Del Lusso Pizza seemed like a convenient option, so I called on Friday to speak with a manager about possibly bringing our group there on a regular basis. The person who answered said they'd get a manager. When someone else picked up and claimed to be the manager, I politely asked for their name so I could properly address them and introduced myself. Right away, their tone was abrasive and dismissive. When I asked again for their name, they got even more aggressive, repeating, "I am the manager, what can I help you with?" in a rude and unprofessional manner. I was taken aback. I calmly told him that based on his tone, this didn't seem like a place we'd want to do business with, and I ended the call. That same night, I had a group of 24 people that was at our weekly event and half of us went out to eat after our event--and we chose Eureka, right next door. The food was excellent, the service was warm and welcoming, and everyone had a great experience. We ended up spending over $400 there--money that could have easily gone to Del Lusso had the customer service on the phone been even remotely respectful. It's a shame. I always want to support local spots, but a rude first impression goes a long way. We'll be sticking with businesses that treat potential customers with basic courtesy. read more

The housemade dressing was perfect with the salad, and the guanciale was rendered perfectly, all while the pasta was perfectly creamy. I've been here twice now, and both times have been amazing. It's a cute little Italian place where they take there business seriously. My first time there I had the fresh bread with olive oil to start, and the bread was delicious- you could taste the real ingredients and freshness. The owner stopped by to tell us his story and he is a genuine guy who helped a lot of people through the pandemic. Their wine list is great, some quality wines by the glass. Went to grab take out today 12/6/24 around 12:30. It wasn't busy there was only one table with people dining ....and the host I'm not sure i think his name was Del? He was super welcoming and friendly. That is what made us want to order. I ordered the caprese sandwich which came with a side salad. However when I went to eat it I had been given chicken milanese. I was disappointed but wasn't gonna make a big deal since i didn't wanna go back. I just ate it. It was ok. It was a good sized piece of chicken, tasted ok but the bread was hard. I took the chicken out of bread. Lol. Side salad was excellent. Son ordered Salsicciota pizza. Smells so good in the car. Lol he said pizza was good. We then also ordered 2 alcoholic drinks, the Melograno Melon Margarita and the Strawberry Velvet. Both these drinks were cheap canned drinks which was not disclosed to us, so we were surprised when they arrived with them. Which btw, did look it up, they're literally 3 dollars per can and they're selling it at $13... insane. We don't remember the other brand, but we looked it up and it was the same, the Melon Margarita brand is Melograno... feel free to check out the price on that and compare. Nothing against the servers, they're just doing their job and, yes, they are attentive, but the service cannot save the food at all. Perhaps we just missed the memo and you're not supposed to eat pizza here and their forte is something else, but pizzas here are definitely not served with good proportions, ingredients or care, it feels like they just bake the pizzas and let them sit under a warm light until someone eventually orders it, $21.85 for a sauce stained flatbread is ridiculous. My favorite dishes are the Mediterranean salad with the best dressing ever, the sautéd shrimp, the vegetarian pizzas, and delicious tiramisu. I love love love a brick oven pizza! Decided to go with the L'Americano which was basically pepperoni with hot honey and it was divine. The sweetness with the flavor of the pepperoni was so good and the crust was perfectly chewy! I'll definitely be dreaming of this pizza. My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and he thought it was great although I felt the chicken was pretty small. We went for dinner and it was a cold night. Not sure if they keep all the doors open year round, but since they were all open, even the inside was cold. Spending $25 for a single serve pizza I def expected more. However, Crust didn't have much flavor beyond the char on the bottom from the woodfire oven, no crisp at all, in fact I can only describe it as chewy. Another reviewer echoed my thoughts about a similar pizza (Sausage & Mushroom) - very little sauce which is weird because the pizza could be described as wet. Sausage had hardly any flavor, got nothing from the very thin layer of sauce, nor the Fior Di Latte cheese. Mushrooms I guess were as expected and plenty of them. So really I just ate a very chewy pizza with a slight flavor of mushroom, char, and basil. I regret not ordering L'Americano (San Marzano tomato sauce, Fior Di Latte, pepperoni, Mike's hot honey) especially if I had known to ask for extra sauce but somehow I doubt they can crisp up the crust at all without it getting burnt but chewy may work for this one. Oh well, years of wondering and now I have my answer... go across the street for Corner pizza. read more
