And EVERYTIME they turn me away. There is usually no one there and they ask me to come back later or schedule something for another day. Maybe they are trying to be appointment only but i can't see that it's working because i don't ever see customers in there anymore. I used to get good service here, but now I've converted to nail reflections next to terrace theatre.

Initially I went in for a skin condition to which has proven difficult to treat by my dermatologist. I gladly went in with an open heart and open mind and was blown away by the effects of each session. I implemented the suggestions from Sarah and saw improvement in weeks time. It won't happen overnight but the gradual improvement I've seen speaks volumes. Scheduling an appointment is super easy with her website while viewing the available time slots. She can also work with your schedule if a time frame isn't available. The wellness studio itself is located within "The School House" to which provides classes, vendors, community yoga, venue space, and more. The waiting area itself feels like a spa with its calming music and babbling water fountain. The initial appointment consists of mostly discussing what issues are at hand and some time for acupuncture. Later sessions lead more time for the acupuncture treatment which kinda reminds me of a meditation moment. Sarah does an outstanding job listening, providing comforting words, and best of all allowed me to consider things I haven't thought of beyond the usual Western approach to medical maladies. My 30th birthday was coming up. I asked my mother if she would pay to get my hair done for my…read morebirthday. She agreed. I emailed the salon late one night and told them what I wanted done. They had emailed me back by the next morning. They said to call and ask for an appointment with Joey, the color specialist. I called and Joey answered the phone. I made an appointment for later in the week on Friday. Friday rolled around. I got to the salon around 2pm. Cosmotique is such a pretty salon! The building looks like it is shaped like an octagon. It is painted a beautiful shade of purple. They decorate with stars, suns, and moons! Inside the salon is just as beautiful. They have these cool star lights hanging by the windows. I was promptly greeted upon arrival. They told me to put a robe on from their selection in the bathroom. You can take your clothes off and hang them up in there, but I kept my dress on and just wore the robe over it. The bathroom was even pretty!!! When I got to the salon chair, Joey started asking me a bunch of questions about how I want my hair. I showed him a few pictures that I was looking at for ideas. On the email I sent the salon, I said I wanted my hair purple and blue. After looking through the Pinterest photos with Joey, we decided to add teal to the purple and blue hair. I was so happy that he had teal on hand already. No need to order it ahead of time. After Joey got a good idea of what I wanted done, he started the process. First, I needed highlights. So out came the bleach and foil. After he got it all foiled, he told me to just wait for about 20 minutes for it to set. So at that point I got a short break. When that was done, he took out the foil and washed my hair. We got back to the chair and he started to paint on the color! That had to sit for a few minutes also before he rinsed it out of my hair. Joey used the blow dryer to get my hair dry and pretty looking. He offered to style it anyway I wanted, but I liked it how it was! I was satisfied so I told him so and he let me go. The true test was when I went to use Snapchat after getting my hair done. I looked into my screen at myself and I said, WOW! My hair looks fabulous. I feel like a brand new person with this new hair color! I absolutely love it. Thank you, Joey, for doing such a great job! Thank you to everyone at Cosmotique for always being so nice!!
