The only place I take may dog anymore, as well as my mom's dog. Both have Some anxiety issues, But she always works with them so well. My mom's lab has never let anybody touch her paws. My groomer was fully booked for the holidays so I had to find another place to groom my pup. As always, I looked to Yelp for help! And I came across Dee's Doggie Do's. They had great ratings so I thought I'd give it a shot! I called and unfortunately they said they couldn't fit my pup in. But a couple mins later, Hope called me back and said she could stay a little later today to fit Grizzly in! I was sooo grateful since it was super busy everywhere. Especially because it is the holidays. The place was super cute and clean. I showed Hope how I wanted Grizz to look. I also asked if she do the whole packaged grooming (wash, groom, teeth, nails, etc.). The appointment went great! Grizz came back a new pup!!! He def looks sooo spiffy!! I was recommended by a friend to come here after a bad experience of another groomer resorting to shaving my havanese's long hair multiple times of coming in. We dropped our dog off at 8 am Sunday with Melissa and we were told he would be done in three hours. We also mentioned we wanted his hair to be kept long. We told her of his problem areas under his arms and she said it would be fine. Not only did she keep a great length on him, we got a phone call three hours on the dot he was ready to be picked up. When I took a look around, i thought it was odd they lock the doors. I asked if the dogs have free range of the office and she said no. However, she let us know our dog hung out in her room with her on one of the dog hooks. I love that he wasn't in a kennel waiting around. I also loved that they don't overwhelm themselves with groomers and dogs everywhere. It seemed as though she was the only one working and was able to provide him the full attention. Melissa was affectionate and kind to our dog the moment we walked in and I would book with her again. The price is a little more than other places, but I'm very happy with the service and results. The atmosphere here is very friendly and not overstimulating. You don't see dogs in kennels with dryers being blown on them. It doesn't smell like shampoo chemicals and our dog didn't smell like awful perfume. I look forward to keep giving Dee's our business! read more

I've taken my dog here twice now and Hope has taken care of her. I have had some bad experiences in the past with other groomers. Hope worked pretty quickly, I wasn't prepared to pick my dog up right away and she let me pick her up a little later. Hope is very nice and you can tell she takes pride in her work and loves the dogs she works with. Today I took my dog in for another groom and brush out. I took my Shiranian here and they did an overall decent job. It was expensive for what it was and they shaved next to her eyes really low and cut them on both sides. It also took them almost 4 hours to cut her hair. I won't be coming back. read more

I have taken my buddy to Petsmart in the past to be groomed since it is cheap, but he absolutely hates it. I decided to try something different this time and I liked the reviews I saw for Dees Doggie Do's. I called last minute to see if I could get him in the next day and Dee was so prompt, got him in at 11am the next morning. Even sent me a nice text message to remind me which was perfect. When I dropped him off he actually led ME to the door and when I picked him up he was as happy as could be. Dee even said he was great for them. I had warned her sometimes he can be grouchy but he wasn't at all with them, which I really liked to hear. He smelled great, she was happy to use the shampoo bar that I brought, he looked great, so soft and came out with a smile. I will definitely be bringing him back to this wonderful grooming salon. Dee is such a sweetheart and really enjoys her work. I had a groomer I was loyal to for years, but due to a relocation I was in need of someone to take care and maintain my dog's do. Her prices are very reasonable and she always does a great job. I have a schnauzer and while they are cute with the traditional haircut, Dee is always willing to do the crazy cuts i find and bring in pictures of. Gracie had her first visit today at Dee's. She has always had a hard time at the groomers. Diane did a great job with her! Gracie struggles with the loud noises of the dryer and clippers. Diane was very reassuring and didn't push Gracie, letting her air dry around her face. Gracie's haunches were quite a mess and Diane did a fabulous job shaping them up without cutting them too short. Hands down the best groomer in pierce county! I took my dog Mia to Dee's about a month ago and was so impressed! Not only was the atmosphere nice and clean but the lady who groomed my dog was very nice and professional. I hated when I dropped my dog off somewhere and would wait 5+ hours for her to be ready when I had dropped her off first thing in the AM. When I dropped Mia off a little after opening she was done in 2 hours! I was SO impressed! All the employees seem to actually care about the health and well-being or your fur baby! Normally my dog shakes for hours after going to the groomer. But this time she was totally fine! Will continue to go to this groomer from now on! :)! read more

I took my pomeranian, Richie, there for the first time on Saturday. He went in looking a little scruffy and definitely needed a bath (I had just gotten him 2 weeks before.) Dee was so nice and friendly from the start of the visit. You can tell she loves her job. It took her about an hour to do his grooming session and he came back so handsome! I cannot express how happy we are with the services at Dee's Doggie Do's we previously went to Woofer's for my Westie because it was near our home. We had a terrible experience in both service and customer service. We were a little on edge after that but Dee is great. She is knowledgeable about breeds, basic doggie health, and cuts. She is also friendly, prompt, and has reasonable prices for the service provided. My dog is always a happy pup when he leave's and he looks/smells amazing too! Beware don't decide to make an appointment with this company and by mistake lose track of time. Because when they call to let you know your late and you say you can be there in just minutes you will be charged a fee, if you want to reschedule you will be charged a fee. And here's the big one even if the groomer doesn't tell you on the phone when your talking to them about not going to come to them for their services be ready to be billed the full amount plus. Since it's obviously not customer service driven its more about making more money cause I said that I wasn't going to pay for no services received and was told she'd just take it further which means more fees and then collections. So word of mouth works both ways, please don't make the same mistake that I made. read more

I am so happy to have found a excellent Groomer for my little fur friend :) My Charlie is a rescue and afraid of everyone & everything. He's a 2 yr old "Morkie" who spent the first 1 1/2 yrs in a cage, neglected, so the world probably seems way to big for him. When I brought him to Dee, and told her about him, she was super compassionate. Charlie took right to her!!! The I picked him up only 2 hrs later, he looks so good!!! I heard about Dee's Doggie Do's from Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue where I volunteer. Dee volunteers to groom the Rescue dogs any time they are in need, so I knew my pup would be in good hands. I have a large Golden Retriever that is wiggly and full of energy and groomer Hope was available to do Bailey at a time that worked for me. Hope was wonderful with my wiggly girl and I couldn't believe how great she looked when I picked her up. She even got an adorable bow in her hair and her shedding has been cut down tremendously. My dog had matts behind her ears and Hope was able to remove them as well as trim her down. She made her looking wonderful. I'll be returning for sure!!! read more
