After receiving the very special honor of ROTD I decided what a perfect evening to hit up Del Fuego for this special occasion. They never disappoint! Place was hopping like every other night. Lol. No surprise since their service is on point, bartenders are amazing, and food is always fresh and delicious. Got to see our number one manager Jesse last night and referenced our first meeting back in September. He immediately knew ya and treated us very well. Huge thank you to Jesse for an excellent evening. Decided to steer from my normal conquistador margarita and got the bee hive drink!!! Omg yumminess! Coolest part they put honeycomb cereal as a garnish! For dinner I went with the carnitas enchiladas. The portion is ridiculous! Flavors on point. Loved the fried plantains inside to give a sweet flare to the dish. The guacamole has so much lime, just the way I love it!!! Nom nom. Came on a Friday night. The wait was 45mins. The chips and salsa provided were fresh and crisp. They brought us refills no problem. Our waitress and service was great and quick. We had guacamole which wasn't table side but still delicious. We all only had 1 drink, because they were $12/$13 for a margarita in a small glass which we didn't think was worth it. Meals were tasty but the presentation was sloppy. Restaurants like Besito or Caracara make a stronger drink for $11/$12 and presentations are nicer/cleaner. And also have tableside guac. read more

Wow. Where has Del Fuego been all my life?! Came here on a Friday afternoon with some coworkers for lunch. We had made a reservation knowing that we were going to be a big party. When most of us got there the hostess brought us to our table. From the outside looking in, the restaurant doesn't appear to be that big. But we kept on walking...and walking. She brought us to a lovely outdoor patio, and sat us at a nice long table. The patio has a super cozy feel and perfect for a summer afternoon/night. On to food! The chips and salsa was delicious. That salsa....damn! I've never tasted anything like it before. So mmmmmmmgood! We started off with guacamole. They offer a few different guacamole styles on their menu, but we went with the classic style. It was basic, but it was tasty. Most of us got tacos! $3.50 tacos! $4 for shrimp, steak or fish. There are other lunch specials available as well. I went with shrimp tacos and mesquite pulled chicken tacos. So much flavor explosion! Drinks were good. Beers and margaritas! Service was excellent! Dined at Del Fuego recently at the recommendation of some friends who frequent the restaurant. First and foremost, all covid19 protocols are being strictly followed for all their indoor dining requirements. Additionally, everything was cleaned and sanitized thoroughly before we were seated. The staff was both pleasant and accommodating which made the experience all the better. Food wise, we had no complaints. The guac was solid, as was the house salsa. Very tasty and flavored well. Drinks were strong which was appreciated, of course. For our mains, we all enjoyed tacos of varying styles and were left both satisfied hunger wise and had enough for takeout leftovers. The outdoor seating is a available, it's a perfect size. They have picnic tables and smaller tables. They have a bar outside, and it is open for drinks but you have to order from your table. I enjoyed my tacos. But mostly the chips and dip I originally came to get the chips dip and drinks, but I wasn't feeling the Margarita. My friends all loved them so I was probably just off, I ordered tacos and stuffed my face with sweet plantains! I had an awesome time except there was a bee buzzing around the plants ... and us. Let me start off on a positive note. You can use your $100 bill (split between two people) to swat at the abundance of fruit flies that will accompany you to dinner. We were sat at a corner table right next to the kitchen-- in case the fruit fly infestation wasn't alarming enough on its own, regardless of placement. Half of my boyfriend's wrapped was slathered in cheap barbecue sauce. The other half had almost none. I had the taco trio and they charged us extra, with a more expensive taco option on the bill. The menu says "ANY" three tacos, but I guess cutting corners on pest control isn't enough to keep the joint running. The Buffalo chicken taco was disgusting, please avoid it. The pulled pork should have been served with pineapple not corn; really weird decision on the chef's part given that both Adobada and Al Pastor tacos are served with pineapple NOT corn to sweeten the taste. But it wasn't horrendous. The brisket was alright, but nothing special. Also way too much cheap barbecue sauce within it, even though it was supposed to be served with some kind of aioli. The chips & salsa and fries were the only redeeming food items. The staff was pretty friendly and on top service though, so props to them! Hope y'all are able to find a workplace that serves better food so your patrons tip you more. read more

