The best scones we have ever had! Wish I would've tasted it before we had drove out of town, I would've bought a few extra!

They serve Blue Bell ice cream, too. They have sugar-free options, too. Staff was warm and friendly. I ordered the Texas Sunset (Peach, Mango, and Red Raspberry) with snow cream: They accept card. Ample places to sit under a shaded umbrella. So, you can get it to and ealk around/sit and chill. Plenty of free parking around the venue. Plus, there's miniature golf. I'll have to come back. Enjoy!

And a variety of flavors, including sugar free options (made with Splenda). I got a sugar free pina colada, but there wasn't much flavor. That could be because the syrup is clear and she may not have realized there wasn't much on it?? Also, if you are from South Louisiana and are used to our snowballs - the "cream" option here is NOT what you are used to. Definitely NOT condensed milk. More like a barely sweet evaporated milk? Blah. My husband got it on his lemon-lime. The ice is real fine snow, which was excellent for our taste. There is a putt putt golf course attached and $5/person to play fee. The young girl that helped us was very nice and friendly, the older lady, not so much. Seems to stay pretty steady with business.

My uncle had the Rueben with chips, aunt had the club with chips and my mother had the BLT with chips. Everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. After we ate 3 of us ordered the peach cobbler with one scoop of vanilla ice cream and the other ordered the black berry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. The cobbler was fantastic. The service was good our waitress was very nice and even though they were busy our order came fairly quickly. The Cafe is an old mid to early 1900's repurposed gas station. Once you walk inside the cafe now has book shelves along the walls and register area. You are free to grab a book and read it while you are there. There is also a garden area outside you are free to sit at and eat/read. It being Texas and all you will probably avoid it in the hot months. We ended up here because most of the restaurants were closed. We were there on a Wednesday. I walled into one of the shops and asked were they recommend we grab lunch and was told the Storiebook would be a good choice. I would definitely recommend.

My personal favorite is the club sandwich. Cant leave out that have to top off every meal with cobbler and ice cream, I like the blackberry, wife likes the peach.
