Super with my overactive daughter and even though it was my daughter's very very time getting braided, she didn't complain once about it hurting. It's been a little over 3 weeks since my daughter got her braids and she hasn't been the best at keeping her hair kept (inconsistent with wearing her bonnet at night and always going swimming in the pool) but her braids are still very much intact and she still gets compliments about them when we're out.