First time checking this place out with some friends. We wanted to eat some tacos, watch the Chiefs game and stay somewhat local. We decided on this place because we had heard good things from friends. The ambience was not bad, it wasn't overly crowded and there was basically no wait time. Between the three of us, we ordered the nachos, a few drinks and tacos. Nachos: 4/5 - Not bad at all. Good amount of toppings and had a generous proportion. Drinks: 3.5/5 - I didn't think the drinks were outrageously special; however, I did find them to be a tad bit pricier than I expected them to be. Tacos: 2.5/5 - I wasn't impressed with the main course tacos. They felt somewhat bland and didn't have a great amount of seasoning. The chicken looked like dark meat instead of white meat. The pulled pork was too juicy and chewy to enjoy. Overall, I thought the tacos, which I was most excited about, could have been better. At the end of our time there, we were stuffed because there was actually a lot of food between the three of us. The nachos are more than enough for 3-4 people and I think two tacos for the majority of people will be more than enough. I just wish they would change up the recipe a bit. Recently found this place while in village and gave it a try. This is my second time back and wont be the last. Food is delicious and portions are very generous. Servers very attentive and personable. I have found my new go-to for Mexican food. All Covid protocols being followed, dividers between tables, staff are wearing masks and customers masked when not eating, hand sanitizer upon entry and in dining room and alcohol based cleanser in bathroom. Better experience. Food was not as salty. The waitress Kristen was very friendly. Food was served without long waits. Food was amazing and no issues. Only time that was bit annoying was the wait for the check. Of course places get busy and getting the check can wait but noticed lot of talking with other co worker who just clocked in. Seemed like she forgot but glad to say this experience was better than the last. Improvements to be considered would be that the lighting in the back is not good. For anyone who has been seated in back of restaurant will know. They follow Covid Safety as well for anyone curious. This means they have divided tables with plastic screens. Bar is same. My sister has celiac disease and cannot have gluten or any cross contamination. They are really great with her dietary needs. Went to check out baked by grace and ended up meeting some friends for lunch and opted for Del Taco. Never heard of it but hard to pass up on tacos for lunch. The place itself was nice, with a nice set up and plenty of TVs. The waitress came and took our drink orders quick and and the chips and salsa came out fast much to my delight. We had a great lunch special for $10 you either get a burrito or three tacos and a soft drink. However, when my wife went to order the burrito special and a side of fries, the waitress informed us would be cheaper just to get the burrito meal. Thanks for the heads up. I opted for the three mushroom quesadilla and brisket taco. We also split their queso and chips. Luckily the queso came with more chips and salsa is fine by me. However itself is quite watery and did not have so much flavor to it. The burrito was really good and filling according to my wife and the mushroom quesadilla was great. The brisket taco on the other hand filling as it was, did not have much flavor. The best part of the meal was they have a ton of hot sauces you could try, as well other tables have different flavors as well so I ran through about 12 different types of hot sauce. Came on a Sunday afternoon, small party. Kind staff, unfortunately horrible food. I'm Spanish and to call this Spanish food is a joke. I'm not sure why I expected more, but I could get more flavor out of an old el paso taco packet. The sangria was tasteless, cheap wine. The food though... just so, so bad. Once you get beyond the salt in the meal, you just are left with the most tasteless meal you can get. Stale rice and beans, the chimichangas (their take was one giant chimichanga filled with salty, overcooked steak drenched in cheddar cheese, it was one of the saddest things I've seen in a while... The tacos trio was a bland, tasteless joke. You had to see it to believe it. I could not recommend this place for anything. I'm sure for some folks they would find it "good" but if you're looking for a tasty authentic Spanish meal, we'll this ain't it. Bad drinks, bad food. This is one restaurant that I love going to. The tacos are a little messy but it's still great. There are so many good dishes to pick from, and the drinks are good too. I don't have a favorite dish here yet, but I know I'll have one soon. I love how it's set up. The fact that it doesn't feel like you're cramped. I went there with my fiancé and our families and they accommodated us within about a 30 minute notice. There's a little Backroom for parties and such, which I love because you're totally separate from the restaurant. Our server, would come outside (where we were sitting) and wouldn't come to get our empty plates or ask to get more drinks, but it wasn't once, it was every TIME!!
