Amazing get away! Love the owners Dave & Jamie, great hospitality. Cabins are so cute & the outdoor spaces are amazing. Coffee convenience right on property. I will be back every year!!!!!

Random door in bedroom that wasn't even going to anywhere in the condo

I wouldn't recommend this is place at all. There's many reasons. It smelled like cigarettes covered with lemon pledge. It's NOT really clean. It's was cleaned but it wasn't actually clean. There was non existent detail cleaning. All the bedroom furniture had dust built up around it, dead bugs in the nightstands the box spring fabric was torn and hanging down. There was items left behind the dresser and bed. (With the half inch of dust.) there was a random door inside the bedroom that didn't belong to that condo. The fridge barely kept anything cold even though it was on the coldest setting, there was food left in the cupboard from the previous people. All the tables and benches were super loose and wiggly. The grills that were left outside for use were not clean, weren't connected properly or maintained so there was always propane leaking out, which could of been dangerous but what made it even more dangerous was the bigger propane tank that was just feet away from the leaking grill. The air conditioner unit had been previously used on the dehumidifier setting but never emptied out. There was water that would spritz you so when we emptied it out because apparently maintenance is also something that is non existent there, we got two full cups of black chunky mold water out of it. The exhaust hose on the back of it wasn't connected really and was letting half the exhaust out into the condo. Someone had an used duct tape around it that didn't hold instead of buying a new hose. The lamp on the fireplace would randomly just turn off and on and it was kinda freaking all of us out. There was also a little bat that got stuck somehow in between the screen and door and apparently that was most exciting thing because we had a crowd of like 8 people staring up at our window. I've read all the reviews about the manager and owners and while she never did anything crazy to us, I could definitely tell the other reviewers weren't lying because she is Karen managers manager. Queen Karen. When we got there she was out harassing someone about not wearing a life jacket. Unsafe but also there choice. She had a attitude about her that I wasn't fond of. There's no customer service skills at all. No one greets you or even acknowledges your existence. The dude that works there looks like a major drunk. There was no catching fish for us because of the people that worked there or live there that created wake constantly in a no wake zone. Overall, i just wouldn't even think about going here. No not worth what we paid. We left a day early even. Didn't even ask any refund because it wasn't even worth the hassle of speaking to them.

    Uncleaned bathroom sink

We arrived around 3:30pm on 07/06/2023 (Thurs). We were greeted by a lady who gave me the key to Coyote cabin (Loft Cabin 3). I opened the door and realized right away, this was not the cabin we had booked on 08/02/2022. I went back up to the office and explained this was not the cabin in the pictures and the lady at the counter said that's what we booked. I went onto their website and showed her the cabin we booked (Loft Cabin 1 "Willow"). She called the owner on the phone (which we later found out was Jamie) and explained the situation. As we walked up to the front of the store, she said I would need to wait for about 10 minutes while Jamie gets back to the office. I said okay and went outside and waited. After about 10-15 minutes, I went back up to the office and tried to speak with Jamie. I explained to her the situation and she was very disrespectful, confrontational, and kept walking away from me. I asked her how the cabin could be booked when it was available online when we initially booked a year ahead of time. This was for a family reunion, in which was our first time. She explained she wouldn't do anything about it. I then asked again, how is it that the cabin was available online if it was actually already booked for that period, she rudely yelled, "I'LL JUST GIVE YOU A REFUND AND YOU CAN JUST STAY THERE!! WE HAVE NOTHING ELSE FOR YOU. WHAT'S WRONG WITH SLEEPING ON A FUTON?? THERE'S PLENTY OF BEDS IN THE CABIN!" After attempting to continue speaking with her (telling her I could not walk up the steps to the loft to sleep on the regular bed, etc.) with no regard to continuing to rectify the situation, I went back outside. I let the family know what had happened and we started to unpack our things in the cabin. Our relative went back inside to speak with Jamie again. After awhile, he came back outside and said there's nothing she will do for us. After some time, my husband went inside to speak with Jamie about getting a refund and speaking with her about being disrespectful towards myself and our family. He came back outside and said he tried to figure it out but she was yelling at him. She then opened up the office doors, walking really fast towards us, and started yelling saying we paid $150 a night and the other cabin is $160 a night and repeating herself from what she continued to say earlier. She accused my husband of verbally abusing her and bringing another customer into the situation. I told her she was very disrespectful towards me and running a business with that kind of customer service was not acceptable. I then told her I was done speaking with her and didn't care to hear anything else and she walked off. After inspecting the cabin, we found out the A/C unit was broken and a portable one was placed in the kitchen, which took up the entire space of the kitchen, the shower was not cleaned, the coffee pot still had old coffee in it with the used Folgers coffee sitting on the counter, some of the plugs didn't work, the porch light didn't work, and the floors were not swept or cleaned. Since we were not placed in the cabin we originally were supposed to be in, we had to purchase blankets and pillows, there was no stove, no oven, no full fridge with freezer, and not the proper beds or bedding. We checked out a day early (07/09/2023 @ 11:00am) because our back pain became so unbearable, we couldn't sleep there another night. The owner Jamie was completely rude the entire time. We couldn't come to them with things wrong in the cabin because Jamie yelled at us just for asking questions about why we weren't in the correct cabin. While looking up rates of the cabins, the vary all the time and it's not consistent so when she said we didn't pay for the Willow cabin, I knew she was lying (proof is in the email confirmation!). We have contacted BBB, Attorney's General, FTC, and will be posting on all other review sites.

The Loon Lake / Wilderness Inn motels look like most other small roadside motels from the outside, but the design, cleanliness, comfort, and amenities of their well designed rooms are what you expect to find at hotels that charge twice their rates. The Loon Lake and Wilderness Inn Motels should be your first choice if you're passing through this area. Highly recommend.

