Found my new favorite Mexican spot and am already looking forward to coming back here! First off, the manager was very personable and friendly and the space itself is trendy. The food was so good, I have no complaints! They give out complementary chips and salsa and the salsa was one of the better ones I've had dining out, it had a lot of flavor to it. I got a vegetable fajita that came with all of the fixings and everything was just so delicious and seasoned very well. We had such a fantastic experience at Salsa Salsa! The cocktails were incredible -- that passion fruit margarita was everything, and the other two drinks we tried were just as creative and flavorful. The food completely blew us away. The corn-crusted calamari with aioli was so good, and the bang bang shrimp disappeared in seconds. The crispy wings with garlic glaze were absolute perfection. The tacos were packed with flavor, and the 3 Little Pigs quesadilla with bacon, pulled pork, and chorizo was cheesy, savory, and delicious. We finished off on a sweet note with the tres leches and Reese's fried ice cream, which were the perfect ending to a fun meal. I get this location in three stars because the food was OK. We ordered a bunch of different things. The drinks were pretty good. I felt like they were strong, and the ambience of the restaurant was very casual. You could walk in there at any time of day and you don't have to worry about attire. The restaurant is a little bit small. There's not too many tables. I'm not sure how they are on their busiest times, but I went on a weekend late night and it was pretty empty. The food was OK. It wasn't anything mind blowing, but it was pretty good Tex-Mex food if that's what you're looking for something simple like tacos quesadillas then that's the place to go. I saw it had really great reviews on TikTok and decided to give it a try I didn't think that it was expensive at all appetizers entrées drinks and desserts came out to a little over $100 which was pretty good. I just felt that the dessert was expensive at almost $16 for ice cream. It was a little bit pricey the food is also your basic Tex-Mex food. I was a little bit confused with the appetizer because we ordered the special Chicharron's and it was deep fried chicken balls so based off of my culture, it's not the same thing where I'm from, but it was still pretty good. I would go back if I'm in the area and I'm hungry and wanna go to a sitdown restaurant and not break the bank. The only thing that was a little bit uncomfortable was the service. The bus boy was a delight. The waiter just kept making jokes, and it started to become a little bit uncomfortable. Every time he came to the table it wasn't a bad experience. It was just a little bit of an overkill, but I would definitely give it a try if you're in the area you're looking for a quick bite to eat and you want to sit down service instead of going to a fast food drive-through and you want a little bit more of a part of your meal. The chicken was dried out and overly brown on the chicken taco. That's the one I had to toss because when I tried biting into it, I thought it was a bone. I also did not like the watery salsa. Very disappointed in Salsa Salsa. I order from here almost weekly and I always mention I have the foodie card. They are on the foodie card and should be honoring it at all times. They even pop up on the app as an establishment that accepts it for dine in and take out. Yet tonight, they wouldn't honor it for me. Now, I'm the past, they always tell me in order to get the discount, I have to pay in cash... which is untrue but I do it anyway. Tonight, they told me only for dine in. Which again, is untrue. I literally showered the girl at the front that they come up on the app as a pick up restaurant, she had no idea what the foodie card even was. A delightful experience all around! Came here for lunch with a friend and we were promptly greeted with smiles and jokes from the owner. We were seated in a comfy booth and got right down to the drinks. My friend had a spicy margarita and I had a passion fruit margarita. We both thoroughly enjoyed them and couldn't wait for our food. We were given complimentary chips and salsa and we saved the salsa for our tacos because it was so good! We tried all of their street tacos and were very pleased. My favorites in order were: shrimp, carne asada, and steak. I also had a grilled stuffed avocado on the side and y'all - I almost wept. Fantastic!!! As soon as we arrived the owner greeted us and walked us through the menu to get an idea of what we liked and suggested drinks. I have celiac disease and he made sure to walk me through the menu talking to me about everything that was gluten free and then I had the Korean beer taco which were OUTSTANDING! Salsa Salsa was a first time eating there experience for me. Our waitress was excellent. She was friendly and very efficient. I had a chicken burrito which was large and filled with yummy ingredients. My husband had a steak and egg burrito which he really enjoyed. The reasoning for the loss of a star is because of the fact that the chicken had quite a few fatty pieces in it. Also there was some confusion with the up-charges for sour cream and guaq. It said $1 for both but it is actually $1 each. So $2 if you want both. That bothered me a little. All in all it was a delicious burrito minus the fatty pieces. We will be back again. read more

Only have taken out but my order is always correct as they repeat it prior to hanging up to phone to ensure correct items. First off I walk in wearing my mask because it's covid season and the lady at the front is looking at me like I have 3 heads. Nobody in the establishment is wearing masks. Are they all vaccinated? Who knows but I wear my mask every time I'm out (and yes I'm vaccinated) because you never know. You don't want to wear a mask? That's good for you. Don't side eye me for wearing mine. Once I'm seated I order my appetizer which was elote. If you have had elote before then you know that it's grilled corn with Mexican cream, cheese and cayenne pepper. This elote was boiled there's no way the corn I bit into was grilled. That corn was boiled. It also wasn't even spicy and they used lite mayo. I just ate boiled corn with Mayo on it. On to my entree. Street tacos. Two carne asada and two pulled pork carnitas. I just want to know what they seasoned the meat with. Salt and pepper? There was absolutely no flavor at all. Not a hint of spice or adobo. Nothing. I took the rest to go and left. Oh and my waiter? Just took my orders and didn't really check in. I won't be back. read more

I did a catering order for about 30 people for a taco bar. The food was well packed and came hot! It was delivered on time and they were accommodating to do a time change request. Overall, The amount of food was a bit smaller than I expected. (I ordered 86 tacos for 30 people but when people make their own they tend to use more meat than estimated) When the owner realized that we may need more food she gave me her cell phone and told me to call directly if I needed more food. The extra food arrived within 20 minutes right to my door. Truly Excellent service! The food itself was good but the meat could use more seasoning. The pico and hot sauce and churros were delicious! For Tex mex the food is lacking flavor. Ordered the chicken fajitas and the chicken tasted like it was cooked and then frozen. The yellow rice is lacking any sort of flavoring.
