Jason took our drink orders. They offer gluten free dough which is not on the menu but if you have gluten issues you know to ask. . The pizza size is 12" about 6 large slices. You have so many options. You can change out different meats. I ordered the Greek sub the chicken for sausage with GF dough. Great taste! My husband ordered Trio Di Carne. He enjoyed it. Our friends ordered a Trio Di Carne with a salad. Salad looks great with fresh ingredients. I love the open brick fire oven. Everyone was so friendly. We will definitely be back when in the area. 4.75 stars. I initially went to the closed (old?) location. Oops. Found the right location and we sneaked in about 30 minutes before they closed for the night. We ordered our pizzas and were told 10-15 minutes. No problem. They gave us no hassle about being there so near to closing time. The order was slightly messed up. They forgot my balsamic drizzle that I paid for. But they came around to ask how everything was and I chose not to mention it. So minus a little bit for lack of attention to detail. But they presumably would have fixed the issue if I had brought it to their attention. The interior is fun. Full of video games. Eclectic bright interior with 80s vibes. And the pizza was delicious. The service was disappointing. I went with some friends and they forgot one of our pizzas, did not realize it was missing and did not explain why it took longer than the others. The chicken had a very weird taste. The manager said it was because it was marinated in pesto, but as someone who loves pesto, it tasted different. I paid extra for feta and they said they were out but did not offer a replacement or refund. I ordered the grinder salad and was surprised when no peppers, onions, olives, etc came in the salad. It was just cheese, tomato's, ham, and lettuce. It's my fault for not looking at the ingredients, but I've never ordered a grinder salad from any other place and had to pay extra for peppers and onions to be added. Awesome, fresh pizza! They make it fresh for every order in a brick oven, so it is a bit of a wait every time. I recommend ordering ahead of time over the phone! Probably the best pizza in Hattiesburg! It's located kind of in an inconvenient location, but it's worth the little drive. The manager (I'm assuming since he was dressed different than everyone else and yelling out orders) was also making the pizza and seemed to have everything in tiptop shape and order. He made sure to greet every customer and apologized for any inconveniences. He has tabs on every order and makes sure they're perfectly done and given to the right person. read more

I ordered a pepperoni and jalapeno pizza at lunch time. They brought it out with pepperoni only and I had to mention that I ordered with jalapeños. I guess two toppings is too many to remember. The bottom of the pizza was blackened which usually means that the pizza will be crispy. To my surprise it wasn't. One of the floppiest, greasiest pizzas I have ever had. It tastes decent which I why I am giving two stars. I think they need to clean their oven. The restaurant had just opened and there were crumbs on the tables which tells me they do not clean the restaurant after they close or before they open. In Hattiesburg on business and craved a pizza. A quick Yelp search turned up Mercury Pizza as a good pick and near by. Co-located at a corner convenience store and gas station, finding Mercury Pizza was pretty easy. A brick oven fast-casual option, Mercury had a good number of favorites and of course a build your own choice. Decided on a ham & collard greens small pizza as it was different. Also a house orange cannolli for desert. BYOB is cool here, so I went into the convenience store and grabbed one of their single beer bottles to drink. In less than 10 minutes the pizza was served. It was nice and hot with great carmelization. Smelled and tasted as good as it looked! A beer & great pizza, what else do you need? I didn't want to pig out, so I took two slices for leftovers. The cannoli was a great palate cleanser. The total for my order was $13, a good deal. Mercury also has a drive thru option. This business is under new ownership. It has no longer had consistent quality, service or menu items. It's crust is terrible, ingredients are not always fresh. Perfect size pizza and although they have a menu of pizzas, you can choose your own toppings. I've ordered onsite, delivery and drive through, all have been hot, fresh and delicious. Recently they catered a neighborhood Pizza Party with 7 different kinds of pizza and all were delivered on time and hot. They even have different sauces, ie garlic is my favorite. Why do all of the workers stare at you as you order? Almost like they are trying to deter you from ordering. Every time someone would call about delivery two guys would yell at the lady taking the order "UGH TELL THEM ITS AT LEAST 1.5hrs." Not welcoming at all. The last few times when we've ordered delivery (the only times), the pizzas have come very late, missing an ingredient or two, burnt and cold. This time ours came 45 minutes past the 45 minute delivery time frame, burnt underneath, cold and my margherita pizza had slivers of burnt basil on it. I mean, I could've made a better pizza myself and I am not a chef. The pizza was so thin and whoever "cut" it barely sliced it extremely unevenly. Mercury Pizza was a wonderful surprise. We used our GPS to get there and thought we were at the wrong place when we ended up in the parking for a gas station/ convenience store. However, Mercury Pizza was next door and shared the building and parking. The pizza was sublime. The crust is wood fired and was chewy and crispy. We ordered the Mercury Supreme and it was delicious. One of the ingredients was roasted mushrooms! It was awesome! I highly recommend the place. We will definitely return when we are in Hattiesburg. read more

I am staying at the local La Quinta inn for the night. I was attempting to order a pizza and was told that they do not deliver to motels or hotels due to security issues. The manager was very polite and professional when explaining to me the above statement. Although I am disappointed that we were unable to order a pizza from here the manager handled it very professional by taking the time to explain the reasoning behind it. Nicely done.
