The music was on point, service and the Deja Vu shrimp and grits were good. It's a nice little chill spot.

Staff was very friendly and informative. The 4 for $25 appetizers were better than the main courses we ordered.

I only got pictures of the red snapper jambalaya, but I also had the barbancourt wings and the rum punch.

This place has changed so much over the last four years--and while a lot can change in that time,…read moreit was still disappointing to see. I stopped by on a weekday around 3:00-4:00 p.m., right as happy hour was starting. According to their website, happy hour runs from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The main reason I came was for their frozen rosé, which I remembered being one of the best. It's definitely more of a sweet, refreshing drink than a strong one, but it still gives you a nice buzz. I was even willing to pay full price for it. I literally paid for an Uber just because I was craving that frozen drink. The first thing I noticed was that, despite it being broad daylight, there was a security guard at the door checking IDs and searching bags. That's their policy, and that's fine, but what really stood out was the condition of the entrance. The front door was cracked and held together with duct tape. It seemed odd to be so focused on security while basic maintenance appeared to be neglected. When I walked in, I was only the second customer in the entire bar besides the bartender. Unfortunately, I found out the frozen drink machines have been broken for months, so there were no frozen drinks available at all. The bartender mentioned that she has repeatedly told management the machines need to be repaired, but nothing has been done. Since that was the only reason I came, and nothing else on the menu really caught my interest, I decided not to stay. This place has changed dramatically since the COVID era. The atmosphere feels completely different. One of the things I used to enjoy was their hookah happy hour, which was around $25 with refills for about $10-$15, and they had a great selection of flavors. From what I've heard, they no longer offer hookah, and it sounds like they may not have had the proper license back then, which is concerning if true. Another thing I miss is the outdoor seating area they had during COVID. The indoor space is pretty small, but the outdoor setup made the bar feel much larger and created a much better atmosphere. It's disappointing that they didn't keep it because I think it really added to the experience and probably helped attract more customers. Sorry I didn't take any photos, but honestly, there wasn't much worth photographing. The interior hasn't really changed, so the existing photos online are still an accurate representation of what it looks like still.

The…read morevenue has two sections--downstairs and ground level--but the separate entrances can be confusing. We accidentally walked into a private event downstairs (everyone was dressed in white with balloons and a photo backdrop) before security redirected us to the right side. Once seated, we looked at the menu and decided to order a bottle since we planned to stay for a while and there was a special being advertised. We also got a hookah, which cost $40, with refills at $25--way too high in my opinion. Drink prices ranged from $18-$28 and food from $23-$38, which felt more like upscale restaurant prices than a lounge. When I asked about the bottle special, the waitress had to confirm with a man--who seemed completely unaware of the promotion. Thankfully, I had a screenshot, and even the hookah attendant confirmed it was posted. After some back and forth, the waitress honored the deal, but it definitely dampened the vibe. The place started to fill up later on, with a live DJ and good energy. But about three hours in, the waitress came over and said, "The owner would like you to pay for the bottle now." That caught us off guard--we had already ordered food and had no intention of leaving without paying. To make things worse, she "thanked" us for not skipping out on the bill, which was offensive and completely unnecessary. Turns out, the hookah girl never put in our food order despite taking it on her handheld device. At that point, we were completely turned off. We paid for the bottle and left. The Bleu Room has potential, but their service, communication, and assumptions about customers need serious improvement. They lost out on more business by making us feel unwelcome. SMH.

I do not recommend this place whatsoever. We were seated in the basement and it was not a vibe…read more There was as no DJ, one bartender and a server who was extremely inattentive. It was chaos. Food took forever, and the portions were inconsistent especially when we ordered all the same meals. here was lackluster apology given by management but that's it. They seem to have regulars who they cater to over the rest of the patrons. Came here to celebrate a promotion and was extremely underwhelmed.
