Got food from Decibel while having some beers at Fretboard in the new Gatherall in Factory 52. It's the first food stall to open in the space and it was pretty good. The food arrived quickly, much faster than the 15-20 minute window of time on the digital ordering site. The egg rolls were probably my favorite or the 2 dishes. They came with a sweet soy sauce. The dill pickles were good, but I wish they were crispier. They were a bit underdone.

Cincinnati! Take full advantage of wing week before it ends tomorrow 8/28! These are pre-pandemic prices at $7 for 6 wings it's a steal. Our wing week escapade led us to Decibel and it did not disappoint. It is inside of Krogers On the Rhine Eatery with lots of other options as well. There's outdoor patio seating so sit outside and take in the city while you take these in. Now, let's get into to the food. This meal was outstanding. We started with the Korean Mozz Stick and WOW! The sauce was so interesting but so good, and it was fried to perfection. Then....these wings!!!! These wings were so insanely good. We got spicy sauce, and while the spice level was pretty low, the flavor was all there. The crisp to these was just crazy, no idea how they achieved that. But, there is one thing I do know, I will be back for both of these items!

Cincinnati Wing Week has not disappointed Decibel was one our first stops and let me tell you this 6 for $7 wing deal was too good to pass up. We got Spicy Wings and a Korean Fried Mozz Stick. The flavor of the Wings was on point with a little kick of heat (we got a side of a ranch, for all my ranch peeps). Not only was the flavor good, the level of CRISPY was perfect, which for me is half the battle of a good wing. This was my first time eating a korean fried Mozz stick and i will forever hold this as the standard, it had me rethinking my whole life.. the cheese pull on this thing was great and the sauces it was covered in!! Overall a good experience 5/5!!

Love, love, love! Their chicken drumsticks are amazing, like the stuff of legend. Perfectly crisp and crunchy on the outside, with great flavor, and then tender bites of chicken inside. Great combo. I've also tried their kimchee, which is delicious and a little different from others I've tried. Is it a tiny bit sweet? I think that's what sets it apart. I'm lucky I got to try them during an Elite event, so I was able to get to know the people behind this super creative new venue. But, I've also had their food delivered and I'm happy to say I've been satisfied with both experiences.

GochugangBBQ wings- amazing- heavy breading but sooooo good with great flavor. I ordered the sauce on and on the side and the side sauce wasn't included. Egg Rolls- mine were burnt so not the greatest. The inside filling/meat was very flavorful though so I definitely want to come back and give it another shot. Corn Dog Flight- Cheese: great flavor. Very cheesy (obviously) so dont order if you don't love cheese like me. Dog: great flavor. Tasty and juicy. Hot Cheetos: dont love hot cheetos so i didnt love it but if you do you will love it!

Decibel is in one of those new food markets where you pick the spot you want to eat and go to a communal table, it isn't a traditional spot that has dedicated servers or tables. The ordering system was very confusing and I asked for the food to be delivered to the bar downstairs, it was not. Instead I got a text, I did t mind picking up the food but then why was it an option to be delivered? The overall atmosphere of the market is cool but nothing special feels like the four others I have been to. Now for the food, I started with the Kimchi and that had good flavor and was a good way to prep my pallet for the wings. The wings look massive but don't be fooled it's mostly breading. They have good flavor, I got the gochujang BBQ wings, but the meat was not great. There just wasn't a lot of meat on the wings. And the meat that was there was a little rubbery so it was overcooked. Overall I might be willing to try these again but with a delicious looking barbecue place literally right next door I would be more willing to try something new than go back.

This is a great example of trendy done well. Trendy can be an insult and the good news for Decibel is even if trendy goes... they still make delicious food, the chicken was perfectly coated and the sauce is bomb. The mozzarella stick was very good and fries are often fries but the spice mix really elevated these ones! *Chef'sKiss*

Chicken Sammie with all the fixings! Awesome!