One is the LL Motel and the other is the Wilderness Inn & RV Park. Both of these appear on just one website with the Motel showing first. As such, as one scrolls down looking at the various rooms, at first glance and you'd presume it's just one property, what appears to be a multi-story house and in front of it, a row of about 8 rooms all side-by-side each other. Not catching what the website was showing, I made a reservation at what I thought was the motel. In fact, it was the Inn although I went to the motel to check-in but this business does everything via Text msg. Meaning, there's no front desk with someone behind it when one arrives. After one's res is confirmed, you're sent info via Text where it's explained that you will receive a code that you enter into a mechanical device to retrieve your key to your room [an actual housekey] that's at the front of the property. The problem with this though, I received back-to-back Txt msgs and the 2nd one was rather lengthy, hence, I missed a picture of the actual property I had a res for, the Inn. Had to place a call when the code I was entering wouldn't work so I couldn't collect the key. At this point and I'm told I have a room not at the motel but at the Inn and I'm given directions on where it's located. Not mentioned on the website, the Inn, it faces the traffic circle [within spitting distance] that intersects US Hwy 395 and WA Hwy 292 which means you'll hear truckers gearing down to go through the circle until 10 or 11 pm. Terrific. It appeared as if this Inn is undergoing refurbishment so not all rooms were ready to be used. I grab my bag and hit the stairs. The risers on a few steps, they're not all the same length. No big deal... but if one uses a cane. Upon entering the room and it's noticeable, there's space so 2 people aren't going to be bumping into each other and the door doesn't hit the bed. There's a fake fireplace opposite the bed with a lounge chair and ottoman in front of it. It sits low to the floor so if you're over 6' in height, it can be a challenge to get out of as this chair has no arms. The room was sufficiently appointed but it didn't take this traveler long to figure out, the room had been sitting vacant for some time. The tell-tale signs: a good amount of dust on various horizontal surfaces was present and all the lights in the room, their shades had cobwebs. While the AC/Heater does have a filter, it had not been cleaned in quite sometime. Soaps & shampoos in small bottles sat atop the sink and a rack on the opposite wall had plenty of towels. What would have been nice, some sink counterspace to set down one's shaving kit. There isn't any so it's either the top of the toilet, above the refrigerator, or if you're so inclined, the floor. As I called it a night, after I turn off the lights, the room is still lit up in the bathroom [it's open to the room, there's no door]. Turns out, the hair dryer has a built-in light and it's plugged in. Outta bed to unplug the device and that does the trick. Or so I thought. But lying in bed and now I've got a brand new light source, and one I can't UNPLUG. Once the sun sets, outside lights turn on. But this is now the reason why I've got half my room lit up with a nice beam of light! And this beam, it's coming from the doorjamb from top to bottom, meaning the length of the door. So what's causing all this light to enter the room? Welp, in this case, between the side of the door and the jamb, there's a 3/8th's inch GAP. Exactly, large enough to let the outside lights shine nice and brightly into the room. To resolve this situation, I scrounged up items within the room to place between the door and the jamb so I could eventually fall asleep. There was just one more thing I took issue with, which I came upon on my last night's stay. While reading a map, I looked up at the ceiling. I notice the smoke detector but after staring at it, I realize, something's missing. There's no LED that should blink every couple of seconds. No LED means no power or dead battery. So I remove the detector. It's hardwired and unplugged. I plug it in and it starts to beep. It doesn't stop. This is why it's disconnected. I leave notice to the owner via a short note about what you've read here and what does she do? In a nutshell, she goes off the rails and comes unglued and complains to this CUSTOMER about what I came across. I text back: "hey cupcake, you're in the hospitality industry and don't like constructive FEEDBACK, especially when a nonfunctioning safety device IS NOT WORKING, thereby jeopardizing MY LIFE, really???? Glad there was no fire during my stay. To the Stevens County of Washington state Building Dept: get someone out to this business BEFORE THERE IS A FIRE!

Our stay was 4 nights and we booked several experiences for our time there. The first was a 90 minute massage. The massage room overlooks the marina and is beautiful. The massage itself was just okay. He asked the area he should concentrate and actually that area felt the least attended to. However, it was still very relaxing. My friend and I also booked "Hot winter night" at the infinity pool. This was so much fun as they have an adult hour and lucky for us the center above the pool was hosting prom. Yep- we got our dancing queen on. Might have annoyed the cute couples around us, but a girl's gotta dance! We also booked the "Floating in Frequency" on that Sunday morning. It was a small class and we drifted comfortably around the pool to the sound bowls. Highly recommend! Food is great at the resort and Beverly's "Lakeview Menu" is a great deal. Available until 5:30 each day, you get a 3 course meal for $29.99 with an optional wine pairing for $24.95. We had a window view and got to know the local geese (guarding their nests along the edge) June 2026- Had another friend in town and of course wanted her to experience this resort. We stayed 4 nights in Lake Tower and this time had a west facing view which had beautiful sunsets. The outdoor pool had opened, but we only visited once as it was windy and cold. Instead, we booked a "Girl's escape package" This included massages for both, lunch, and a pedicure. We had a great time. July 4th weekend 2026- This was a last minute book for us, and if we planned ahead would have gone for Lake Tower. However, we were pleasantly surprised at our view of the fireworks from the Park Tower Marina room (stay was 3 nights). This was probably the best for us since we had our dog Luna. It didn't have a balcony, so better for her not to hear the load booms. We spent a day at the infinity pool (rented a beach cabana) and ate dinner early. Then spent the time in the room waiting away for the crowds. The show was amazing and I've never been so close to fireworks with such an amazing view. We had an amazing time!
