This place is one of those neighborhood - if you know, you know - place. Authentic, ole Italian, delicious food! From soup and salads, breads, chicken parm, ole school pasta dishes, fish and of course dessert! Apple Brown Betty was to die for If you have the opportunity and are in the area - definitely stop by DeCosta's

So we baptize my granddaughter today and we had an intimate gathering of 30 at this wonderful establishment, the staff could not have been more commentating plenty of parking. The food was delicious. Anything we tried there was superb. I wanna come back and have dinner. I truly enjoyed my experience and how kind the staff was. Thank you so much.

The restaurant is located in the corner of highways so it could be challenging to get around and find it. The ambiance was ok. It's not the most established restaurant I have been to. The foods are good and for the dining Area this humble I would expect a little less expensive. But at least all the foods are good and authentic

I hope the owners of Decosta's read this review, because I'd like to apologize to them. I moved to Yonkers 7 years ago, passed this restaurant hundreds of times because I live a 1/4 mile away from this outstanding place. My wife and I went there this past Saturday. Can not stop thinking about how wonderful our experience was. Service, Dinner, dessert was a 10+ They will be seeing us a lot more. Wow !!! what an outstanding place to eat. Ada & Sal

De Costa's Fine Italian Dining 5/21/2024 Celebrating our 36th Wedding Anniversary we ordered a favorite Fried Calamari as an app. The size of the Squid was cut into nice size pieces and coated very well. The mouth feel was very tender and soft. I ordered the Seafood Pescatore that consisted of Shrimp, Clams, Mussels, and Calamari, in a Tomato Sauce, served on a bed of Fettuccine. The dish was very well made with a Devine taste. My husband ordered a daily Special of Stripped Bass topped with Shrimp, a side of Potato Croquettes and Broccoli Rabe. My husband said he thoroughly enjoyed his food and again it was very well prepared. The wait staff was very professional and attentive. Although this place is a bit pricey, it is more than well worth the price! I would tell anyone to come and give this place a try as you feel welcome and the food is excellent, you won't regret it.

Only the finest restaurants truly know how to make Old Fashions and no one else makes a better one than the Sea Fire Grill. I love fried, crisp calamari and theirs was particularly good. My friend had colossal shrimp and loved it. I sampled one, and I concur with him. We each had the lobster bisque soup which was superb. The best I have ever had. I had the New York Sirloin which was mouthwatering It was so good that after each bite, I just sat back in my chair and savored it as I slowly chewed. For sides, I had the fingerling potatoes and shared the broccoli rabe. My friend had the roasted Mediterranean branzino, that he went crazy over. We topped everything off with a delicious chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream. The does not even scratch the surface of what dining is like here. It is the ambiance, the beautiful, relaxing view of the Hudson River and the New York and New Jersey shorelines. It is the knowledge each worker has about the food and drinks served. Inside, the restaurant's decor...well, you will not find it better anywhere else. I cannot wait to return in the fall when the setting sun turns the Hudson orange. Excellent restaurant and staff.

I had the surf and turf styled platter which was loaded with 3 different seafoods and a nice cut of steak. my leftovers was still tender after reheating. My SO had the branzino and I'm just going to assume his food was excellent because by time I got back from the restroom the entire fish was devoured! smh it was Fathers Day so I let it slide... lol The drinks were standard, I believe we only did one round since we wanted to check out the rest of the area. The staff was on point and the manager stopping by to great us and have a lil chat about our evening was a nice touch as well. nonetheless this is a quick lil drive from the city that I don't mind having for date night.

The calamari was tender and the coating was crispy. A perfect appetizer. I enjoyed, a delicious meal of Littleneck Clam Linguine, which I've been talking about ever since. My partner dined on the fresh fish of the day and thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. I thought it was an order at the counter and then find a seat restaurant so I was disappointed when they said there were reservations and they couldn't accommodate our party of two. When I had looked on the website, there was no place to make a reservation so I was surprised by this. I wish it had been more clear. Additionally, there was a sign to inform customers that the prices on the menu would be higher due to increased costs. The staff was friendly and asked if we wanted to order takeout instead- which we did. However, one of the reasons I chose this place was because I thought it was a casual counter style restaurant, that would have lower prices. I do realize seafood is expensive, but I would've chosen a seafood restaurant that would allow us to sit down. We ordered lobster rolls Connecticut style. They were fantastic and crabcakes, which were full of crab. The food was 5 stars but the lack of info about reservations coupled with the increased prices is 3 stars so I am settling on 4 stars. This restaurant is good as long as you know to make reservations and expect higher prices.

So, we ordered two "Flounder Baskets". Our order comes out and the fish is "hot and curled" like the center of a cinnamon roll" A filet is really 1 WHOLE piece of fish. It comes with a LEFT side and a RIGHT side. A filet cut in half is still a half a piece of fish, no matter "How you cut it". They cut it ALONG the spine, and that's what we "REELED IN" for 53.22$ 1.5 pieces of curled fish for my wife and 1.5 pieces of curled fish for me, along with 2 sides of fries. I didn't even get on "Is it wild caught or farm raised?" Customer service was great. A solid 9 stars. He was nice and attentive! It could have been 10, but he went way too heavy on the "seasoning" with "nah you get 3 BIG pieces". He was a little "Flaky" on that one. We enjoy looking for new places to eat. Someone going out to eat a nice fish dinner, for us it's a one and done. Especially if they are literally "cutting corners" on the portions. Food 5 stars. Because it was half of what it should have been. Ambience over the top Sensory Overload!!!!
