I had a strong feeling that this was most likely not possible as most tailors are normally booked for weeks in advance and of course need time to make said adjustments! Nevertheless, I stopped by Elegant Tailor and Cleaners in pure desperation, really hoping that somehow it would be possible and boy did I get lucky! Tracy was able to do a complete turn around and have my dress ready in 2 days. Unbelievable. On top of that, she made it 10x more flattering than I could have possibly imagined! This was a very cheap Amazon dress that did not do me any favors but by the time that Tracy was done with it, you would have no idea. I could not recommend Tracy more, she was so kind, professional, quick and such a pro. Reasonable pricing as well! I will definitely be back.

The owner of the shop is truly so kind and warm and does an incredible job of balancing between guiding you on what would work best for your clothing while also allowing you to explain what you want. I brought two brand new dresses over - one to be hemmed and the other to be taken in - and both dresses look fantastic. I don't often get my clothing altered so I was a little surprised by how much it was to shorten a single layer dress ($75) but it was only $35 to have the other one taken in. Overall, the price was still worth the quality of work and I will definitely return any time I need something altered!

"How did this ever happen??!", noticing a buttonhole that needed a small amount of repair. She automatically took the shirts and hung them up on her to-do rack making it somewhat uncomfortable for me to say thanks, but no thanks. It was then I wanted to know how much the bill would be, and she replied $24. I then grabbed the shirts off of her rack and bid her a good day. I have seen this same tactic used at different types of repair shops where the owner overly dramatizes what needs to be done and takes possession of the item prior to discussing the charge or getting approval. In sales that's called the assumptive close, where they act as though they assume you will approve the work and pay their price for the very minimal effort required. Don't fall for it. I have just now received a response from the lady's husband indicating that I must have visited a different shop and mistakenly thought I was in theirs. Absolutely not possible as I've been in several times in the past. Perhaps showing the shirts will refresh her memory and also defend my own. For full disclosure, the green shirt does have a small half-inch rip on the back side.

My dress needed the straps to be shorter and my slit was sewed since it was rather high. I also added sleeves to my dress and she did an amazing job! With the extra fabric, she offered to make two pocked squares as well. My sister and I had a very small window in which we needed alterations for her bridesmaid suit and my dress. They got them BOTH done so fast and the work was incredible. Aside from the work, they have great customer service which seems to be hard to come by these days. Highly recommend this place! Would definitely return. More info on cost: I paid $138 for the slit to be sewed, straps to be shorter, added sleeves, plus two pocket squares. My sisters alterations to her suit were nearly the same amount

I am so over the moon to share that I found my dress at the Bustle! It did take a couple of tries…read moreto find "the one" but ultimately I found her ;) For my first visit to the Bustle, I did one of their large party reservations. They had champagne for everyone and it was truly a blast, but slightly overwhelming with so many personality types on my side of things. I recommend this to get the experience, but just want to give a heads up on that. I also had fallen in love with a sample dress that just did not fit my body unfortunately, though Tam & Melody tried their best to see how they might be able to modify it. At the end of the day it was just too much to do to the dress. For my second visit, I tried on a dress that I was initially interested in but didn't have time to try on at my first visit. And... well, this is the one. I tried on a few others as well, and ultimately left thinking about that first one. Melody was so awesome for not pushing me to make a decision, I really hate that feeling. So I was grateful to her for being so patient with me- this is a big decision!! At my final visit, it was just to re-try on MY dress and then one that was super similar to it. And that just locked in my decision! I am sooo happy I found my dress and I am very grateful to Melody for all her help

They told me it will be ready the next day I needed it done the same day they expedited the process for me. The hat looks clean smells good almost brand new very reasonably priced. Also, one of the workers recommended a tailor for me. That's also next-door. That was also willing to meet my scheduling deadlines I am very happy with these guys. I'm happy also that I found my new dry cleaning place, which is right by my house and by my bank totally recommend.

I came in right before they closed at about 5:45 pm and their register was broken so they were only taking cash (which I didn't have) and they were so kind enough to use the honor system with me and told me to just come back another day and pay which was SO SWEET and considerate, especially because I was in a huge time crunch and needed my clothes by that day since I was leaving town that night. Overall, such a great neighborhood dry cleaning service. You can tell they really care about their customers and this will definitely be my go to spot!
