Back here again, came back this weekend as I've been following them in social media and I spy crayfish! As a big seafood lover I have to come and get my hands on some! We tried their new bubble tea and I honestly like it more than their old bubble tea. If you're big on tea and would like one that has a nice tea fragrant, yet doesn't taste diluted or taste like flavored milk. You should totally try their new bubble tea brand (Hitea). The spice level was 1-10, so I went with a 3. It is QUITE spicy even at 3 and I'm no stranger to spice. Personally, that one isn't for me, but my sister ordered the K-Town special broth which was very good and my husband ordered the miso one which was also tasty! I'd go with one of those next time I go. The beef brisket is a go-to for bbq. They have a ton of sauces so you can mix up whatever you'd like! We also like to get zucchini and onion to grill as well. Found this place on yelp, and after thanksgiving on Saturday, decided to try it. Wow, the place is pretty big inside. No need for reservation, we just walked in and got a booth. Ordered bbq plus hotpot. The price difference with only bbq is only 2 dollar per person. It turned out we made the right decision. Each of us have our own hotpot, while we share the big bbq station. We have 4 people, so we can have food instantly, no need to wait for the grill. It's wonderful! We had few rounds of steak plus their spicy salmon, really delicious. I really like the designs on their walls and the led lighting. Our server was amazing. She took the time to explain how it worked and very attentive. She was so patient and friendly. For lunch it's $19.99 and dinner was 32.99. For the lunch hot pot and Korean bbq was $24.99. It's an all you can eat for up to 2 hours for either hot pot or Korean bbq. I love how they offer bubble tea and the ruby bubble milk tea was amazing. There is a note that a 20% surcharge would be applied if you waste food, which is understandable. However, we cleaned our plates! Everything was delicious. You'll notice on the Korean bbq menu, certain items are limited to dinner only. If you go in for lunch, you can still order the dinner items but you will need to pay the difference. Needless to say, everything was spectacular. We were able to pick from an extensive menu for our meals and every ounce of it was delicious and fresh. All meat and veggies were high quality. Our favorites were the beef belly and pork belly. I've been twice, both times have been exactly what I'd expect. We did both the got out and Korean bbq. Try not to order too much stuff, you will get charged for too much waste. The hot pot remember to lower the temp, don't be afraid to turn off the heat to not over be cook anything. You can add sauces from the bar in the front to your hot pot or the bbq. When cooking on the bbq you may have to ask for butter to cook with. You can also use the sauces and garlic on the bbq, or use it on the side to dip. Other than that, enjoy! read more

My new favorite hot pot! I've been going to Mala Hotpot for years but they've drastically reduced their hours. I was craving hotpot on a Friday afternoon when they're closed and was looking for a new place to try. Since I planned to go to Jungle Jim's after lunch, this place popped up as a nearby recommendation. I got there at about 1:10 on Friday afternoon. I did wait a little bit at the front. I don't think the lady saw me there initially but she put me at a booth. The server was there super quickly after I sat and I was able to place my full order. Spicy Szechuan Medium, Bubble Tea (love they had fruit / non-milk options), Fatty Beef, Broccoli, Bok Choy, Rice Cakes, Fried Tofu. It's all you can eat and they initially give you a small portion of each (except randomly I got a bigger bowl / more generous serving of bok choy). I'm fine with a smaller serving to start since I know my eyes are bigger than my stomach. I loved the sauce options and they had sauces that aren't typical at other places - a hot pot bbq, spicy sauce, gochujang, etc. Super in love with their sauce bar and I made two sauces that were great (one was sesame based sweeter and the other was a spicy soy). My food and pot came out super fast. Well before I got my bubble tea which was fine since my server had already given me a water as well. I loved the broth. Would have actually liked a few more chilies so next time I'll get the spiciest level of it. The server was a younger brown haired lady and great about checking in. She offered me more food and brought out the next serving of broccoli I requested super quickly as well. I think overall my bill was $29? $20 for the hot pot, $8 for the tea + bubbles. Overall I was super happy about it. My son cannot have wheat, gluten or dairy and I did see that they mark items that are wheat free. I may try to dig more into that the next time I visit because I'd love to be able to bring my son and it can be hard to find Asian restaurants that can accommodate.
