I'm new to the OC area, so I like trying out different lash studios to see which one I would most consistently visit. The pros are that they seem to have a lot of availability and the online appointment booking was very easy. When I arrived, check in was also very easy and the studio was clean and beautiful. My lash esthetician was Morgan, and she was very informative and asked what style I wanted, how long I wanted my lashes, etc. I'm always wary of going to a new place because I have monolid eyes and sometimes people might not always do a good job, but she did what I asked for, so I'm happy about that. It's just that my right eye is a little smaller than my left so maybe I should've asked if she could make the right eye lashes look slightly more dramatic so they look more even. But 2 of the lashes seemed to be put on not too close to the lash line, so it's only been a week and I see a lot of separation already. This is the first lash studio I've come across that already has their volume or hybrid lashes already pre-set, instead of attaching 3+ individual lashes per your real lash. So I was wary about that too, that it would look disconnected/separated but it's been a week and it's been OK so far, but I don't think many of my lash extensions have fallen out yet. The cons are that their pricing is a lot higher than other places I've been to. I originally made an appointment at the Lake Forest location because it's closest to my house, but because something unexpected came up with school, I had to reschedule and only Costa Mesa had the day and time that I could do. Unfortunately, after my lashes were done, it was then that the news was reported to me that this location didn't offer a new client special pricing like other locations do (Lake Forest has their hybrids for $129.99, Costa Mesa has theirs for $149.99). Technically they do, because they charged me a member price vs. non-member price, but next time I could easily go to another studio and get a full hybrid set for $120 for a similar quality lash job with other material - faux mink for example, rather than synthetic - (even if I'm not a first time client) and without having to pay for a membership. Because I'm someone who doesn't get lashes consistently, the membership pricing structures that seem to be the fad these days don't work for me. read more

Found this place on Groupon in my area and I got a lash lift+ tint. The office was very clean and nice, employees were also very nice. Got my lashes done my Emaya 2 days ago. They are so beautiful! I have never gotten eye lash extensions before, so it was definitely a positive experience. She was friendly and had great conversation. The location was also very clean, especially the restrooms. The work she did was very high quality! I can't even feel the lashes. My eyes don't feel weighted down (which was a concern for me). Julia was very sweet and accommodating. The location was a little difficult to find, but it's on the front side corner of the plaza on 19th near the 24 hour fitness entrance next to coffee bean. It only took Julia an hour from start to finish which was great and saved us both on time. I had a complimentary service card, but when scheduling, they need a card on file for cancellations or upgrade purposes. I loved my lashes! I love the eyelash extensions I got. At the suggestion of Angela, my Lash Artist, I went with a little extra curl and length and they turned out great. I was nervous it would be too much but I figured, if I'm getting them mightiest well make sure it is noticeable. They don't feel heavy and are pretty comfortable. This is the first time I get them done here and they where gentle and very nice. I especially like that after letting Angela know I wanted them for my vacation she asked me where I was going and what the climate was. I thought it was small talk, but she wanted to know so she could give her full recommendations. As the humidity, and sea water could make some of my lashes fall. I took her advice and so far so good.