I had a craving for fried chicken and decided to give Decibel Korean Friend Chicken a try. I traveled to the 2nd floor of the Court Street Kroger, and looked over their menu. A majority of their menu involves chicken, (of course). However, they do have Kimchi and other sides, including Seaweed Salad. I ordered the Chicken Sammie combo, which have bbq tenders topped with slaw, pickles and fly sauce. There was a bit of a wait because they were busy, but the food made up for it. My chicken sandwich was crunchy, flavorful and each ingredient added a special zing to it. The pickles were sliced thin, with pickled cabbage and sesame seeds on top. The bread became saturated with bbq sauce and soon fell to pieces, but it was still delicious. The Waffle Fries were just as good with light seasoning sprinkle throughout. The dipping sauces made it that more enjoyable with a smooth, tangy note. I encourage you to give them a try. Just one word of caution: Allow yourself enough time if you go there for lunch. They can take a while when preparing the food. Even so, give this place a try.

This place is fantastic! I will definitely be returning! Amazing flavors!! The beef corn dog with the gojujang bbq sauce and green onions is so good! The motzarella stick with the gojujang bbq sauce was amazing! And those dumplings were out of this world good!

Korean Corn dog and Mozz Stick

After creeping on Instagram for the past week, finally made my way down to try the Korean Corn Dogs ! Service was quick, but we did come at a time where it wasn't too busy. I really enjoyed the flavors-they had a little kick to them but not too spicy. I was pleasantly surprised with the corn dog. It was a beefy dog. The breading to filling ratio on both the corn dog and the mozz stick were balanced and it wasn't dry at all. My friend ordered the wings and said they were really good. At first she thought they seemed a little pricy, but when they came out they were HUGE. You definitely get your money's worth. Will definitely come back to try some of the other sides and tenders on the menu.

This place is in the back of the second floor of Kroger. It is decently new, since there used to be another place there prior to this. I opted to give it a shot because there aren't many Korean fried chicken places nearby so why not give it a shot? As most things in the Kroger, I think they are like a dollar or two overpriced. They do have variety in types of chicken, like wings, tenders, or drumsticks, but only four types of sauces. I got the wings I'm BBQ and while they certainly have that crunchiness that is beloved of Korean Fried chicken, the chicken itself leaves a lot to be desired. Not sure if I'll try it out again, maybe just to get another sauce, but doubt it. The staff tho, super nice and friendly!

I finally got to try Decibel Korean Fried chicken the other night and I'm so happy! The food was great, the chicken was super crispy and had a great batter on it. I got the spicy dry rub on my tenders and my mom got two different sauces on hers. All of the sauces were great and I loved mixing and trying them all. The waffle fries were also great and they had a nice seasoning on them. The only thing I would say is that I wish they would give more sauce with the tenders because it is such a big portion. Other than that this is located in the Kroger downtown along with some other great restaurants!

If you want a great place to get some quick Korean fried chicken then Decibel does it well!! With a variety of sauce option for your fried chicken you can't go wrong. Don't miss out on the sides as well. The cucumber salad was a great refreshing pairing to the heavier chicken.

I went for lunch and they weren't very busy, the server checked on me multiple times and made sure to ask regularly if I needed anything else including more Hot Pot items or drinks. She also promptly cleared any empty dishes which kept the table tidy. Since I chose the Hot Pot only option this time, they placed a grill cover over the grill to add extra table space which is a nice option to add extra space, especially if there's a big group and getting a lot of food plates. The dining room is always super clean and warm. The music can be a bit loud at times, but not too bad and it adds a little privacy to your table and group. For the food, I can say I always enjoy eating here and I love the Matcha Milk Tea with Tapioca Bobas. I usually go for the K Town Special Broth and fix it up with chili oil, a couple sauces, peppers, onions, and spices. The versatility of everyone being able to create what they like makes this place great for large groups.

What we ate: Rabokki: Basically ramen + dubbokki (spicy rice cakes). Large portion, spiced just right, and everything was cooked to just the right texture. Samgyupsal: Seasoned sliced pork belly. Perfectly crispy, seasoned well, served with ssamjang and lettuce to make the perfect bite. Seafood pancake: This was a LARGE portion!! Nice amount of crispness, could have used a little more seafood, but otherwise tasty. And the was plenty of banchan, which they refilled for us. Additionally, we heard the server helping out another table with what to order. So super beginner friendly if you don't know a lot about Korean food! The only disappointment is that they no longer serve galbi, which I was craving!
