Wow. This experience was AWESOME! My siblings and I came for dinner on a Saturday night - we had never been to anything like this before. Our server was so helpful and did an amazing job at explaining everything and answering our questions. I definitely recommend doing both the Hot Pot & BBQ! They have so so so many different meats, sides, vegetarian options, and the sauce and cold bar are so awesome too. We had so much fun and the food was so great! This is a great experience with a big group- I am looking forward to coming back now that I know the gist of how it works!

Hands down one of our favorite date night spots! We had never had Korean BBQ and they were so nice to help us out along with keeping everything moving. The food was so delicious and making it was fun! They have a big selection so there is something for everyone! We can't wait to bring more of our friends here!! Stop in and check it out!

I'll be honest, I had no idea Cincinnati even had a Korean barbecue joint. I moved to this neighborhood about 8 months ago but since it is tucked behind most other businesses, it's not easy to see from the parking lot. It wasn't until I read the sign that I realized there was a legit Korean barbecue place here at Hyde Park plaza! I had a friend in town who I have enjoyed Korean BBQ with before elsewhere so I suggested to him that we give it a try. Walking in you could tell the place was pretty clean and very modern! We were seated at a table by friendly staff and immediately the grill was going and they took our order. We had many different types of meats and vegetables with different seasonings. So many different kinds of vegetables as well as good appetizers. It's all you can eat! Overall everything tasted fresh and delicious! The staff was very attentive and overall I felt like we really got our money's worth. Dinner is all day on weekends but if you're around on a weekday for lunch, you can save some money. It's not cheap but it's not expensive either. You're definitely getting your money's worth! Looking forward to trying this place again someday soon.

Food was pretty good. Not the greatest meat selection at a Korean bbq place, but still very decent. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly, and I liked that there was a dessert bar with some good options to round things up.

Love me some Korean BBQ - We came here to celebrate my birthday because I wanted something casual, kid friendly, and delicious! I am from SoCal and Korean BBQ is pretty much all over the place, so going to KBBQ here is kind of a little bit of a taste of "home" lol.. Anyway!... The staff here was super friendly AND very kid friendly - I love me some staff who enjoys interacting with my little one! KBBQ - Everything was VERY good - the meat selection had a nice variety and my husband and I really enjoyed our night. My favorites were the spicy beef bulgogi and spicy pork belly. They also had a nice sauce selection and sides bar selection.. even though I did not partake to any of those and just ate a bunch of meat haha.. Service - The service was great! Our server was attention and incredibly timely. She also interacted with our daughter - which was super cute! I'm only knocking one star off only because I wish they had more Korean type of appetizers and sides and Gyeranjjim (steamed egg) or like Japchae, etc. Overall - We'll be coming back! :)

K Town BBQ & Hotpot was the place that I celebrated my birthday while in Cincinnati. Not knowing the city, restaurants, or what was close to my hotel, Yelp showed me that K Town was the place that I should visit. It worried me a little when I made reservations on the Chinese owned Chowbus website. But, once I arrived, I knew I was in a good place as they seated me immediately. Our server, a young college student, greeted us. She gave us instructions, as if they were needed. They are a little different from the places in California as they are both Korean BBQ and Chinese hotpot. It was a little different that vegetables had to be ordered from the server. Our server was great! The food was good for Cincinnati. I was impressed that they served marinated short rib (KTown Short Ribs). The meats were good. Most of the meats and seafood could be used interchangeably between Korean BBQ and hotpot. On the way out, the managers greeted us and thanked us for coming in. They don't get very many Chinglish speaking people from the Los Angeles area. They appreciated hearing whatever Mandarin I knew. I enjoyed my meal 2 birthday meals, both BBQ and hotpot at KTown. It's a great place!

Awesome vibes. Awesome service. Awesome food. Isn't overpriced for what you get. Would recommend 100% for any type of date or hangout dinner

Food was ok. Choices were limited as compared to other similar places in Cincy and out of state. Dissatisfied that only lamb, salmon and others had to be spicey. Only had 1 steak option and it was a giant steak. They give you scissors to cut. What about knives! Service started off good but became horrible. We had to wait a long time for items and had an empty table. Server didn't tell us what he delivered. Concept is great. Liked how he changed cooking surface. Need to off more of soup options for bbq especially seafood option. Also need more of the veggies offered for bbq. I took pineapple from the cold bar. Stupid that you can only put sauce in giant bowl when I want a sauce for each type of meat. Ice cream cups for dessert were a joke (brand, size and flavors). Pathetic to put a sign up $1 for cup to go. Appertizers were good but should be on bar like other places. Not sure why seaweed, noodles, and crappy desserts were on bar. Yum yum sauce was put here but belonged with sauces.

