I don't need to say much. I'm from philly and the guy who owns the truck is from philly too and he truly brought home with him in that truck. As soon as I bit into my cheesesteak I felt right at home. He even had the type of Chinese from home that I adore but I didn't want to be to greedy lol. Either way this is the only true place on the island to get a cheesesteak and trust me I've checked every place that has them in the menu cause I was that desperate. To get to this man I had to cross the whole island so as you can see I was serious lol. GO TO HIM IF YOU WANT A REAL CHEESESTEAK I MEAN IT Had my friend take me here again cause again I missed home so he had to walk up and order for me. Mostly I just wanted my daughter to try the closest thing to my home food as she's gonna get for now so I got some Chinese and another cheesesteak. Again HOME FEELING ON POINT

Tasty food. Ordered Beef chow fun, Philly Cheese Steak, Spring Rolls. Chow fun is a big portion. Flavorful. Cheese steak could benefit from being more moist, but still good. Prices are surprisingly cheap, like pre pandemic.

    REAL PHILLY CHEESESTEAK IN HAWAII

I was very surprised to see Cambodian food in Hawaii. While waiting in line for Giovanni's, I spotted this truck across the way. I walked over and was surprised to see a lovely Cambodian couple from Philly. We chatted for over thirty minutes about how they got there and I ordered some nice home cooked Cambodian/Chinese food to take back to my hotel. The cambodian food was spot on (the curry and beef sticks). I actually came back the next day because I was craving a philly cheesesteak. Not going to lie...this tasted SUPER authentic to what I had back in Philly (without the cheez whiz). I went back A THIRD time for a philly cheesesteak before leaving. Would recommend coming here for sure.

There are so many options at this food truck...and sometimes it's a good thing, sometimes it's not...but for my first time here the food was perfect. I waited about ten mins to order (no one in line ahead of me, but he was completing other orders), then about another ten for him to prepare my food. Guys-this place is worth the wait. The food tastes so fresh. I got the green curry chicken, and it's the best curry chicken I've had in years. My husband got food from another food truck and he wanted my dish! This place is worth the wait. I can't wait to try other items from their menu!

Lots of good south east Asian food on this menu, but I came here for one item and I found a lot more. I came for a Philadelphia cheesesteak. I moved to North Shore Hawaii from Southeast Pennsylvania about two years ago and this is one thing that I missed. A neighbor told me about this place and I searched it out and I was not disappointed. Jay, the owner lived in Philadelphia for over 25 years and he serves up the real deal. (it's also quirky that you can get Funnel Cake at the stand next-door food truck). There's lots of fresh shrimp dishes on the menu and green Curry chicken. All good.

We came to this area of North Shore to try the shrimp truck and I happened upon Kampuchea Kitchen as I was checking out all the vendor options. I absolutely did not expect to find Cambodian food on my week-long trip to Oahu but was happily surprised!! I ordered the beef sticks with fried rice and the beef tasted just like the one my Cambodian mom makes at home! I chatted with the owners and had not read or seen anything about them before and so it was a pleasant surprise to find out the couple was from Philadelphia, which is where I grew up. Anyways, the beef sticks are marinaded well and taste delicious! I truly preferred it over the super buttery shrimp from the super popular shrimp truck nearby.

    Menu - notice the title.

This place is to the left of Giovanni's. It's an orange and white food truck next to Aloha Espresso. They don't have a sign but their menu says "Jay & Touch's Happy Burger". We had the Mushroom Cheesesteak, Fish Sandwich and Combo#3; Orange Chicken, Steak Peppers and rice. Everything was made to order and super delicious! We wanted to try something different from the numerous offerings of garlic shrimp and this place didn't disappoint. Take cash as it is the only form of payment.

Green curry that's authentic and not loaded with sugar. Everyone in line ordered Philly cheesesteak. Gonna have to try that next.

The ribeye is super tender and both plates have so much flavor packed into it! I tried the Braised Boneless Kalbi and it is good and super soft! He is always our first stop of the list because you just can't risk certain items running out! (Trust me, I had this happen to me the first time and I was a very sad camper with what was left)

Both extremely solid 9/10. If you like poke, you'll probably like it pan-fried. The spicy ahi flavor is familiar, but the change in cook method adds a different dimension. If you like shrimp, and can handle a smidge of spice, you'll probably like the Cajun version. However, the limiting factor could be location. The food is unbelievable! Sometimes there's a line out the door, but the team is efficient--so always wait! This location is in Chinatown on Maunakea. Your service is absolute garbage. This morning, I called to place an order. I initially tried using Vietnamese to order two PDBs, but the woman who answered couldn't understand me. I switched to English and asked for two "Pho Combinations." She understood that, took the order, and told me it would be ready in 10 minutes. I also wanted to order Quẩy, so I asked, "Can I get one Quẩy?" Again, she didn't understand. So I clarified in English: "Add one Chinese doughnut." Guess what her response was? She condescendingly told me, "This is a Vietnamese restaurant, not a Chinese restaurant." What the hell is your problem? On your very own menu, that item is literally listed as a "Chinese doughnut." As a server, you don't even know your own restaurant's menu, yet you have the audacity to respond to a customer with such an arrogant, rude, and racially discriminatory attitude. It's disgusting. Everyone knows you are a Vietnamese restaurant. But Quẩy is widely known as a Chinese doughnut, and that is exactly how it is written on your menu. Learn your own menu. To make matters worse, when I arrived 20 minutes later, the front desk told me my phone order hadn't even been made yet and that I had to wait. What on earth was the point of me calling ahead? It's a complete joke. If you are going to be this arrogant and rude, and if you hate Chinese culture so much, why is your restaurant located in Chinatown? Why don't you move to a Vietnamese neighborhood? This is Chinatown. This restaurant has incredibly low-quality staff and a glaring issue with discrimination. It is absurd that an employee can work here without even knowing the menu. To openly disrespect and discriminate against Chinese customers--when you are located in Chinatown and 80% of your repeat customers are Chinese--is pathetic. Take your business elsewhere.
