of Granbury in Tolar and it very much worth the drive. Highly recommend!! read more

Very cute and cozy interior. We went for breakfast. Coffee was hot and plenty of it. Service was good and my food actually came out hot. {I'm a firm believer that hot food should be hot. All of it not just a portion of it and most restaurants they don't do that.} so I was happy. Standard breakfast. But upon paying I noticed fried pies in a case., bought two and would def go back for more. Wanted lemon and a rhubarb but ended up with blueberry and apple, both pretty good. This brand new restaurant is located right on the main drag in Toller. We happen to be driving by and quickly made a U-turn to come back and give it a try. Very glad that we did. Great breakfast menu but also had burgers and sandwiches and salads. After chatting with our Waitrose, we found out this was the folks who used to own Caris in Granbury. IYKYK! So excited to have a new option town. Also scored a cute coffee mug for $5 from their gift section that is wayyyy nicer than a $5 mug. OMG! The eggs, Benedict raveled Christina's American table in presentation and flavor. It was absolutely delicious. And had a way lower price. The waitress was attentive and quick. She kept my coffee cup full. The coffee was good too. It's part of Cari's restaurant in Granbury. The atmosphere was country with a small gift shop inside. It was just a fantastic little place. A new favorite breakfast place in the Tolar/Granbury area! Great French toast style Monte Cristo sandwiches. Tasty omelettes. One of the few places around to get crepes. Oh, and don't forget the fried pies for dessert (or to go)! Wait staff is always friendly and welcoming. Cool old historic building that's been saved by its new life as a cafe. My first meal here was breakfast, it was quite good, enjoyed the seasonal pumpkin pancake. It was an especially pleasant experience because some kind souls bought breakfast for me and my dad. The second time we tried Triple G, we picked up a Reuben sandwich and a hamburger - both very respectable renditions. The Reuben was on marbled rye, accompanying onion rings and French fries were very good. They have a large variety of fried pies in a case up front; we tried apricot and gave it a thumbs up. There is something for everyone in their selection. The restaurant itself is casual, clean and nicely appointed, wait staff friendly and helpful. Triple G is a welcome addition to the Stephenville restaurant scene. read more

Our first time trying this place for breakfast. Let me just say the staff are so friendly and so welcoming! It's cutely decorated too. But when I ordered, I just wanted a kids meal. I do this at most restaurants I go to, because I can't finish a regular sized meal. They denied me. Told me I couldn't order off it (even though it says nowhere on the menu kids only). I had a little girl with me, so I asked if I could just say it was for her and I was told no. My husband ordered the Monte Cresto, and he ate about half of it. He did not like it. The hashbrowns were good. I ended up just getting 2 slices of bacon. But my issue is we ordered a regular meal, why not let someone order off the kids menu? 2 pieces of bacon were way less money than just getting kids meal. I've always ordered kids meals and don't get denied, but here I did. We also ordered regular drinks. This place needs to let adults order off the kids menu. It doesnt hurt them, doesnt make them any less money. But of course I only got a side of bacon so they did lose money. read more

i am not one to leave reviews but this was ridiculous. i ordered a to go order tonight. a mushroom swiss burger and a grilled chicken sandwich. the chicken had the texture of rubber and the onion rings tasted like they were made in old grease. the bottom bun of my chicken sandwich was mush. i live a 4 minute walking distance from the location and drove so it had nothing to do with travel. the mushroom swiss burger barely had mushrooms and swiss cheese. very disappointing because i had heard great things about them. read more

"That food was legendary" - my boyfriend upon leaving. This place is deceiving from the outside. They took the building of a failed Chinese restaurant and turned it into something spectacular. There isn't a better breakfast spot in town. They blow certain Stephenville staples out of the park with their wonderful food. The manager is a hard working and kind woman always on thee move to ensure things are running smooth. We've had the same waitress multiple times, and her service truly is the only complaint we have about this place.... From not refilling drinks even once to just plain ignoring us as customers, it's just a tad disappointing. HOWEVER, the young man working with her, (Peter I think) is absolutely fantastic! Nice clean place. I have been there 4 or 5 times. Food was good but not a lot on the plate. Went in one morning for breakfast and got there at opening. Had to wait for them to heat grills and get stuff together. Had a good omelet but very little hash browns and not homemade biscuits. Not many places in Stephenville that do breakfast and with a little more on the plate this could be the best. read more
