The flavor we ordered was strawberry shortcake and we were not disappointed. The filling had fresh strawberries but it did not take away from the texture of the cake. This cake was gorgeous and delicious. We ordered a cake for my mothers 60th Birthday. It was to be mint green and peach to match the decorations. Unfortunately, there was miscommunication between the attendant at the front and the designer so when we went to pick up the cake it was mint green and light pink. But this bakery is great. They quickly took the cake to the back and painted the larger flowers peach and I told them not to worry about the smaller ones. It's not like the color was totally off like red. I've ordered several custom cakes and have not been disappointed. Not only were they beautiful & delicious, but the price for what you get is very reasonable. The baker and staff are nice & willing to work with you on whatever customization you want, and the bakery itself is clean and well-kept. Disappointed this time around. Had a fantastic chocolate birthday cake from here a couple of years ago so went back to get a birthday cake for a party. Ordered Tres Leche with peach. Absolutely disappointing, dry cake, smells like the cake had been left in a fridge uncovered and the cake absorbed all the fridge smells. The Leche part was watery like soaked in skimmed milk. Quite frankly I was embarrassed because less than half of the 20 inch cake was eaten at the party. Worst $50 I've ever spent on a cake. Hope they get it together. The storefront and display case look underwhelming, but don't let that discourage you from patronizing this business. The baker does an excellent job on specialty cakes. For my son's 1st birthday, I got him a shark shaped cake that looked like it was coming out of the water. There was a #1 made out of white chocolate clenched in its spikey teeth. It was AWESOME looking and great tasting. I'm always a last minute planner so it's great that they don't require a lot of lead time. I've had positive experiences on all orders except for one. The tres leches cake for my father in law's 70th birthday almost didn't make it until the end of the party. The milk kept seeping out from the bottom throughout the day and I would've like more sweetness to the cake. Other than that, all of the other cakes that I've ordered were fantastic. read more

My man works nearby and his coworkers got him a chocolate mousse cake (with strawberries on top) in celebration of our first baby. He brought some home for me and let me tell you..I have never tasted a better cake in my life. My guy doesn't normally eat chocolate cake and he agrees. He got me a cake for our anniversary from here as well. Just amazing. It is so moist and sweet but not overpowering. The mousse inside is also not overpowering with sweetness but so light and creamy. He also brought me an M&M cookie which was enormous and also very tastey. He always deals with Jessica who is a sweetheart from what I hear. He sometimes gets breakfast sandwiches, egg and cheese on a croissant. He says he will only eat it if Jessica makes it though. We plan on getting our baby's first birthday cake from here, and as far as I am concerned any other event that needs sweets will come from here as well. read more
