Our kids playing down by the river for nearly 2 hours

Such a cute local spot with live music, a game room and right on the river. We were a large party with six adults and three kids. We sat outside and our kids loved being able to roam around without disrupting anyone. The service however, was incredibly slow and not great. It took forever between drink refills. Half of the adults probably would've ordered more alcohol, but it just took too long between drinks. We ordered jalapeño poppers as an appetizer and they came out still half frozen. Those that ordered the burger said they were decent, but the pizza and barbecue dishes were nothing special. Overall, definitely a great spot for ambience and families. Just set your expectations for service and food low .

Found this gem by accident while in town and love it. Set right on the river the outdoor views are amazing. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the game on a big screen and several TVs. Small but decent menu. Games and pool tables in the back for entertainment. Can't wait to come during warmer weather and enjoy the huge patio.

Atmosphere was great! Live music was fun and then being on the river was super great for the kids. Had the Mango Cart with tajin and sugar, highly recommend. Pizzas were thin crust and super good. All in all this was a great find for us on our trip, we will be back!!! You can tell the owners love this place and have a lot of history here.

Your basically paying for the scenery, the food here was embarrassingly mediocre. The potato salad tasted like store bought, the beans tasted like canned beans and the chicken looked dried and tasted like something made by hill country fare. It was extremely disappointing. Service could've been better. She was just doing her job, but if you're working with customers, greet them...say hi

Such a great find. Loved the outdoor seating, listening to music, having a drink and eating pizza. Everything was great and we'd definitely visit again.

The food was super quick and good. They don't skimp on the meats on the pizza or quesadillas. The brisket pizza isn't on the menu but just ask! Live music at 8pm, not overly loud, just right. Will be back!

Food is rather disappointing. Guess after a few drinks it's probably fine but not recommended for lunch or dinner.

I went on a Saturday around 4pm. They had ran out of everything except bbq sandwiches which were average.

Bloody's were very good. Not sure what was in the pitcher, but they were not made by pouring out of a bottle of Zing Zang. (which I do like btw) This is in a very rustic, hastily put together space, and now that the problem child is gone. it is time for some upgrades and a makeover - as John has suggested. You have your proof of concept, now just dress it up. A suggestion on the sound. It was pretty much inaudible upstairs. I could hear that ya'll were talking - just very hard to make out the words. Which was a shame because I really wish I could have made out the Q&A Session better. I saw speakers everywhere - they just were not sending words to me. Not sure if it was better downstairs.

Once I arrived I knew I was right by the amount of Harleys that were outside. Some Custom some Stock. Even the parking out front was reserved for Bikes. If you like riding to Strokers in Dallas you will love Roadhouse. If you are in North Texas and you head here you will not be disappointed. From what I understand the establishment is under New Ownership. Management, from my experience is killing it. The menu has a lot of options and literally everything wa appealing. I'm a Wing guy so that was a given. Big Wings cooked and seasoned perfectly served with what might be the best hand cut Onion Rings I had in a long time. If I remember there were like five flavors and I'm sure there was no bad choice on flavors. There is also a Steakhouse from what I'm told serves a very good Rib Eye. I should also mention the Burgers were said to be the best around. The Bartender Jennifer was very nice and made some tasty Cocktails. They also had a very good selection of Beers and some that seemed to be Texas favorites lol. I had a chance to talk to the Manager Reggie who was a nice guy. He said they have live Music some days. The place was.complete with a Stage and an area for Dancing. He said Ted Nugent was there recently. Definitely it my thing but to each his own. It's off the beaten path but as I said a great place to go to get away for a few Hours. Next time I'm in Fort Worth I'll probably go again. Especially if I find a business that Rents Bikes. Still thinking about those Wings. Lol. Yallhollatchaboy'.

The cocktails were spot on, and the steaks came out cooked perfectly. Most of the sides were great, though I'd probably skip the macaroni next time, it just lacked flavor. The complimentary bread with herbed olive oil was a perfect start to the meal. The pricing felt a bit high for what you get, but the ambiance more than makes up for it. Our server was super friendly and did an excellent job pacing the meal so everything flowed smoothly. The only hiccup was a water glass showing up with bright red lipstick on it, but it was taken care of immediately, no harm, no foul. Overall, this is a lovely spot for a fancy night out with good service. And don't forget to swing by the shop next door to pick up some top-notch olive oil.
