We were also told at sign-up that we could bring along our teen daughter and that she would be added to the contract. Last few times we tried to go (with her), they acted like we were breaking the rules. Made it uncomfortable to be there. There's more, but I think you get the picture. Stay away unless you like hemorrhaging money for nothing in return.

I normally work out late at night, but nearly 95% of the time I am there during the day, I have seen bats. And it is only after making a fuss about it do they bother to even do anything.

Massage bed turned off after 3 min and I just walked out. Work in the day and evening and signed up a year ago for a 24 hr gym. Started popping after work recently and they have been closed. I finally walked up to the door and saw extremely shrunken hours that serve me zero purpose. No notification. Really shows the scammy nature of planet fitness we all know, where most people pay and don't show up. but to shrink hours as soon as you get an influx of people signing up in January with know notification is wild.

I think this policy should be illegal as it charges a patron for a service they will not have. You should only be charged for an individual membership. This is common sense. The reason I cancelled the Family Membership is because I couldnt even bring my child into the gym. My son does wrestling and has since he was 6. He's 7 now and it's what he likes to do. We were kicked out of the gym and I had been paying for this non-useable family membership when THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME WHEN I SIGNED UP!!! Mr. Burns offers personal training as well mentorship and is always there to give you advice and help you improve your lifts or any area of fitness you desire. As well he is very good about making sure your payments are correct and if you need to pause your membership for a couple months or longer, Michael is a message away and will do it no problem. About Burns Barbell, My favorite part about this gym is that it's an 24 hour gym that you can access anytime with the swipe of your hand, not to mention also having a speaker you can connect to in the gym. With that the gym is very nice with modern, well working equipment and he is constantly buying new equipment to improve his gym. I've been a member since his previous location and the improvements are truly remarkable. There is a squat rack, power rack, deadlift platform and all the free weights + all the machines you could ever want IMO. There are yoga & Fitness classes with an attitude of "just do your best," no pressure to keep up when you can't. The yoga instructors are kind and helpful esp Melissa. If you're looking for free weights for the big compound movements or to just get moving with treadmills etc and weight machines I think you will find Club51 a haven. Staff is knowledgeable & courteous. Paid personal training is available I'm pretty sure but don't take my word, go check them out!
