Rich is local so I figured he'd have a good understanding of the waterproofing problems people experience with their decks and balconies in this area. He was very personable, and gave us a very reasonable price. Rich had Enrique work on the balcony, and he was meticulous, worked very hard every day, and would work late if he had to. Honest, on time and with good communication. That's how I would describe my interaction with this company. They've been in business for about 20 years in the south bay. The owner, Rich, answers the phone personally and showed up at my door the same day I called to give me a free quote. I told him I had a leak in my deck roof. He came and looked at it. He could've just told me to fix it and spend $5000 but he did a simple test and determined that I did not need the repair. Most people would've just pushed for the expensive repair job. I would not have known the difference and I can appreciate it when someone is professional and honest. It's no surprise to me that they get all these 5 star ratings. Rich who is the owner returns his phone calls and definitely know what he's doing. We own a building in Hermosa Beach that's been in my family for over 40 years. The roof is a deck and until we found Rich it leaked. After all these years it is finally dry. My deck needed repairing because it was leaking and was a potential safety hazzard. The owner, Rich, was great. I got 3 quotes and theirs was a bit more expensive than the others but it was for a better product with better warranty and they were awesome with scheduling. He was easy to communicate with and his employee who did the work was respectful, hard working and reliable with showing up and completing work in a timely fashion. It took a little longer than expected due to unforseen issues, but even though we found more rotting wood I was not charged more than original quote. Deck looks great and I am very happy with the outcome. Sometimes in life it's worth it to invest a little more for things. Very happy with my new deck! read more
