The owners (a married couple) are the servers, and they are the best. They know what they are serving and how to serve it. My son had the Dolsot before, and it was ok. The server stirred it so the rice doesn't get too crispy. It tastes much better. The restaurant looks better inside than it does from the outside. My family loved it. We will definitely come again.

The food here is always amazing. On a normal night you may run into a wait around the usual dinner times but it's the best place to eat when it's cold outside. It will warm you right up and hit the spot for that comfort food you've been craving. Our kids love the kids menu with a mini rice bowl and my husband and I love their Korean options. Service could be a bit better but the food is so good it's honestly excusable. Love this place!

The place was clean and modern. Service was quick. The food was good! I got the Mackeral and it was seasoned well and was great with the the sides and rice. My daughter's chicken bowl came with scrambled eggs on top which was really good.

This is a cute little spot. Service was on the slower end, and the food was alright. I would give them another chance though.

Hands-down, the best Korean food I've had in the greater Cincinnati area! The ambience was warm and cozy, and I did not feel. I had to yell over a crowd to speak to our friends at the table. The owner of this restaurant is extremely customer, focused and visited with all the guests. This was my first time here, but we will definitely be back! For our friends who invited us there tonight, this was their third time. We went with them because of their high recommendation. Excellent!!

Overall, this place has some great tasting Korean food. The prices were a little on the higher side than what I'm used to but not unreasonable. I especially liked the Gimbab. I felt the Dhukbokgi had more fish cakes in it than rice cakes. The Kimchi Pajun and Bibimbab was good. The owner and staff were nice and attentive. This would definitely be a place to go locally if I want some Korean food.

Chef Sung Jung Oh has exemplary culinary skills. I first tasted his authentic Korean food, at his downtown Cincinnati establishment, "Sungs Korean Bistro". Walking into Chef Sung Jung Oh's bistro transported you to Korea with its beautiful architectural design (Note: the Chef actually designed and built out the entire restaurant himself!) and the savory smells of dolsot bibimbap wafting through the air. The presentation of the venue, and especially, the food, would garner five stars in any city. Traveling back through Cincinnati to find that "Sungs" was closed was a sad day. One of my destination restaurants had gone away. Upon finding "Dolsot Bistro" and realizing that this was Chef Sung reborn in a new location, I immediately created a VIP contact in my phone. This long winded review can be distilled to one important fact, Chef Sung Jung Oh is an unbelievably talented chef and you should create a VIP contact in your phone as well.

Does this place serve Korean Snowflake Shaved Ice? I was looking for Korean Snowflake Shaved Ice in the Cincinnati area. And an article sounds like it served here. I couldn't tell for sure as the link to the menu is down though.

We do serve but it’s under dessert section. It’s our chef Sung J. Oh creation. It’s not same like shop that serve only these dishes as full menu in Korea. Hope this help.

Asiana is a small, family-owned restaurant that's been in the area for a while and I can't believe I've never had it up until a few years ago. What we ate: Rabokki: Basically ramen + dubbokki (spicy rice cakes). Large portion, spiced just right, and everything was cooked to just the right texture. Samgyupsal: Seasoned sliced pork belly. Perfectly crispy, seasoned well, served with ssamjang and lettuce to make the perfect bite. Seafood pancake: This was a LARGE portion!! Nice amount of crispness, could have used a little more seafood, but otherwise tasty. And the was plenty of banchan, which they refilled for us. Additionally, we heard the server helping out another table with what to order. So super beginner friendly if you don't know a lot about Korean food! The only disappointment is that they no longer serve galbi, which I was craving!

The server was lovely, but didn't really explain much. For instance, how much meat was in a serving, the fact that there is an entire counter full of sauces, and recommendations on how much food to order per person. So we over-ordered and there was food waste, which I hate. But holy cow, you can order up to 5 meats, all the vegetables, and any or all of the appetizers for only $22 for lunch. VERY reasonable!! The gyoza and seafood pancake were great. All of the meat was seasoned well with the beef bulgogi being our favorite. The variety of sauces was over-the-top.
