Stumbled upon this little Italian gem and absolutely loved it. The authentic atmosphere was what first drew us in, and the food completely lived up to it. You could tell right away this was more of a local favorite than a touristy spot, which we really appreciated. They service was so attentive and appreciative of the customer experience My husband ordered the chicken piccata and said it was amazing. My son had the chicken Parmesan, and the portions were huge. I ordered a linguini pasta dish that was also delicious. We finished with cheesecake for dessert, and it was incredible. One of the things we loved most was the family-owned feel and seeing so many locals and Italian families dining there -- always a good sign that the food is authentic and well-loved. We ate here today for lunch. The food is decent. The servers are nice, the atmosphere is quaint and the space is very intimate. I loved the fried zucchini sticks because they were so lightly battered and delicious. The crab dip was delicious too but the fried bread chips were a bit hard yet okay. The white chocolate bread pudding was warm and delicious. My husband and son had the chicken parm and said it was average, nothing to write home about. My husband ordered the clams casino and they were very tiny. The mozzarella and carrozza was okay. The salad was small but fresh. My husband and I have been going to this restaurant when the present owners were waiters here when it was DelGaudio. Great food always. A/O the beginning of 2026 food flavor , quality slacked off tremendously to the point as the next to last visit in this spring my husband and I became sick ( diarrhea and pain ) after eating there. We decided to give a last chance and returned ,we spoke to Pedro (owner) and told him and he was indifferent to say the least. Up until then we have been eating there once a week , sometimes more and we would take meals home too. We" were not looking for something " free " but a genuine concern would have been nice. Too expensive nowadays for mediocre dishes. PS Update menu as well , same items for over twenty years. Sauces are now thrown on pastas with no taste, and greasy chicken entrees such as franchaise and marsala. Shame as this place very close to our home . Now we travel to North White Plains for dynamite offerings , ALL dishes are great and CHEAPER! read more

So we baptize my granddaughter today and we had an intimate gathering of 30 at this wonderful establishment, the staff could not have been more commentating plenty of parking. The food was delicious. We went to DeCosta's for a repass. This is my second time there for a repass, ten years apart. I immediately recognized the restaurant before we pulled up to the entrance. I remembered the inviting facade. The food was exactly as I remember...delicious! The service was attentive and kind. Ordered take out on a busy Friday night. The order was ready upon arrival. I managed to score parking in the lot near the carry out area. Just ordered the rigatoni with sauce. Excellent food and service! I had not tried DeCosta's previously, but needed an Easter Sunday take away at the last minute. Many other restaurants were closed and I remembered DeCosta's being somewhat close to Bronxville so I thought I would give it a try. Needless to say my walk in order was prepared quickly and efficiently. It was still piping hot when I returned to the house with the order in my insulated bag, something not always the case from other restaurants and take away orders. I would definitely recommend DeCosta's for those in the Bronxville-Yonkers-Riverdale areas for take away orders and dining in from anywhere. I'm a little biased because I don't like reheated freshly prepared Italian dishes but others in my family do, and loved the leftovers they had from their entrées. De Costa's Fine Italian Dining 5/21/2024 Celebrating our 36th Wedding Anniversary we ordered a favorite Fried Calamari as an app. The size of the Squid was cut into nice size pieces and coated very well. The mouth feel was very tender and soft. I ordered the Seafood Pescatore that consisted of Shrimp, Clams, Mussels, and Calamari, in a Tomato Sauce, served on a bed of Fettuccine. The dish was very well made with a Devine taste. My husband ordered a daily Special of Stripped Bass topped with Shrimp, a side of Potato Croquettes and Broccoli Rabe. My husband said he thoroughly enjoyed his food and again it was very well prepared. The wait staff was very professional and attentive. Although this place is a bit pricey, it is more than well worth the price! So this was our first visit to DeCosta's. It reminded of an old Italian restaurant for the 70's. Very quaint! We went for lunch so there was only another small family there. The service was great and the food was delicious and freshly made. I throughly enjoyed my chicken franchise. My husband had rigatoni bolognese and he just said it was just ok. First of all, it was not only Easter Sunday but my birthday. I didn't want to go to Manhattan; I wanted a good Italian restaurant close by and this was by far the best pick that I could make. We started with Clams Casino and Clams Oreganato. They both were absolutely, fresh, tasty and we loved them both. I had the capellini with crabmeat and shrimp and I was so pleased with the taste of the creamy tomatoe sauce and the sweetness of the crab meat and delicate flavor of the shrimp. This pasta dish was superb. My husband ordered the Seafood Pescatore with linguine. He was enjoying the dish and all the seafood ; mussels, clams, calamari and shrimp were all tender, fresh and delicious. We ordered the creme brulee with blackberries and dragonfruit. What a wonderful burst of texture, creaminess and crunch of glazed sugar browned to perfection. We have found our Italian Cucina that will be our "go to" in Yonkers. This is our local Italian restaurant and we've had great dining in & dining out experiences. The food is excellent, prepared fresh and the specials menu changes on a daily basis. My kids love the calamari here & ask for it on a weekly basis, we love the buffalo mozzarella when they offer it on specials. This past weekend, I bought my middle-school-aged grandson a fishing rod for well over $200.00 and spent another $100.00 on lures, etc. In an unforeseen turn of events, a mere minute after I paid for my grandson's rod before my grandchild even left the store, the top of his rod got entangled in the door mechanism and snapped off! First visit : Restaurant clean and well organized. Staff friendly and accommodating, especially our server Nick. Wife and I shared an appetizer of fried calamari, cooked to perfection and delicious! I ordered one of their signature dishes, Shrimp Alla Nonna with the thin sliced fried potato chips.....absolutely fantastic, very tasty! My wife had the shrimp with crab meat in a creamy tomato sauce, another delicious meal cooked to perfection. Don't forget to try the Bread Pudding with White Chocolate/Caramel Sauce...yum! I had dinner at DeCosta's tonight and it was great from beginning to end. The service was prompt and polite. We had our water replenished often. The ambiance was causal and chill. There is parking on the premises, which is a plus. We ordered the stuffed rigatoni, filet of sole, the Fresca salad, kids spaghetti, and penne pasta. All the dishes with packed with flavor and we enjoyed every bite. The fish tasted really fresh too. We also had the lobster crab dip and boy was it yummy; strongly recommended. We visited for the first time on a Saturday at lunchtime. What shocked me honestly that a lunch menu doesn't exist!?! The entrees are dinner time prices $27-30/entree and $10/side dishes...my family is always excited to try new places so we ordered 3 appetizers. Fried calamari, cold antipasto, clams casino. Calamari fresh, tasty. Cold salad, not very exciting, clams not too bad. Now onto entrees. Chicken Marsala awful, flavorless lacked a personality. Penne a la vodka, average, veal Al La Nonna was flavorful (but $30?!) meatballs too dry and very compressed, marinara decent ($10/3meatballs) side of bolognese was included with meal was the only the only thing my husband enjoyed. Friendly staff, clean environment. However shame on them for opening at lunch and being greedy with the prices. We won't return anytime soon. read more
