My husband drove up to the window and waited. Not long but he wasn't sure if there was a ringer or not. At any rate, he then knocked on the window. When she came to the window he proceeded to tell her he didn't know if she knew he was there and that was why he knocked. She rudely told him she was on the phone. Then took his card for payment, slammed the window shut and then opened the window again, handed him the pizza and bread twist then slammed the window shut . Not a thank you, have a nice day, not a smile, just rude. Im stating this because this has happened on more than 1 occasion. Maybe these employees are over worked, working short staffed or something! Anyway, we do have options when it comes to pizza. I do my best to be polite when dealing with public. It would be nice if this employee was made aware of her poor customer service. No one wants to deal with a rude employee that makes you feel that you have inconvenienced them. Not sure if i will return. I will think about this.

While the service was a little on the slower side, it was clear that the small but mighty staff was attentive and making their rounds to all the tables. Since then, we make it a point to stop at Pizza Inn if we pass one while traveling because she loves it so much! I have to say this is one of the better locations we've managed to discover. Upon entering, the woman at the counter greeted us with a friendly smile and said we could seat ourselves. Our waitress was nice and kept us refilled on drinks. She checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed but didn't hover or bother us at all. The buffet is self serve! The food itself wasn't bad either! They restocked the buffet very quickly throughout our visit. The price of the adult buffet was $13.99, which I felt was a little high, but not absolutely terrible for a buffet these days. They had a few different pizzas out that they restocked regularly, and I believe you could make requests for specific pizzas to be made-- we didn't try this but I don't think it costs extra. I really enjoyed the cheesy breadsticks and the pasta was good! I will however mention that everything was very salty, including the dessert pizzas. The entire restaurant was very clean! I was even impressed with the cleanliness of the restrooms. They also had an arcade in a small back room that was pretty fun! The machines are a bit old and warn and one of them ate an extra quarter but the whole family had a fun time playing old-school cabinets. Overall, a pretty good experience! My mom is already looking forward to coming back next year :)

Instead, I ended up with some frozen rubbery shrimp and semi burnt oysters. What a disappointment this was! The french fries were also overcooked and quite rubbery which didn't help this experience. This goes to show you that although Glyn's driving is a good place to go to for hamburgers, seafood definitely is NOT one of their specialties. I also think it's pretty overpriced for what I received considered this is southern Louisiana. I paid approximately $14.00 for 6 popcorn shrimp and 6 oysters with French fries which were all out of a freezer bag. What happened to Glynn's quality of seafood? This place used to be the talk of the town as a part of the place to eat for seafood and hamburgers. Now I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one complaining about the quality of food I received. Especially the seafood. I would only recommend going here for the shakes, as well as the different variety of hamburgers. But by all means a highly encourage you to stay away from their overly priced misrepresentation of Louisiana seafood.