Your typical all you can eat hot pot and/or kbbq. I opted for only kbbq. They're doing a free soda with purchase, but I opted for a water. Service was good. Portions are small. But I dined alone so I was able to try 8 different meats before I called it quits. Sauce bar was very similar to other ayce hotpot/kbbq. Love that they had pickled white radish. Left happy and full.

I was super excited to try this place since I think it's the only Korean BBQ place in town and it's definitely the only combo Korean BBQ and Hot Pot Place! The vibe on the inside is clean and hip. Fun upbeat music is playing and they seat you at large tables with both the K-BBQ burner in the middle and 4 individual burners for hot pot. The menu has everything you could want or expect for K-BBQ and hot pot. All the meats, veggies, tofus, fish balls, etc. I was pleased with the quality of all of it! They have a nice selection of soup bases for the hot pot as well, which is awesome. They also have a sauce bar and a cold bar where you can go get any of their large selection of sauces and lots of different cold dishes like kimchi, seaweed salad, etc. Service was prompt and they were very friendly. Pricing was in line with what I would expect for AYCE. You pay 5 extra dollars if you do both the K-BBQ and the hot pot, which I personally think is well worth it. Highly recommend checking this place out, I know I'll be back!

This place just opened up so we figured we'd give it a shot. Im travelling from Toronto where we have lots of kbbq and hotpot options and this looked to be one of the only spots that have it in this area. I was underwhelmed with the lunch bbq options. We opted for the hotpot and bbq which was only $5 more. The spicy bulgogi chicken and spicy bulgogi beef could've been better, i liked the plain marinated meats dipped in yuzu (from the sauce station) better. The meat quality is also very weak compared to other places ive been. For hotpot, there was a good variety of options though again the meat couldve been better quality. Its similar to meat you can get from T&T or another asian grocery store. I was happy with the sauce station, there were a lot of options. The service was really nice though, and very patient with explaining the menu and coming back to check in on us, as well as changing the grill when needed. The restaurant inside looks very hip and there are booths for all the seating areas. If i came to cincinatti again I would visit again for the experience, though Im hoping they up their quality more!

We planned to order off of their lunch menu, and split a bowl of noodles for her birthday. Chinese tradition is to eat noodles on birthdays, so we asked the server what she recommended. She told us they actually offer complimentary birthday noodles! We were so surprised; we'd never heard of anywhere doing that before. We ordered the Twice-Cooked Pork Lunch, Fish with Chili Bean Sauce Lunch, and the Birthday Noodles. With lunch, we were allowed to select an egg roll, egg drop soup, or hot and sour soup. We both opted for the hot and sour soup. Even without the complimentary noodles, this meal was incredibly well-priced at $10.99 per lunch special. High quality dishes with plenty of meat and fresh vegetables. The noodles were simple but larger than expected, well-cooked, and delicious. My mom raved about this place. She hasn't had quality Chinese food at that price in a long time, and is telling all of our family members that we should go back when they're in town. It wasn't very busy, but we hope it was just the weather. Hopefully lots of people are supporting them! We can't wait to go back.

The sleek, modern décor makes it feel both stylish and inviting. Since it's still new, it was quite busy with plenty of people eager to check it out. We expected a wait, and sure enough, there was one. The only downside is that the front area isn't designed for waiting -- there's just a small bench and not much space to stand without being in the way. The staff, however, were attentive and worked quickly to seat everyone. We were initially told the wait would be 45 minutes and were about to leave, but as we turned to go, they let us know it had dropped to 20-30 minutes, so we decided to stay. Right before being seated, we learned that everyone at the table needs to choose either the Kpot or BBQ option. We weren't familiar with how it worked, so we went with BBQ. Once seated, it felt a bit overwhelming at first -- the booths are very large! I'm on the shorter side, so I found it a little difficult to get comfortable since I had to lean forward quite a bit to reach the table. The food itself was okay -- tasty to me but not outstanding -- I think I just got impatient with the grilling. The prices were on the higher side. Still, the overall experience was exciting and fun. It's definitely a great place to go with a group if you're looking for something lively and different.

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot offers an "all-you-can-eat" dining experience in which customers cook their own food at the table. Nicely remolded property which permitted a few parent with screaming children to cause us regret at selecting a lunch. Kpot has the potential of being a nice date night location - depends on screaming children who are in attendance. Travel tip, there is another Asian buffet on Kingsridge Drive. We like the newness of the property, the menu, the service, the food, and the overall experience. Kpot seems to be doing a thriving business, and this is a small chain.
