What an incredible place !!!! Traveling to Hattiesburg MS and stopped in off To eat here. The Manager Brandon Cole was exceptional. The Restaurant was very clean and neat. I loved the Mom and Pop feel of the place. Brandon guided us thru the menu selection to help us make a great decision. The Pizza was very fresh and crust was amazing !!! I also had a Pizza Pocket and it was the perfect size !!! I would highly recommend Debs if you are in the Poplarville or Hattiesburg area well worth a small drive to check out !!! First of all, we would like to see you do well in Poplarville. The dough in the pizza we received tonight was not done (kind of like raw cookie dough). This is not the first time that this has happened, we have adjusted the way we order and ask that the bottom be browned more. This adjustment is not working, I'm not a chef but personally think that the dough is too thick or that the pizza needs to stay in the oven longer. Get up to register and it was 16.99 they charged me for the regular pizza and said that is the way they ring it up.. The food was not worth the money. The service was P** poor. The place always looks nasty. The restaurant was take over by new management awhile back. They do not care about cleanliness of food prep. Their have been numerous reports of dirty dishes being use to serve food on. There is NO one in charge except kids that have attitudes. Amazing we drive over a hour to eat here because the food and the staff are amazing. They have the best wings and their salad bar is so good and it has any and everything you could possibly want on it. The pizza is so good as well. The only negative thing I have to say is don't get the Philly cheese sandwich it was very dry and hardly anything on it. read more

Crust didn't seem baked all the way, even the cheese pizza was greasy and blah. $8 for cheesy fries..I think we got a small hand full, that only fed one..as an appetizer. Me and my friends came to eat here because it was one of the closest places. the service was very poor. we ordered our food before many people but they somehow got their food first. When I got my order (supposed to be 12 pc wings half buffalo half honey hot) they brought me two different flavors from what i ordered. after taking it back, the brought out a different dish and it was wrong as well. my friends ended up getting their meals and I still didn't get my food. also ordered a chicken parmesan to-go and it came out burnt and when trying to take it back and remove it from my ticket, it was more difficult then it needed to be. I just moved to Poplarville and wanted to try Deb's. We called and ordered a 4 and 4 for pickup. When I arrived it was just coming out of the oven. The service was great, the pizza was piping hot still when I got it home. It was delicious! Every slice was full of ingredients, I don't know what they put in the crust but it was divine, I just wish I had a little cup of garlic butter to dip it in. If you come to Poplarville during the day they have all you can eat buffet for lunch every day. You gotta eat here!! read more

Deb! We ordered two pizzas and 12 wings. Pizza had potential but they need to be in the oven longer. Service was lacking.... Lots of chatting and no asking if we needed a refill on water (not even once) or tea. Ambiance was decent. Place needs a deep clean... watched one server spill a drink and just not clean it... was still the same when we left. Still tipped 20% and leaving a two star rather than one because we aren't trying to ruin your reputation. Was hearing a lot of negativity lately regarding the new ownership. So we went out of our way to try Deb's out again. We got 2 pizzas & boneless wings via takeout, and the workers had NO idea what was going on. They gave us bone-in wings instead of boneless, & our 2 pizzas were missing several ingredients that they claimed they were out of. We also ended up getting charged twice for our order. The worst part is, the food actually DID taste great! Especially the wings! But it was a fight for us to receive our correct takeout order, so I doubt we'll be back anytime soon. read more

We went there with a group of eight tonight, two of which have a service dog with brightly colored vests that say "service dog" on them. Within minutes of us sitting down we were approached by a waitress and told that "pets aren't allowed here." We responded with the fact that they are service animals. After that a manager came and spoke to us and also told us that pets aren't allowed per the owner. We explained that they are service animals and that it is against federal law to deny someone service because of their service animal. After this we were told that we had to leave. read more

The pizza bar was out of chicken bacon ranch pizza and dessert pizza, we asked her and minutes later out it came. The ambiance was very nice and restaurant was very clean. Have been multiple times to Deb's Pizza. It's a family owned/run business. My wife and I have enjoyed each visit and the young ladies that serve do a very good job. It's not fancy, is actually a little less than sparkling clean, and doesn't try to be something that it's not. It's a small-town pizza restaurant. Their pizza and calzones are wonderful. They offer multiple sizes of pizza (eat in or take out) with a great variety of toppings. Their crust is well toasted and flavorful. The sauce is not simply out of a jar, but something they take pride in and works quite well to compliment their pizza's. At one visit we tried their pasta - the sauce was thin and not as good as homemade, nor as good as the Italian restaurants we've been too. But, this is meant to be a pizza restaurant and not a broad-menu Italian restaurant. My understanding, the last time we visited, was that they were in the process of changing their menus...... just don't change the pizza and calzones!!! The atmosphere is nothing special. As you sit in a booth or at a table you'll hear the drumming or moaning of the gas ovens. We didn't know what the background noise was until we asked. If anything it adds to the charm of eating at Deb's. Not too expensive. Quality, flavorful pizza. Overall clean and pleasant for a small-town local pizza restaurant. They have their regulars that keep coming back. I've been back a number of times and will continue going when I'm in the mood for pizza. read more

It's a pretty nice place, but something seemed off. I was not comfortable at all it seemed overpriced for what it was. I know an awesome small town place where the food is so fresh it seems they just made it from scratch, the cheese and the sauce and even the pepperoni are on point. I look for a place to eat that comes close and while I had Hope here it wasn't there yet. Salad with mozerella and pepperoni and poppy seed oh man. Let me know if you get different items. Definitely the best salad bar around at lunch or dinner. Fresh veggies and lots of variety, meticulously maintained by the kitchen staff. The lunch pizza buffet is worth the wait for a table. I still prefer to go in the evening and order a custom pizza, but that's because it feels less rushed, more relaxed. They now serve beer, which greatly enhances my opinion. Though the ownership has changed, the pizza (made from scratch using their own dough recipe) has remained consistently delicious. While they offer a BIG variety of pizzas, our favorite is the buffalo chicken pizza, with bleu cheese dressing dip. Local favorites include chicken-bacon-ranch, cheeseburger and of course, classic pepperoni. (Ask for HONEY! It's a great way to turn your crusts into a little desert. :) ) They've recently expanded to accommodate demand, so wait times have been cut back drastically.
